For those who have been following my saga over the past month, we got the call from the doctor this morning at 5:30. FIL passed away. While it is a sad situation, it really was for the best. He was basically back and forth from the hospital to the nursing home/rehab for the past month. He was in pain, couldnt get out of bed, and aggravated that he was so helpless(hes only 64). In fact the other day he said to DH "Oh just shoot me!". Thats not a quality life at all.
I hate to say it, but in a way it is like a weight has been lifted off our shoulders. We knew it was inevitable, but it was just a matter of when. Every time the phone rang, we panciked. Plus we were completely stressed over what to do about our WDW trip coming up in 2 weeks. At least now FIL is at peace, and we can stop worrying 24/7.
