Seriously, don't be embarrassed.

My first road test I failed MISERABLY. Like, I don't even think I can explain how much I messed up on. I was so nervous, and I had never really practiced, and it was all just a giant mess.

The guy giving me the test actually asked if I wanted to get out of the car so that he could drive back. THAT'S how bad I did.

And I never cry in front of people, but I started sobbing alone in the car with this random man. I was just like, "I SWEAR I can do this, I'm just so sorry, you must think I'm the stupidest person ever!" I feel bad for the guy, he was just like, "Uh, well, I mean, it's okay, you can take it again..."

But yeah, the experience was humiliating and really emotionally draining, but now I look back at it and it's something me and my friends can laugh about (I mean, making a left into the WRONG LANE? Really?!)

But don't let it bring you down, and don't feel bad about getting so emotional about it. Like I said, I really never respond super emotionally to anything, but that really made me break down. It's just a really strong mix of emotions. Good luck on your next test, I'm sure you'll do great!

I was so scared about my license test. Sitting and waiting my turn to go and drive with an instuctor was torture. I was shaking and near hysterics before even hitting the road, so I don't know what I would have done if I failed. More than waterworks would have been involved that's for sure.
So I don't judge your reaction at all. I probably would have done the same or worse. Our test luckily didn't involve parallel parking or I would have failed for sure!

Awww! I'm so sorry that happened!

Honestly, you WILL get your license eventually. It took me FIVE attempts at the driving portion before I finally passed and got mine. And you wanna know why? NERVES! I get soooooo scared in stressful situations like that. Add that to the fact that I am SUPER!SHY! around people I don't know and you get a person that is a mere inches away from having a nervous breakdown.

The day I finally passed tho, I was SO tired of taking that test that I told myself "You kow what? YOU. CAN. DO. THIS. Do it once, pass, and you won't have to take it again for a very long time, if ever at all." So then I was in SUPER!determined mode, got in that car, and passed. =D


Just don't do what I always did and get yourself all freaked out before your even in the car, and you'll do just fine!

All I can say is .. Thank goodness I live in Florida where they don't require parallel parking

Still to this day, I hate parallel parking! I mean, I can do it, but I definitely can say it aint pretty!
