Well, I Curved today - anyone else???

I have been making it to Curves 3x a week lately and that makes me very happy! :) Our Curves just got the 12th machine in so we really get a workout. The owner has decided not to keep the double-back, but will have triple-back on tuesdays & fridays. I did it on friday and it is quite a workout!! I can still feel it..lol!

I am very happy with myself that I am sticking with this form of exercise. I have not been weighing or measuring myself so I don't know my progress. I just know that I am feeling better and that's what counts.

Way to go Jill! I'll be going to Curves this afternoon - I've been trying to get there 3x a week also. I also feel better when go often!
 
We got our 12th machine late last week, and BOY could I feel it on Friday after working out on Thursday night!

We're closed today (Victoria Day here in Canada), so I will go tomorrow night after the Fun Fair at school.

Good for you! Curves has a way of making you feel good about yourself! It is a very nurturing place to go!
 

Triple-back is when you do the machines three times while going around the circuit only once. So instead of moving ahead all the time you end up going back. Example - you do one machine. Then you move to a square. Then you move back to the same machine. Up to the square. Back to the same machine. Then the square. Then the next machine. And so on. Sounds confusing but you do get the hang of it. The workout is more intense since you are using the same machine - and same body parts - three times at once instead of waiting to do the entire circuit.

The double-back was the same but only doing each machine twice. People didn't like it because it was hard to get your third circuit in. I liked it because I ended up doing the double-back twice which meant I did each machine 4 times.
 
My DD & I went today...she has a 3 month student special membership...trying to lose that "freshman 15."

Then we stayed for abdominals. We also did a 2 mile "power walk" and 20 minutes of ergometer, so we feel like we've been extra good today.
 
I went today. I didn't get to work out as hard as usual because I pulled a muscle in my arm this weekend...I'm trying to be gentle with it so I don't do it more harm. But even an easy day at Curves is waaaay better than no exercise at all, right? ;)
