I have booked a trip to DLP! Actually, I am going to France with my husband, who will be there for work meetings. We have 2 days in Paris, then 2 days in Lille, then we decided to spend 2 days at Disneyland. We are staying at Hotel l'Elysee Val d' Europe while we are visiting Disney. Has anyone here stayed at this hotel. All the reviews I have read say it's a pretty good place to stay, but I'd love some reviews from fellow Disers as well.
I'm a little nervous, as this is my 1st trip overseas (I'm in the USA). We will be using the trains and subways to get around, and don't speak French. Should I expect a difficult time with this, or is it easy enough for english speaking firsttimers to get around? Any advice is welcome! I'm so excited and cannot wait to see the differences in DLP from DL in California and WDW in Florida! Any must sees? Thanks!!

Congratulations on booking! :wizard: When is your trip?

No need to be nervous - you'll manage fine on the trains/metro etc even without speaking any French although a little French ie bonjour, bon soir, merci, au revoir etc is appreciated.

I'd say one must-see is the resident dragon under the castle, also the beautiful stained glass windows in the upstairs gallery. I also love Cinemagique in the Studios.

I appreciate the advice. We leave September 8th and come home September 17th

Congrats on the booking, hope you have a great time:goodvibes
