I don't understand why there are so many rude comments since I have seen a lot of threads like this. It doesn't seem like something anyone would lie about since it isn't insulting to anyone. Maybe I am missing something?

I was wondering this myself. I mean, maybe I missed something but to me some of the replies to this post are downright cruel. Why wouldnt the posters be reprimanded in some way??? I thought personal attacks were not allowed???? What gives?
I never pass judgement on someone online unless its something I know to be true. I had a situation back in Feb when I was feeling so very down...suicidal and had NO ONE to talk to. I went to a message board that I belonged to and tried to find someone online to talk with...ANYONE to help me.I had NO ONE at 1 am here to turn to. Someone told me to take a gun and shoot myself and just end it. Good thing I didn't have a gun...but I did have a brand new bottle of Xanax and a bottle of wine. I ended up locked in the hospital for 5 days. My meds were really messed up and caused my depression to spin out of control. Good thing it didn't work.

Seriously...some people are more comfortable talking to strangers here online. Dont pass judgement on them unless you can put yourself in their shoes.
