I told my husband tonight that I want a divorce. He just looked at me and told me he wasn't surprised. He didn't have much to say. He started to pack some things and I told him he could stay in the house if he wanted, and he shook his head and walked out the door.

So I went back and read the other "not really" thread and can't see why people think this is just made up. I read where people thought it shouldn't be talked about on an internet BB (which makes me laugh because the CB has discussed such a wide variety of subjects since I been here)

Anyway, I am sorry to hear of your divorce but you sound like you are ready for this next step and have your ducks in a row. Good luck.

I worked with a girl whose DH was verbally abusive and it was a horrible situation.

I am sad that if you have been on the DIS/CB for a long time that you don't have close enough friends to talk to about this. I feel blessed to have some really close girlfriends from here to share lifes ups and downs with.
