hey everyone
i still owe 250 $ on my trip something came up and i had to use some of our disney money. 30 day well be on nov 3 do you think they will cancel the trip on me

has anyone payed their trip off at the 30 day mark :headache:

I don't know, but the best thing you can do is phone reservations and ask.

i call they put a note on my reservation i hope the do not thank you anyway!!:thumbsup2

We just had a significant bill come up too, so I just changed our reservation to a room only, that way the total isn't due until we get there. I will just purchase the tickets when I get there and have them put them on our room cards then.

I just recently paid my trip off over 2 weeks late and they didn't even send me a reminder much less cancel my reservation.

Can you call back and give them an exact date you will pay?

As long as there is a note on your account I think you are fine. I have a friend that missed her 45 day window simply because she forgot. She called within a few days of remembering (maybe 4-5 days late:confused:) paid everything and all was fine.

I am guessing you have a package since you have to pay 45 days out so You can also reduce the number of days on your tickets to one or two and that will take care of it, then once you get there you let them know you want to change the number of days and you pay right there at the concierge desk at your hotel when you check in- we have done this in the past and it worked well for us!

You can change it to a room only and then when you have the money, call and add the dining and tickets on and then pay off the balance.

CALL. I had to pay mine late one time, and I was told that they say 45, but give you untill 30 before it will cancel. I was mailing a check on the 45 day mark, and it was fine. I would call though- I am sure you will be fine.

:thumbsup2 GOOD IDEA!!!

They don't want to lose your business so I am sure they will do everything they can to accomodate you.

If you downgrade your tickets they may charge you the $50 change fee.

I'd call to see if they will work with you on an adjusted final payment date.

We ran into an issue. We have an excellent travel agent (Mouse Fan Travel) and they contacted the Mouse in our behalf. What we were told is that as long as they see regular payments and the balance is paid prior to arrival, things will be fine. Our original package was around $6k, we're 12 days out with $600 remaining which will be paid next week. We've been making payments of about $1k per week and our ressy hasn't been cancelled. Your mileage may vary, no warranties either expressed or implied, etc.

To echo the other posters, communication is the key and the Mouse wants your money. Call 'em and work it out. You hold up your end of the deal and they'll hold up theirs.

So glad to read that they will work with you..my DH and I were stressing today because our 45 day mark is Dec 7 but we cant pay it off until closer to the 30 day out mark..His theory is "there isn't a single dime Disney will turn away" we have been making payments on the trip as well, so I am sure we will be fine:thumbsup2

I had to pay a couple of days late once due to an issue transferring funds. I called and they said it would not be an issue.

I was told by a CM the other day, that as long as they see that you have made significant deposits towards your package, they will just note your account that you will be paying late. My 45 day payment was due on Oct 31st, but was unable to pay in full due to an emergency home repair. I called and told them that I would be paying the entire balance on Nov 18th, which is actually 25 days before my trip, and they said that it was okay and that they would note it on my ressie. The CM told me that ressies aren't automatically cancelled, but that someone in Guest Services must manually cancel. If they see that you have $2k paid already, they will just send you a late notice email/phone call, but will not cancel you.
