Well imagine my surprise!June 2009 PTRw/pics 7/7 pg. 76 NEW TR started link on pg. 76

Love your pictures of the snow day! :goodvibes We also had a snow day yesterday. We didn't get quite as much as you did, but probably about half of that. Still a lot for Maryland! It was so cold and windy though.

WHAT FUN!!!! Wow! We've only had that much snow one time, really put it into perspective when your boys were standing in it. Looks like you guys had a blast, loved the sledding picture of the boys going down backwards, what fun! Good luck getting "un buried" : )

Not having to move rooms is a big plus! :thumbsup2

Thanks Jackie! Oh yes not moving rooms is a HUGE plus!!:thumbsup2

Thanks for heads up regarding hours, I have my spreadsheet w/ hours and preferred days now completed(thanks to touring plans, I decided to forgo TGM this year). Looking forward to calling about ADRs, not. We will be at YC June 20 - 27. Maybe we will see you!!

Love the snow pics, we had about 7" here in Maryland, my older boys also loved their snow day and sledding!

7'' is alot for Maryland! Glad the kids enjoyed it! If you see us in June please come up and say hello!!:goodvibes

Looks like you all had a blast.

I think we got about 9 inches. My husband said 5 inches

So he outside now to figure it out for sure :rotfl2:

Deluxe Dining sounds good...Can't wait to hear your full report and see some food porn on that popcorn::

That is so funny about your DH!! Oh no worries I will take plenty of dining pics!!:goodvibes

your snow day looks like alot of fun! I can't believe how much snow you got!!

It was a shock to us too...but so much fun!

Loved the snow pix! And we have the same kiddo shovels! The sledding looked like it was great fun!:thumbsup2

We had a blast sledding but my legs hurt today from shoveling and walking up and down that hill 100 times!:goodvibes

Well you finally got some snow....I am sure the boys enjoyed it! I don't want to see any around here until next December! BTW... I need Touring Plans advice!

Yes we finally got snow!!;) I PM'd you, I hope you got it!:goodvibes

Hi Diane,
Love the snow pics, my kids are so jealous. Tom though doesn't miss shoveling that snow at all. Looks like the kids had a blast! Glad you got another day off . Congrats on switching to Saratoga! I thought that was a better idea. is it hard to link the ressie together?? I think I'm going to do the same thing and book SSR for our first night too. It will be much easier than moving again. Your park plans look great. i was trying to find a day for HS with no EMH and no Fantasmic but could only come up with a PM EMH day to go there, which will probably be busy :headache:.

Thanks Nichole! We are so happy about switching to Saratoga then we can hit the ground running once we check in!! I agree that a pm EMH is probably not a bad choice!:goodvibes

Thanks Lesley, we did have a blast...paying for it today, sore legs and arms! Not to mention I did Jillian level 1 twice today and the treadmill for 30 minutes! Trying to jumpstart my metabolism!!:thumbsup2

What a fun day ! We live in Maryland so we got hit by the storm, too but we only got 6-7 inches. It was still alot of fun. It is nice when the whole world stops for the day and you can just have family fun. Loved the pics ... can't wait to hear your dining plans.

Thanks Carrie! I couldn't agree more, yesterday was AWESOME!! Glad you and your family got to enjoy it too! I will post my dining soon!!:goodvibes

I just finished reading your report and it's really great. Looking forward in your actual trip.

Have a nice day. :)

Yay for a snowday! Glad you were able to enjoy it. I hate it when it's so cold outside, that you can't get out and enjoy the snow.
Congratulations on adding SSR! Enjoy all of that food sister. I know that I would.

We had a little snow down south this week and got a snow day. I posted a few pics at the end of my TR. Thanks for sharing your pics, looks like a lot of fun, especially the end with some Dunkin. :rotfl2:
As I replied on my TR to Joel, I'm a southern gal, too whimpy for those cold temps for very long. : )
Think warm, Disney thoughts.:goodvibes

Mmmmm! Dunkin Donuts! Love that coffee.

Snow pics were too cute! Hope that's the last snow you (and we) get this season! I am so ready for Spring!!!

Hi there, it's Ty, remember me? I haven't been on the boards in forever and a day, it's sorta depressing when you don't know when you're going back, but now I know when I am going back, the Disney juices are flowing again, so I went to look for PTR's and found you. I am only on page 4 of your PT so far but wanted to post and let you know I am here and super excited for you.
Wow, you bought into the DVC. That's awesome. The kids must be pretty excited about this.
Loved the rock themed party, the cake was too cute. Love the guitar too, you eventually come to hear the guitar as nothing more than a slight buzz. he could be famous one day and take care of you and DH.
I would love to comment more, but I need to read more in order to do that, so I am off to catch up.

Hi Ty! Of course I remember you! I am so happy that you are back on the DIS and that you have a new trip in the works! I am so glad you found me! How are Reese and your son(sorry I forgot his name, Jim maybe?) Are you still coaching? Glad to have you along!:goodvibes

Hey everyone! I know I promised my dining update but I am still tweaking a few things! TGM came out with his June 1-15 charts so I am hoping the end of the month ones will be up soon too! Has anyone read or heard about the shipped items fee? Is it per package or a flat fee per shipment? I was wondering because we want to order water again this year? Also, we have changed our plans for our anniversary! We are considering La Nouba because they are offering a discount for DVC/annual pass holders! Also, I am so proud of my boys! They agreed to have a princess meal for their mom!:cloud9: So I am going all out and hoping to book a breakfast at Akershus to see as many princesses as I can! Eric was cute he said "Mom, Ariel better NOT call me Prince Eric cause it will embarass me!":rotfl: Have a great weekend! I am going to a gift auction tonight with my girlfriends for the boys school and then tomorrow a baby shower! Lots of girl time!!:cloud9:

Diane!

La Nouba would be awesome!! I'd love to see it someday.

What great litle boys you have to indugle their mom. :goodvibes

Have fun with all of your girl time this weekend! :thumbsup2

Keep plugging away at the dining plan. La Nouba sounds fun. I am excited for you about the princess meal. That is a big deal that your boys are going for you ... very sweet. Have fun with your girl time !

Reese is doing great, and so is Jim (you got the name right) Reese quit cheerleading, couldn't take the drama anymore, she became the lead singer in Jim's band, "The Offspring of Revolution" they have a manager and are in the process of cutting a demo, actually were in the process, Reese anounced a few days ago that she was leaving the band to start her own, creatively her and Jim are on different pages, the bands manager is now serving as Reese's manager too. I was nervous at first but now that I see both kids can have what they want and be happy the nerves have calmed down. At this point Reese wants a record deal, Jim just wants to have fun and worry about deals later, that's why they split, there is an independant label wanting to sign the kids, Jim and the drummer turned it down, the other 3 wanted it. Oh well, there's time.

I am no longer coaching, I lost my love for the sport when Reese quit. I am now training to be a Bridal conultant and in the mean time working at Bed, Bath and Beyond. Loves it!!!

Your plans sound great. I can't wait to be at a point when I can actually start planning, but I was promised this is a done deal, no having to call it off again. I've had 2 trips fall through and I can't take another disapointment.

I am learning alot of new stuff about the parks by reading your PTR, it will come in handy when I go, but hopefully the economy will have improved some by then (I'm at the part in your PTR where shows are being limited to certain nights now)

anyway, I'll keep reading, you keep writing;)

Good for them for going there seperate ways and being OK with it! I totally understand why you would lose interest in coaching when your child isn't involved anymore! I am glad my report is helping you learn new things!:thumbsup2 How fun to be a bridal consultant:thumbsup2 Thanks for reading!!;)
