but I wasn't really tickled to come back from WDW to 7 degree temps in Detroit. Brrr....

I was glad to see DH, though, we've decided we're never going to WDW without him again.

It was a great trip--a little chilly at the beginning but it warmed up by the end of the week. We had a great fireworks view at the Dolphin. I got to try Soarin' (which we all loved!) and we rode Expedition Everest 3 times on Thursday. Ate a lot of good food and had a fabulous time. We got the Photopass CD and there were a lot of good pics on there and I've been downloading the zillions of pics I took with my new digital camera.

It's so sad to be back to work today but I just wanted to stop by and say hi!

Hi Amy!! I'm glad you're back! :) What kind of yummy food did you eat?? (To me, WDW is 50% food!!)

:rotfl2: At LEAST 50%! We had a sit down meal every day and here's what I had:

The skillet at Whispering Canyon and Bobby the Kid picked out a yummy apple pie thing for our dessert (the girls couldn't decide so he made an executive decision.)

Breakfast at Chef Mickey's. Dale called Chip a loser and they were kung fu fighting at our table. :duck:

Dinner at the Biergarten--I had schnitzel and wurst salat and sauer kraut and beer and...well, pretty much everything on the buffet. I used to live in Germany and LOVE the food there.

Lunch at LeCellier. I had the french dip which was very good--so much so that I ate every bite which I rarely do. And of course, chocolate moose for dessert.

Lunch at the Prime Time. Fried chicken, mashed potatoes, green beans and s'mores for dessert.

Lunch at the Sci Fi. I had a rueben which was really good and we had the Happiest Celebration cheesecake which was fantastic. Very rich and covered in whipped cream and (I think!) caramel with caramel corn and M&M's all around the plate.

We skipped lunch at the Liberty Tree Tavern on Thursday to go ride Expedition Everest. It was closed on Monday & Tuesday.

Lots of counter service (Cosmic Ray's, Pecos Bill's, the Cantina in Mexico--I ended up getting a great seat for Illuminations, Tusker House, ABC Commissary) and a couple of meals at the Dolphin Fountain.

It's a good thing we do all that walking or I'd have gained 50 lbs!

I have never eaten at Biergarten because no one in my family is ever interested. I am going to go there next time if I have to eat there by myself!

I am now starving! I can't wait until my next trip!

Thanks, guys! Time to start planning the next trip now. :rotfl:

I kind of made myself hungry, too. Unfortunately, all I have for lunch today is a Lean Cuisine. :crazy2:
