Well imagine my surprise!June 2009 PTRw/pics 7/7 pg. 76 NEW TR started link on pg. 76

:yay::yay::yay:
That is just so great you got your plans in place -- what a nice start! And some wonderful choices! :thumbsup2 You definitely got the difficult ones in place, so that is a big relief I am sure. Sleep well tonight! :goodvibes

Thanks so much! Feels GREAT to have the bulk of them done!:goodvibes

So glad that the supervisor was able to hook you up.

You must be so relieved to have most of them done now

When can you make the last 7?

Thanks Kelly! I made the next 2 this morning and I will be making 2 tomorrow and then 1 each on Wed, Thurs. and Fri!:thumbsup2

Diane,
I sure hope we run into each other. We have the same parks for the four days our trip overlaps! Glad it went well!

Laura

I hope we see one another too! Be sure to stop me if you see us and I will do the same!!!:goodvibes

Wow! I might have had a heart attack had I heard the CM tell me it was her first day of work booking ADRs! You handled it like a pro.

I'd love to know the shortcut prompts through the phone, though, if you don't mind!!!

I did tear up a little bit but then just proceeded with my mission!! I will send you a PM!:thumbsup2

So glad you got your ADRs and had some awesome service from the supervisor! :thumbsup2

Thanks carissa, he really and truly ROCKED!:thumbsup2 You must be SO excited over there!!!:goodvibes

OMG I can't believe you got a CM on their first day :scared1:. Well the supervisor sounds like he did and excellent job :thumbsup2, 8 ressies at once. I never had a CM do another ressie unitl they read there long list of prompts and then give me a confirmation number. Your ADR's look great! Glad to hera you were able to get Sci Fi  ( not available that is crazy) and Le Cellier. California Grill is my most favorite restaurant in Disney!

I panicked initially but then it all worked out!:thumbsup2 Thanks for your great feedback about our ressies!!:thumbsup2

Congrats on making your ADR's. I know I was bummed yesterday with the boards down. Glad everything worked out for you.

Thanks! It was weird not being able to see how everyone else was making out!:thumbsup2

Duncan sounds awesome :thumbsup2

You should email disney and let them know what a great cast member he is :goodvibes

He is awesome and I definitely will e-mail them!!:thumbsup2

Congrats on ALL of your ADRs and your WONDERFUL CM!!! I'm certain that you wouldn't have gotten such great service anywhere else! Our last four days of our trip overlap with your first four days! Hopefully we'll see each other. I still can't imagine planning all of those meals. WOW!!

You rock! Thanks!

No problem!:goodvibes

What an awesome CM--- so nice to do that for you!

Thanks Laura! I thought it was awesome too!:thumbsup2

Thanks! Make sure you say hello if you see us! I am so excited at the prospect of meeting so many Disser's!:goodvibes

So what would a good trip report be without some changes, right!:rolleyes1 Yes, I have already made some changes to our dining plans. I have also been able to add 2 more days of dining. So as of right now we are booked through 7/2!! I will post the changes once all the ADR'S are made!:goodvibes

My next dilemma is the 3rd and 4th of July! Our original plan was to eat at Ohana on the 3rd and then watch the MK fireworks from the Poly beach....WELL, I have been reading HORROR reports about 7/3 and 7/4 that people are staking out spots on thebeach starting at 3:00 in the afternoon and that by 6:00pm it is PACKED on the beach!!:scared1: Also, people are reporting waits of up to 1 1/2 hours for a monorail and buses out of the area!! Also, the Poly doesn't even let you drive and park your car their unless you have a confirmed ADR! I cannot imagine that ANY fireworks are worth that aggravation! So, I need suggestions for the 3rd!:confused3 Being that we will be at the Boardwalk Villas from 7/2-7/5 on the 4th we will definitely just hang out on the Boardwalk and watch Epcots fireworks from there:thumbsup2 I thought about maybe doing the AK during the day on the 4th as there are no fireworks there? What do you think? HELP!!:goodvibes

I agree with you - nothing is worth the stress of dealing with crazy crowds! (not to mention safety issues)

:earsboy:Joining the Fun!!!;)

We are going to AKV concierge level June 29-July6
We've got the same dilema for the 4th:confused3
Here's my thoughts
7/3 go to MK and bear with the crowds for the fireworks that night
7/4 hopefully BB for some swimming fun and to the Poly for the dinner show- if beach is too crowded we may try for boardwalk or epcot. decisions decisions:confused3

Keep up the great reporting:thumbsup2
Maybe someday soon I'll try my hand at this trip reporting stuff:idea:

Diane,
You know I hate crowds. It would be great to watch the fireworks from Poly and have dinner at 'Ohana but probably not worth the stress. I think AK is a great idea and will be the least crowded park :goodvibes..

After several viewings of "wishes" during your time there, I would forego the crowds on the 3/4. On a side note, it's easy for me to say that.. my cousins (distant to me close to my grandparents) own the firework company that supplies WDW with all their fireworks.. their original shop is Millington, NJ and then they opened one in Fl to supply Disney and other florida attractions.. so I get to see their firework style frequently in NJ in my hometown during the italian feast week in July! Of course there is no disney magic with them but as much as I love fireworks, I do feel like "you've seen one, you've seen em all."

I think the AK sounds like a good plan for the 4th.

That large of a crowd would be stressful and could be dangerous, even, if people get crazy enough.:scared:

Watching fireworks from Boardwalk where you are staying sound like perfect thing to do.:thumbsup2

Can you see the fireworks from the pool at boardwalk? That would be fun watching them while in the pool:goodvibes

Honestly, I think hanging out at the Boardwalk on the 4th will be very nice. You can always view the Illuminations fireworks that night from the BW area.

Thanks Carissa! You know I always take peoples idea of crowded with a grain of salt but after seeing pictures, I cannot imagine it being much fun especially in the June heat!!!:goodvibes

Welcome and thank you!!:cheer2: How cool that you will be at concierge...would love to try that someday!! Writing these reports really is alot of fun!!:thumbsup2

Thanks Nichole! This is really what we are leaning towards!:thumbsup2

congrats on getting your ADR's.. Duncan sounds fantastic :) Looks like this is lining up to be a fab trip :)

Thanks so much, yes, Duncan was FANTASTIC!!:goodvibes

I was wondering how "special" the 4th fireworks were, we have personally seen the Macy's ones in NYC on the 4th....do the ones at Disney measure up? I know the Disney magic is unmatched but ...........:confused3

Thanks Kelly! Maybe we will hit MK for awhile in the am and then head back to the Boardwalk!:goodvibes

Thanks, I agree! Thanks for weighing in!:thumbsup2

One of the big advantages of staying in the Epcot area resorts is the easy walk to Epcot or even DHS. Also, it is nice to just hangout at the Boardwalk in the evening or do the loop and walk around the area / rent a surrey bike. So, yes, use your advantage of that area on 7/4 and avoid those MK fireworks crowds. Illuminations is my personal favorite - enjoy :thumbsup2

Thanks for your advice! We are really looking forward to the Boardwalk!!:goodvibes
