That was a very considerate thing for him to do Debbie! It's nice to hear stories like that. So often people are so busy in their own little world anymore, they forget to look outside their box where they might possibly see someone they can encourage, help or just give them a smile that would help to make their day. I received a nice compliment from a checker at a grocery store yesterday... little things like that can really brighten our day.

Thank you thank you Jodie!!! The girls love them!!! And think Auntie Jodie is the greatest! Much like stitch they have not been put down since we opened the box. I love the pin too! I now have 2 mickey state pins....hmmm...do I feel a collection coming on?

Dh still hasn't hooked up the camera port, I'll get him to do it and post a picture!!!

Sounds like we are forming a plan Bonnie! Later is better for me.... Dh doesn't have to take the whole day off. Plus I'll bring 3 reference for your dh stating I am NOT an ax murderer!

Yep. I think you should either: a) have some really cold weather or b) go somewhere cold so you can use them.

And just so you all know about my office.... Remember the episodes of Home Improvement where Tim made the "Man's Bedroom", the "Man's Kitchen" and all? Well, that's the inspiration for my office. Soon I'll never have to leave here. Well, I still have to install the grill, fridge, bathroom, closet, bed/sleeping area...... Ok... so I have a *loooonnnnggggg* way to go.

Unless ya'll want me surely to end up in divorce court we'd better do without the updates until this meet planning is under control!!!! Pam...check out the meet info a couple of pages back....it is in a post of mine that is rather long....oh shut up ....I know they're ALL long but this one is longer!!!

Jay's not going to the meet? I'm sorry Jay...but not surprised. It would take a very self confident woman to allow her dh to go to a cabin in the woods for the weekend with a bunch of women she didn't even know!!!! And you think our dh'd are edgy!!!! Yay!!! Debbie supported Girl Scouts today and bought some cookies!!!! Anybody want to buy my share of cookies this year??? I can't imagine having them in the house and not being able to eat them!!!! Geez...I'm going to have to lock them up!!!

Ok, Marilyn, sent again, I don't know what the problem is, it shows up as sent in my sent mail box twice, but let me know if it doesn't show up.

Rearranging furniture here. I'm starting to look at things with an eye to moving to Florida in 5 years-like-do I really want to replace this dresser now or just hold out a few more years and buy a new one in Florida? Or-should I just sell this antique rocker now, cause I know I'm not going to move it--stuff like that.

DH hasn't said much more about Hocking Hills, he's probably given up 'cause he knows if I want to do it bad enough, I'll just do it. We'll see if I can get away without petite yaya, problem is that DH works long hours on the weekend in the summer, so don't know if I'll leave her home with grandma (read-no supervision there) or not. Yes, I know, I'm an anal retentive yaya mama but I swear they need more supervision when they are teenagers than they did when they were little-way more temptations at that age. I really would prefer to leave her home, but we'll see what happens.

It is snowing here. Petite GD and I just played 3 games of Candy Land and we are now playing Sorry. Tonite a fire in the fireplace, popcorn and hot chocolate made from chocolate Nancy sent. And we are going to watch Trading Spaces (she loves that as much as me!)

Michele, you would certainly be welcome to do that, but you would then have to ride about 4-1/2 hours in the car, and we are coming back on Sunday. The closest airport would be Toledo to me. Might be easier if you flew into Columbus Friday evening early and we could swing by and pick you up, or coordinate flights with Jodie, since she is now flying. Also, Betty is driving up, she might be willing to pick you up in Cincinnati. Lots of options here.

Just let me know, we'll work it out, whatever you decide!

"Can you speak, little buddy," Marilyn breathlessly asks. Pam spits up seaweed and water, gasps and finally speaks this immoral words, "I need a ketchup!"
