Where have I been the past month? Just crazy busy. I'll be honest, I haven't even had time to follow this thread in a long time. It's just been nuts in my life lately. So please take whatever of these statements that apply to you from me:

So where have I really been these past weeks? You decide:

You don't want to know where I've been the past few weeks. I got stuck on a boat on It's A Small World for the past month or so. I just couldn't get off. I have that song playing over and over in my head.

No wait. That's not it. Here's the real story. Pam's husband kidnapped me. He locked me in a basement in some house somewhere in the country, and forced me to clean all of Pam's roadkill. It was a nasty, nasty job. I'll never get the fur from our of my fingernails!

I've spent the past month sitting at a bar stool at Jellyrolls 24/7. That's home to me

Seriously, I've just been busy. Just life in general craziness, and some days I don't even want to look at the DIS! LOL. Hopefully things will slow down (at least for a bit).

I went to New York a couple of weeks ago to see Saturday Night Live and Regis and Kelly. You can read about it on this thread.

I'm still researching and looking for a place to live, although not quite ready to buy yet--we still have to work on getting our house ready to sell.

I'll try to pop in more often. I miss you all, and hope you are all doing well!

Kimmie, that is super weird! Though I am glad I teased you (with no real good reason) because now I will wonder if I am missing more! I'll have to test that one some time soon!

I'm like you, I'd rather stay in denial of things like ADD for me. At least at this point in my life. Kind of like dyslexia... I found out when I was in HS/College... by the time it was told to me, I figured there was nothing to deal with. Not worth really dealing with.

Wanted something warm and chocolaty... sadly I am out of chocolate chips. Luis liked my concoction, but it didn't satisfy my desires. Oh well *sigh*

Busy here, too. Latest drama in my life involves my poor DH--he cracked one of his back molars right up thru the root and they couldn't save it. Took him for oral surgery today, so he's not too chipper at the moment. Looks kinda like he has the mumps on one side! It seems that Dave has the same problem I do--his teeth and sinuses are connected--doc had to do some repair work on the sinus once the tooth came out. Aftercare paperwork says "No sneezing or blowing of the nose for at least 3 days..." because of the stitches. Now, how do you keep yourself from sneezing??!!!

Wow, Karen is getting ready to do some house shopping and Liz already has! Love new houses!

Maybe we should form a support group for ourselves--I recognize a lot of the classic ADD symptoms in myself too. Kimmie, you are not alone!

Nancy, I don't know that I'd be able to sleep knowing that mouse got away. Funny, my DD raised mice in a cage for quite some time when she was in high school and those didn't bother me. But the one that ran across my bed, when I was in it, sure did!! Hope those mouse hunters of yours do their job soon!

Ack!! Paula, gets to deal with THE PROM from the fella's side. Glad to hear Chris recognized his need to earn the $$ for it. Marked improvement in school, haircut, serious about a job.....sounds like he may have turned the right corner!!

Gotta go mash some eggs for Dave. Doc said soft foods so he wants egg salad. Hope ya'll have a great evening, what's left of it!

I don't have it in me to type it all again...so in a nutshell, and what Karen said.....

But to answer a few specific questions....Nancy, do come join us....and anybody for tht matter! Lily, Amanda and I will be on Columbus on March 31 - April 2. We will be doing the Columbus Distance Classic half marathon. It should be a great time. Lainey, thanks for the offer on a place to stay, but I think we are all good. Lily was able to score our room for an extra night...but if we all don't fit... we will definately keep you in mind.

Who asked about the house? We are building a 2200 sq. ft. ranch. It has a very cottage look on the outside and a very open on the inside. We picked out wood floors in Coffee throughout...except for the bedrooms, which will be carpeted and the bathrooms will be ceramic. Our kithen cabinets will be done in mainly Vanilla Bean, with the island being done in Chocolate on cherry cabinets. It really looks very nice together. And sad to say...no we did not build the house around the faucet....although that does sound like something Greg might do!!Heck, maybe even me!!!! I am so excited about the basement and the guest bedroom, I can't hardly stand it. Now I will have a place for my mom.....and for all of you thinking I was talking about the guest bedroom.... you were thinking right!!

Anyway, off to feed a hungry puppy now...I guess nobody is going to get any sleep here this morning!

The movie was pretty bad....as the reviews said. Johnny did a great job, just a strange storyline and terrible filming IMHO. Johnny looked GOOD through the first part and then incredibly bad during the last....pained me to look at him
