Carol, the afghan is not finished. DH said I should have it done in time to use NEXT winter! The grandkids made me promise I would start on afghans for their rooms next.

I vow to never ever have another drink. I am not any better this afternoon. Im contemplating not going back to work I feel so bad. I called the doctor this morning and am waiting for him to come in the office and call me back. I cant even stand uo straight I am in such pain with my stomach.

I was so scared last night that I very nearly had dh take me to the ER. I could not control the shaking no way no how. It finally lessened a great deal and Im just a little shaky today. Last night I couldnt control my arms legs or jaw it was so bad.

I feel so badly I should be having lunch with Ryan today for his Birthday and helping him pass out his cupcakes but I just dont feel well enough to deal with a hundred or more screaming kids in the cafeteria. I am home now and just ate something in hopes it will help my stomach feel better.

Oh I am so sorry you are still feeling so bad. Definitely stay home this afternoon, and wait for the Dr. to call. Pls don't beat yourself up about missing cupcakes. You are right, you probably should not (nor want to) deal with the 'scene' in a cafeteria.

Have you tried a heating pad, or a warm towel from the dryer on your stomach? Always works wonders for me.

Are you sure you are not have a reaction to the medication itself? I realize the alcohol could have heightened the effects of the meds, but this seems pretty severe and lasting a long time. Glad you called the Dr.

And I agree with Deb, the cafeteria scene is no place for you right now. I know how you feel, but there will be lots more cupcake days.

Rest until you hear from the Dr. Do not go back to work today.

Oh man Karen...what a mess! I am so sorry you are still hurting...have to agree with Marilyn...this sounds like more than just a reaction from a drink. Does your pharmacist doa cross reference to check for drug incompatabilities?? Let us know what the doc says ok? HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO RYAN!!!!

Been a great day so far in Dreamville!!!! IT"S SNOWING!!! WooHOOOO!!!! And I didn't even have to wear my jammies inside out! Annnnd....I worked at the elementary school this morning...the first person I see said "Wow Jodie...you've lost a lot of weight!!!" OOOKKAAYYYY!!!! THEN...since the clothes are beyond baggy at this point, I wen to the mall and bought a new pair of jeans....one size smaller!!!! That's 2 sizes down since November ya'll!!! OOOOKKKKAAYYYY!!!! THEN...I went to TDS and got a sweatshirt...half off...it had Tinkerbell on the front and says "Making a little magic"...is that cute or what? Nice to share good days too huh?

OK, question everyone. For the YaYa meet....am I correct that I would be flying into Columbus airport? How far away from the airport are the places we are looking at? Can I "cab it" to the lodge of choice?

Thanks Marilyn! I would like to know the flight info too...but do we have a definate date? The last date I suggested and got no nay votes was July 25, 26th, 27th, 28th. This accomodates Jennifer and her birthday conflict and Bonnie with work. I think the only way to do this is to vote ...so let me hear em!!! Remember, I am writing all of this down so there is somebody keeping track!!! As far as place...did we decide on a lodge in a state park? Again...let me hear your votes between amusement park (there were lots who didn't like this one), lodge in a state park and something like mall of America. Once we get date and location we can all start making plans....and plea bargains with our dh's . I am setting a deadline for this vote so we can get this show on the road!!!Deadline for getting your votes in for meet details...Saturday, Jan.18th!!!

OK, here's my moth chiming in.

First, those dates are fine with me. Second, I am definately leaning toward a large cabin. A lot of pretty ones to choose from. Maybe we could find one where there are other things to do and restaurants near by, but, how do we drive to the restaurants? (If you think I am eating Kim's cooking there, think again ladies ) I think, and correct me if I am wrong here, that there aren't very many of use that are roller coaster freaks. Although, are there a lot of other rides at Cedar Point also? Where the YaYa's lead, I shall follow.

OK Ya Yas...that's 2 votes for cabin/lodge close to a restauant!. I don't know about Ohio, but some of the bigger state parks here in Va. have restaurants on site...so ya walk to dinner and walk back...something to think about!

Snow is all gone! Bummer...but the norm! They are calling fo rbigger stuff on Friday though....what was it you were saying about htose jammies Marilyn?

I vote OK to July 25-28 and for the lodge/cabin thing (preferably in the Hocking Hills region)

Karen, I hope your Dr. gets back to you really soon. I'm sure the stress this is causing is only adding to your pain! Weren't you starting the Buspar this week? Could be that your metabolism just can't handle it or the combo with the Reglan. Gentle {{{{{{HUGS}}}}}} from me, too, along with some pixie dust ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~~* and prayers. Hope it passes SOON!!!!!!

Marilyn, I would venture a guess that none of the lodges/cabins I've seen so far are within cab distance from the airport. However, my bet is that one or more of the local Ya Yas will either provide airport "shuttle service" or we will set up a designated location to get a cab to where you CAN get picked up. Another option is for several Ya Yas to meet at the airport and split the cost of a rental vehicle. Same as I plan to pick up a goodly share of the gas cost (and driving, if necessary) if Jodie is picking me up in the Dreammobile. Don't worry, we'll figure something out once we decide on a definite place.

Nutsy--I am the Ya Ya lifeguard. You can swim when I am on duty. Othrwise, you must stay in the roped off shallow wading area. I can't have my Ya Ya's getting swept out to sea.

The doctor called me back at work. I went back for awhile today but left about 3:15. I dont even want to tell you what he said or you would have to cheeto him. Im not happy at all. I guess from now on I will just put up and shut up because I will not do what he is suggesting. I dont need it. Its not a test or a med its another doctor.

Beth I havent started the Buspar yet because Ive had such side effects from the Reglan.
