Well I've spent the last hour building a websight, what do you think?

That was actually fun. I spent the last hour playing on geocities and building a websight (or part of one) that I'll use to update everyone on the progress of the adoption plus pics and other things. When we get our referrel photos I'll post them there as well. When I have time I'm going to try and put more specifics on the time, and paperchasing that is included in International Adoption.

But for now tell me what you think,

I was planning on paying the $5 or maybe even the second option but I wanted to use paypal and they only accept CC. I hate puting my CC info. online. Its on paypal ONLY right now.

Yes, it would get rid of the pop-up and the ads on the right.

Plus it would give you more transfer bandwidth - just a few DISers hitting it exceeded your 'quota' for the free site.

You can always 'build' your site on Geocities with their free tools and 'post' it on another site that you can call in and pay for. Actually, Godaddy's hosting plan is only $3.16 (prepaid) a month, and it's MUCH larger. Maybe you should look into their tools? Of course, there you would have to register a domain, but if you buy hosting now, you can register your domain for $1.99. Cool!

Try clearing your cookies & rebooting. If you have a different browser, try that. Also, your picture is covering the bottom paragraph of your words.

GoDaddy.com also has a special right now that includes Complete Email ($9.95/yr value!) for one yr with the $1.99 domain registration.

Do you have AOL or Verizon? I have personal webpages with both of those. You could use them to host your website.

Not being critical, just a suggestion, maybe put the text at the top on a plain background or use all one color for the text. I am having a hard time reading the green and red text but I think I am color blind. Very nice otherwise. (not a fan of the jumping rhinos either

ROTFL, I read this thread before going to your website and I seriously thought everyone was just teasing you by making up a story about dancing rhinos, but when I went to your site, there they are!

Your site looks great, Beth (minus the rhinos, LOL). I love your pictures, and your Mickey at the bottom! I hope you will keep us updated as time goes by. Good luck with your dossier medicals--once you are done with those you will really be in the clear, and on your way to DTC! Congrats again on your approved homestudy!

I didn't really like the Yahoo thing to the right there, but I seen you were going to pay $5.00 to correct that. My popup blocker blocked everything else and I did get that warning showing something was blocked, but I shut that off, so from here on in, It'll just block it without informing me. I'm not sure what the others saw, but I didn't see any rhino. Maybe it was only a popup?

It looks like a great start for you there though.

I'm just hesitant because I heard Yahoo puts a lot of spyware in their stuff. I'm not sure what that means. LOL That's what I heard though! I'd make sure there was no spyware going out. I'm not sure how you can do that though. My guess is, someone will weigh in to tell you how, or to say that N.Bailey is crazy! They really wouldn't be too far off!
