Morning, everyone! Cold here, too--woke up to 12 degrees and in the last 2 1/2 hours, it's managed to climb all the way up to 15!! Gonna have a big heating bill next month, I'm afraid.

Elaine, I've got my fingers crossed for Aug. 9th, too! I see it's not winning by much, but..........

Debbie, have to agree on how nice it is when the boss is not in the office! Stay warm, girl!

Jennifer, I think 5 degrees is a good reason to keep the girls home. Ya'll cozy up by that fire and toast some marshmellows!

I am keeping my fingers crossed too about the 9th as well. That actually works better for me anyway. I see that Patrick Con in Chicago might be the weekend AFTER the 4th I was thinking that I finally would be okay and not have to take a day off to go to Chicago. So it would be nice to space a few of these meets out more too. We'll see I just keep hoping that Bernie closes the polls soon I saw that a few other Ya Ya's were interested in his meet as well. That's so cool! I'd love to see you all there too if possible But things will work out for the best, I know!!

Michele, I missed your post about your cold. Use Zicam either nasal swabs or spray. It does an excellent job of keeping colds away! It really helped keep one that I usually get around the holidays down to less than a week of terrible feeling... this is a cold I get every several years and it hits me for about 2 weeks. Like the flu but not quite as I never get a fever Check that stuff out, it is good!!

Stay warm everyone!! I heard that in my area this is the coldest and snowiest January we've had in a long time!! I hope that everyone also gets well... I hate hearing about how people are not feeling well

ARRRRRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

I just spent over 2 hours in the car trying to get to work. There was a fire on the main road to my office, and it was blocked. Of course all my 'secret' short cuts were packed. This normally takes 25 minutes after I drop off bubble boy. It was 2+ hours.

Just popped in to say hi! DH & I are getting ready to go out to lunch.

Got 2 Spongebob Bed In A Bag sets for 2 of my boys for $12.48 each!! I am psyched!!
They will be so happy when they get home from school and see them.

Throat is getting worse, but headache is gone. Got a bit of a stuffy nose. ICK.

Nancy, your post reminded me that I forgot something while skimming... I have had vegemite once and I must admit that is the last time I will be eating it. I don't know if the initial smell turned me off or what, but I couldn't eat it. My friend brought some back from Aus. when she went... apparently she wasn't fond of it either. I have heard it is something you either like or hate, with no real in between.

Sorry I have been kind of scarce. With all the meet talk I just didnt feel I had any imput so I stayed quiet.

My stomach has been doing okay but guess who came in the office today with full blown stomach flu??? MY BOSS!!!! Just what I need! I am trying to stay away from him and have been lysoling everything he even remotely comes in contact with. I wont even open his office door without a tissue in my hand. I just dont need to get this thing. WHY do people come in sick?? I mean I know he is a doctor but we could have always rescheduled patients. I cant imagine what will happen if both my coworker and I get this. Hes gonna be in a mess if we are both out because we are the only two that run the office.

Deb YIKES on the commute today. I ran into that a couple of times when I worked a distance from where I live. Now I only work about six blocks from home so I dont run into that anymore.

Well ya'll...I got a pm from Beccy saying she is not going to be able to make it to the meet. Soooo....I asked GP to change the clipart this morning and he very graciously did so...thanks GP!!! You're a sweetie!!! When he pmd me the revised edition he had resized it for clipart...what a pal!!! so all ya need to do is copy the one in my sig to have the updated version!
Now that Beccy is not going, that leaves me short some money since I split the cost of the downpayment between 7...and now there are only 6. Let's let that be for a little while and see if somebody else committs...then they can just pay me Beccy's share.

Jodie--I am still keeping the faith, not to worry, just gotta convince the DH, and find someone to take DS for the weekend.

And you know what, I don't care if it is 30 degrees in WDW, I will be there, in the magic, and it will be fine. I was just bound and determined to fit everything in 'X' pieces of luggage. I have already caved, and pulled another duffel down from the attic, so it will be fine!!!!!!

I'm with you Debbie!!! It doesn't matter what the temp is (Hey....the high was 15 today! It could be 30 and I would think it was a heat wave!) But packinging is going to be interesting. Actually, I have made the supreme decision...one bag carry on, one bag checked....if we don't have it.....we buy it there!

Hope everyone had a good day. I would complain about the cold weather here (around 40 degrees here today w/ a cold front coming thru), but since it's below zero in the north, I'll take our toasty temps.

Well that stinks.

Life is dull here, got up, drove to school, worked out, ate lunch, worked on yearbook, came home. Yippee yahoo.
