Now for some Ya Ya business:

It has come to my attention that a certain MI Ya Ya (Jennifer) mentioned that I sent her a pm requesting the clock but forgot to give her my email address. I believe she may have given the impression that I am senile.

My side of the story is this: Since Ms. jldriscoll accused me of stealing last night, I wanted to find out just how resourceful she was. You must understand that being an Elder Ya Ya isn't just because of age (quit laughing) but because of our resourcefulness. I merely pointed out to Jodie how to easily get the Ya Ya DISmeet siggie and Ms. Jennifer seemed to be upset. Well, I now know what she is made of. She is made of good stuff but she still needs some training before she can be an Elder. Nice going Jennifer. You will be a great Elder Ya Ya in the future.

Imagine trying to infer that Betty Sketty is forgetful. I might just forget to bring bourbon slushies to the cabin.

I would like to propose the following menu for one of the meals at the cabin. Those of you that will be there in spirit can also make this at home.

MENU

-Bourbon Slushies
-Cheetos Salad (cheetos served in a salad bowl)
-Betty Sketty Spaghetti (someone else will have to drain the spaghetti, because you all know what happens when I drain)
-Some type of varment meatballs (in honor of Pam)
-Smoothie dessert (of course one of Jodie's recipes)

We should eat these with our special Dream Forks. (make note to self to find lime green forks)

or do us Ya Yas have a color of our own that will compliment limegreen ?



So should we have Ya Ya colors?

In honor of the 70's, we could use limegreen and deeppink or limegreen and bright yellow.

I hear snickering out there from younger Ya Yas. I know you were not alive in the 70's but limegreen was a hot color way back then.

Hi Marilyn! I've been here, sorta, kinda... Oh man....if putting up with his face means one needs therapy, I'm in SORRY shape aren't I?! Yeah yeah, okay...old news, I know.

Am actually thinking of going downstairs and cooking dinner. Gads...I really am bored!!! Someone stop me before it's too late. The smoke alarm hasn't gone off in weeks, I'd really hate to break that trend now and besides, it's too cold and rainy to open the doors and windows tonight.

Lime Green and Purple reminds me a little of Mardi Gras. But...I know we could find Plastic Cutlery and plates, and napkins, etc at the party store in the right colors.

Im sitting here having a margarita. I figure both the alcohol Im drinking and the lysol Ive been spraying around might help. UGH. Did someone mention Jimmy Buffett? I am a Parrot-Headed Ya Ya. Can't drink Margaritas (bad tequila experience in college) but love him love him love him.

I think Margarita therapy to ward off the flu is a wonderful idea. I will just make mine a Malibu and Pineapple.
