I'm amazed it's so far into your trip and you are just now getting to F&W! That is some willpower. I can't believe the CM teased the poor kid about the chicken exit, that's just cruel.
If it had been just my DH & I, we definitely would have hit up F&W earlier. But, I do have to say that our son was pretty good about us stopping as so many kiosks to try food while he just sat in his stroller.
Really enjoyed hearing both of your takes on the races you did, sorry yours wasn't what you'd hoped but glad that your bug didn't impact the trip much after that. Ah...4 years old, I remember those kinds of moments and meltdowns, nice to see you took the time for a date night.

Great start to an EpCOT day. I hear ya about Soarin'. I love it, black spots and all. I see it needs help, but I think since I rode it when it 1st opened, it has a special place in my heart.
I think if they freshened it up it would definitely help the ride out.

I can't believe how little time it took you to get to the bag check after JUST leaving your hotel.
If I didn't like using DME so much I might just be rethinking my "no renting a car" policy.
I think this trip made me never want to fly again. Or at least not be without a car. It was so ridiculously quick and easy to get everywhere on our own. And OKW is great because you practically park right outside of your room.

It was a really cute show! And all of the kids were so excited to be talking to Crush.
Soarin is one of my all time favorite rides.. but I agree definitely a little "hyped up". Maybe because there are so few rides in epcot?
I think that has to be what it is. I don't see any other reason why it would be so popular.
I wonder if the Queen of Hearts was out because the ToT villians bash? I know this was after... but maybe she managed to hide out a bit after the show?
Maybe so. I had never seen her there so it was quite a surprise. The only place I've ever seen her is in the Animation building @ DHS.
Oh... now I just realized this was our last day and we went to Epcot. I will have to try and remember where we were.... and look in your pictures and mine. Maybe our paths crossed and we didn't even know it.

Too funny about your interactions with Crush. I sort of clam up too when I get picked on in group situations, so I know what you mean. I feel my mouth get dry and my palms all sweaty.
It's so terrible. I wish I wasn't that way. That's part of the reason why I haven't done the Laugh Floor yet. It causes me so much anxiety.

UGH - that is the worst "ride". Such a waste. But, at least you get to sit down for a second and it's air conditioned.
What an awesome time with Crush! I hope Willow will sit up front this year (she was only 3 the first and only time we have done it).
I bet she will and I bet she'll be ready to ask him a questions. Just be prepared that he may want to speak to you, too.
You know, I am a fan of Soarin' - I love the free feeling it gives me, and it makes me smile. But the dirty screen comes pretty close to ruining the experience for me. I wish they would do something about it. And I do totally understand why it wouldn't be a favorite - actually, I doubt I would wait more than 15 minutes for it either (but I can say that about almost every ride!
).
They really do need to fix that screen. With all the other refurbs they do, I don't understand why that ride is never on the list.

Love the pics!!!!!!! I agree with driving...especially early morning! Parking is easy peasy!!! We once parked first few rows all parks when we stayed FWC with FD! Of course this didn't work for MK, and I didn't know there was a boat there

That's how we were at the parks - got to park on the first few rows every day. I didn't even mind driving to MK. Yes, it took longer than the other parks but it wasn't bad.

Reid is so much like Ed and myself. Yet, there are some ways in which he is so very different. I am glad that he's outgoing and not shy. I wish I would've been more like him growing up.
