I turned 40 on November 17th and it was a blast ~ give yourself a party and enjoy yourself ~ what's the alternative ?????

I had a friend who died at age 38 ~ two years ago and so I decided to celebrated life with all my friends and laughter!!!

Don't worry about forgetting things, I have already been doing that for a while now. According to my kids old age has set in fast or did they say I was driving too fast, I can't remember. Boy, that makes me feel good. (Even though I know there only kidding, I think!)

Liz - At least you don't get to spend yours the way I spent mine..... I pretty much puked most of my 40th birthday weekend.... #2 was a rough pregnancy and I was only 5-6 months along!

Each year means that you earn a few more "gray badges of courage". You can't see them in all that blond hair, though - I should know.

Don't be giving us blonds too bad of a "moment" name.... Now where did I put my plate of Holiday Chocolate Cherry Bourbon Balls....
