GWL looks like a ton of fun. I know that kids just love it there. I think my kids were a little too old by the time they got popular. The room is very cute. What a fun experience for the cooler weather.
It really was a nice get-away. I was a little skeptical but it turned out to be lots of fun.
Thank you for posting to pictures of the Gaylord Ice sculptures. I have always been curious to see the one in Orlando and now I know I definitely want to see it. I wonder when it starts in November. Very cool.
It really was cool! I'd like to go back one day when I don't have a young child to keep up with. It was very crowded in there and my 4 year old didn't really want to take his time and admire the sculptures like I wanted.
IOA looks like a ton of fun. I agree that the Hulk is one of the best coasters ever!

Thank you about my pictures of Reid. When I have the time to think about how I want to manipulate my settings, I can produce ok pics. Reid just usually isn't very patient with me.
I enjoyed reading about your day at IoA, but I'm glad it's over because I didn't really know what to say about it! Universal is a subject I don't know too much about! Hahah, I apologize. The character meets sound super annoying though. Ugh.

Looks like you had fun at IOA! That Spiderman ride is great, im glad Reid liked it. I love Reid's face in the Spidey line. I totally agree with you on the meet & greets at IOA. I could go on a rant but I won't lol. That background with Spidey is so annoying! Of course we were suckered into buying pictures so I guess their plot worked on us.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who doesn't like their meet and greets. And I probably would have bought the picture too if ours had come out better. It's like they didn't even wait for Reid to smile at the camera.
I love the HP area. I could spend all day there looking at the details. One day...when I go by myself.
I'd love to go there by myself, too! I could spend hours there just taking pictures.

The Neverland Club sounds like a steal! You could barely go out at home for that price much less at Disney.
That's what I said! Most babysitters around here charge $12-$14/hour. I thought it was a surprisingly good deal.

You should definitely do it! It's not a bad price and it's so much fun for the kids. And I have to say that it was really nice to have one quiet meal on our trip.
I'm so glad that date night worked out! I know that it was a bit of a worry for you in the beginning, but it sounds like everyone had a great time! That fee for the Neverland Club seems super reasonable to me.

I've been waffling between Citricos and Narcosses for our next trip. Thought I had decided on Narcosses, but now....
I've heard many good things about Narcoosee's. But, I highly suggest Citricos. Our meal was delicious!
IoA sounds like a lot of fun. Neither Bryan nor I are huge HP fans, so I've been writing off IoA since it seems like HPland is the main attraction. Seems like we'd have a lot more to do than I thought!
I don't know when we'll go back to IoA or Universal but it is a fun place. When Reid gets older, we'll probably spend more time there.
Reid's pictures are adorable as always but I really love the one where he's practicing his Spidey moves. They do the same green screen thing at Sesame Place. I was so bummed about that when we took DD there. Just another thing that Disney does better I guess!

I was so happy that Reid had fun in the club. We'll definitely utilize it again in the future. And Citricos was just fantastic. I can't say enough good things about it.
Ok, I needed this update, thanks. I've been to Universal and IOA several times, and I do enjoy them, but I just wasn't excited about spending a day there next week. I think I'm a little more ready for it now. I can't wait to get back there and ride Hulk. That and Jurassic Park. I just love the animatronic dinosaurs and the theming of that ride. I just wish it was in one of those Jeeps from the movie (something closer to Dinosaur at AK) rather than a water ride, because sometimes I just don't want to get wet!
Well, by now you're on your trip and y'all have already been to IoA. I hope y'all had a fun day there. And that you were able to ride Jurassic Park and the Hulk.

I'm glad you got to enjoy a date night. If DW and I ever get a chance, we'll have to make sure Citricos is one of the top options.

I've always wondered how much it would cost to do the Neverland Club for an evening, but not having kids old enough to go there anyway, I've never even looked into it. I don't think 28.50 is bad at all. Well worth it for a night out, and if he had such a good time there, that's fantastic.
I thought it was a really good deal especially when you consider that dinner and snacks were included. Definitely look into it when you're kids are old enough. Well worth the price!

Discovery Island was a hit with my girls, there was a handler with a baby triceratops...and all the kids thought it was real..not to mentio a great place to cool ff and chill a bit

Love your trip report! Reid is just adorable to look at...I love his little face! My DH and boys would love to go to IoA but I am the hold out! I just like staying at Disney when I am at Disney...plus we don't have a car there!
Thank you so much!! IoA is fun...even if you just take a day to visit. If you don't have a car, the Mears shuttles can transport you from Disney to IoA and back again. And they're reasonably priced. But, you don't have to tell your DH and sons that if you don't want.

Sorry Ive been all MIA again - I am a terrible DISer lately. Had to travel for work this week, and now we are going to be moving in two weeks! So crazy, crazy times!

I really enjoyed the look at Universal. We have never been and probably wont until Willow is quite a bit older, but it really does look like a lot of fun! The character meets sound a little problematic, but how cool to meet Spiderman!!! Of course, I dont really know most of the other characters, so, um, yeah

The Harry Potter area really is so neat to see and experience especially if you're a big Potter fan (like me).

Fun to read about your Thanksgiving trip. The Kid Kamp room looks so fun!!! The indoor water park is insane! You know, looking at these pictures and reading along, I was thinking there may be something like this in Oregon or Washington - maybe even the same place. I was going to Google but then you kindly listed all the locations!

Sounds like a great day at Univeral. I have to say I remember when Disney did NOT have the handlers or the lines for the character meet and greets. That is one of the best things they ever incorporated.
I know some people say they wish Disney didn't have the handlers but
it would just be a nightmare. I'm so glad Disney does it in an orderly manner.
