I was thinking Columbus airport also. I can get a direct flight out of Midway on Southwest Airlines. I would rather leave from there than O'Hare. I think Betty offered to pick up YaYa's at the airport. Maybe we could see what the flight schedules are and arrive around the same time. And maybe Kimmie and anyone else flying in can do the same.

YaYa vacation? I take it you're not going to Cedar Point? (Did I mention that I need a ketchup? ) I can't go at the end of July - deadline and getting DS off to Philmont Scout Ranch in New Mexico. Is it feasible for me to do a one day side trip - where are you going to be?? (You know, you know - I need a ketchup! )

I have to get my butt off here and get into the bank and post office. And of course it's D-Day - I have to get all my stories written and the paper built! And take DS to the Youth Group's sled riding party.

I've been stalling in hopes that I could give a different answer, but due to a combination of things, I won't be able to attend the Ya Ya meet. I'd love to go, but between vacation days & a few other things, I'm not going to be able to swing it. I really wish I could make it. You all are going to have soooo much fun.

Time to go drown my sorrows in some breakfast now. Hmmmm.... wonder if I have any rum cake left....

Yes, we've seriously thought about staying behind once the rest of you leave. Well... I mean, let's face it...none of you like having the poor dear around, so maybe this would be best. Besides... it really is so beautiful here. Once ya'll get back to civilization, maybe you could make some arrangements for provisions to be flown out to us every 6 months or so?

Michele is feeling a little puny YaYa right now? I'm so sorry Michele... somehow I missed that earlier, so I don't know what you're dealing with, but definitely don't hesitate to go to the dr... maybe he/she could help put your mind at ease about what's going on. OMG! I am such a lazy yaya! I can't believe this, but I just got out of bed! I am always up by 7:30 at the latest, I must've have been more tired than I realized!

Jennifer, you could come to my house and ride down with me. But, I don't think that I will be staying the whole time. It depends on whether I can get off from work, because 3 weeks after that, we are going to Florida.

Depending on how mcuh vacation time I have by then, I could possibly go down Friday and come back Sunday. Even if I can't take Friday, if I could get off a little early, we could leave Friday afternoon and be down there that evening. We could even stop and get Elaine if we can convince her to come for more than one day.

Hmmm..... Mud.... Um... er.... I'll have to think about that one.
I'm doing as little as possible today. Finally trying to clean up my office here at the house. I've been putting it off for a looonnnngggg time, so today is the day. Give me a little time & I'll find something else to do that's more fun.

Good Afternoon All!!!!

Marilyn, I knew I would not be totally ON MY OWN, but I don't want y'all to hold up on anything because of me. So I shall continue my campaign, and keep you posted

Jodie and Jennifer, just wanted to let the GS Ya Ya's know I did my part, and bought 2 boxes today from the girls at the market.

It was actually very very sweet. There were 4 girls and 3 moms in the vestibule of Stop & Shop, and even though they were out of the wind, it was still c-c-c-c-c-old with the doors opening. As I was leaving the store manager came out to the moms, and said, "It is just much too cold for you girls to stay out here, I have a really nice spot for you right in front of the courtesy desk. Let's move you all inside." And...he had two of the bag boys help the girls move everything. I just thought it was so nice.

The laundry is calling me;
