We have been to Disney before as a family and always stayed offsite. A friend and I are planning on going for a short trip in December. Called today and reserved a rroom at All-Star Music. Decided to change it and ask for Movies about an hour later. Was surprised to hear that we were booked in the Sports Complex. She booked me into the Movies. Glad I called back! Am anxious to see if there truly is a "Disney Difference" before planning our next family vacation.

We stayed at Movies during June 2001 in the Dalmatians section. We loved it. The themeing is great!

Just a hint, while you are there, check out the moderates also. Hop on a bus to get there. The deluxes are nice but we prefer the relaxed atmosphere at cbr and por. We are staying 3 days at all stars and hear it is crowded and gets a little crazy with kids but it should be fun.

I was very happy with ASMo. And planning a Disney trip is fun too!
Welcome to the addict -- er guest club. ;)

We stayed in tha Mighty Ducks section last time. Quiet area, with its own pool, though it lacks the splendor of Fantasia, Toy Story and Dalmatians sections.

I stayed at the Sports and promised myself I'd never do it again. We were right in front of a pool and it was N O I S Y !! At 3:30 AM I had to call the lobby to report some screamers that woke us up. They took care of it right away and for the rest of our stay we had no more complaints, but it is something to keep in mind regarding the AS resorts: They are BUSY!
