I just tried calling my friend to basically just shoot the breeze, and when she answers the phone she yells (in a whisper, but still yells) that I knew she was at a wedding and I called at the big vow part, making her phone ring during it and ruining everything, then she hung up.

So if your wedding was ruined today by me calling my friend I am sorry... I honestly forgot she was going to be there, so I know it's my fault, even though it seems like my friend should have turned off her phone, I will accept all the blame she is laying on me since it is my fault after all right?

lol, it's kind of funny. She should have turned her phone off. Movies, wedding, Broadway plays - the phone goes OFF. This is proper cell phone etiquette!

We had a sign on a table as you entered the church to please turn off your cell phone.

Not your fault...totally hers! She should have put her phone on vibrate or off!

It's not your fault. She should've turned her ringer off and why did she even answer it?

She is in the wrong by answering the phone and even talking on it to you. She should of just turned it off right away. I'm sorry that you have to deal with the aftermath of this with her but it is kinda funny.:rotfl: Please don't be mad that I'm laughing.

Definitely NOT your fault. She should have turned the phone off!

So, YOU'RE the one that ruined my wedding today!

Hee Hee. Just kidding. :)

She should have turned her phone off.

Wow, I wish I could cause some controversy on this thread, but I agree with everyone here. Why in the world was her phone on, and why would she answer it at that moment? Nice try on her part to try to place the blame on you, but no cigar!

at least it wasn't during the part where the minister says "Is there anyone here who knows of just cause these two shouldn't be married?"

No way not your fault! She should have had her cell phone off or on vibrate. Sounds like she was embarrassed and you got the blame. Sorry.

I have totally been in your friend's shoes before, but at a funeral, how horrifying. It was my fault because I forgot to turn my phone off and it is hers as well.

What a flippin idiot (her, not you)
Why did she have it on her, and why in the world did she answer.

I wouldn't worry about it :)

It's not your fault. She should've turned her ringer off and why did she even answer it?
She answered it to make it stop ringing, but it rang 5 times on my end before she picked up. :scared:

And I am not in the least bothered by this at all... well no, wait, I do feel bad that the wedding video that will now have this loud ringing at some key part. I sure hope the couple and their familys also have a sense of humor. It sucks that it happened.

But I am highly amused at her blaming ME :lmao:

(and part of me hopes one of the guests rat finks her out, is that so wrong of me lol)

not only is it not yours but I would be angry at HER for taking it out on you! send her this thread!!!! and maybe she will come to her senses!!! So you should turn off a phone in a movie theater and a resteraunt but not an important wedding?
