Well I didn't want to do it but I cancelled my ADR for March because there still is no confirmation from WDW that it is part of the DDP. I really wanted to keep it, I think the kids would of enjoyed it and we had never been before
but I can't take the chance and end up with no ADR for that night. I instead booked Rose and Crown and hoping to get a outside table to watch Illuminations. Hopefully it won't be under renovations in March. If I'm not mistaken it went under rehab last March we were there.

I know how you feel :sad2:

We have a Teppan Edo adr for our last night. My kids are so looking forward to this meal. We are waiting until December 1st before we give up hope and make an adr somewhere else :sad1: . (Hopefully there will still be something else available!)

We did teppan edo on the dining plan, and we enjoyed it. They found some ketchup for my 6 yr old to dip his meat in. THere was more food than we could eat, though the appetizers were on the small side. The deserts were excellent also.

I'm waiting for Dec 1, because that's when the dining CM suggested I call back for a final answer. I did change Tutto Italia already because I wasn't all that attached to trying that one, but I'm keeping Tokyo Dining and Teppan Edo until we know for sure that it won't be on the plan.

Ack!! What is this?? Is there a chance they are taking Tepan Edo off the dining plan? Please tell...we have ADR's for two weeks from now.

Teppan Edo is questionable for the dining plan in 2008. If your trip is in 2007, you're fine.

I would suggest booking Teppan Edo for lunch and wait to see if it goes on the plan. That way you have both Rose and Teppan. The menu for lunch for Teppan is the same for dinner. Then you can cancel whichever one you want when you get more info about if it is on the plan or not.

excellent idea!!! :thumbsup2

I booked Teppen Edo for our April trip, but I used my wife's maiden name to book another restaurant at the same time if Teppen Edo doesn't make the DDP in 2008. I'll just cancel the ressie if it isn't on the plan in '08.

But, we are keeping our fingers tightly crossed!!

I made ressies this morning and CM confirmed Teppan Edo is on 2008 dining plan. :cool1: That will be our first dinner on arrival day. We may grab a snack or CS that afternoon depending on the time we arrive. But I'm really looking forward to this restaurant as is DD11 (will be 12 at that point).

Wonderful news! We are thinking about the dining plan, but were going to keep our May adr for this place either way. I'm glad to hear they are going to keep it on the 2008 plan! We have an ADR on Mother's day there :) (my mom and dad are coming with my husband and I for our trip)

I would double check on that. I called yesterday too and they said it still isn't confirmed. Until Disney officially announces it, I'd question it.
