John, I know a few will forward to cell phone, but that isn't something Luis is willing to do. I have a tendency to talk on the phone a lot so that would be a good way to waste minutes Luis kind of refuses to switch until TW (who we would use due to package deals) will give us the UPS/battery back up. Then again the vonage quote here isn't really any cheaper than our all in one with AT&T. So we're not rushing to switch

Our cable is switching over to Time Warner from Adelphia, so I checked into their digital phone service. Apparently they want $40 a month and you have to pay extra for voicemail. Sheesh. I'm already paying $40 a month for a land line (which Sue refuses to give up).

Still keeping my fingers crossed that Vonage will install service in our little town so that I can stick it to the man.

is this a typo or the way they decribe it??? Becareful with those internet phone things I've heard that calling 911 is difficult and the calls can't be traced. (that was a few months ago I heard that, it may have changed by now!)

wow you all have been mothy while my liquid diazapam has been wearing off!!! Man that's good stuff!!! knocked me out and I missed the entire dental appt. apparently I was a good girl!

now I have to go get my car and go to bowling!! I will blame the meds if I can't bowl tonight!! heheheheh

OMG, we just got back. I decided (after running a couple errands) to stop at the elementary school parking lot and have Jonathan drive around. He did really good, considering it was the first time ever behind the wheel. Junior will have to do the majority of teaching, though.....I'll be too nervous and don't have a bit of patience.

I do believe I did touch his boxers though helping out looking for the sizing of the things. I really did go beet red realizing I was helping him find undies I just never want to know when he wears them!

Tara, I seem to recall them adding a feature for 911 so that they can track the location of the phone. Though I imagine that wouldn't work if the thing was portable... as I was informed it was a software feature that went to 911's database or something like that. Not sure if all companies offer it though. I don't really listen to the VOIP stuff that much since I don't like the quality yet

John, that would be an amazing price. Here it starts off at $25/month not including v/m. At least that is what the last add said that we got. Not worth it if we aren't really saving in the long run. We have unlimited LD here on our phone and the prices run the same across the board at the moment.

Just stopping in for a quick eieio post. It's still been very crazy for me. I've spent much of the past couple of weeks furniture shopping, and I finally bought my living room furniture.

I got a La-z-boy reclining sofa in a soft, textured blue fabric. It's very comfortable. Just a basic recliner.

I was going to get a reclining chair to go with it, but then I decided to go with an accent chair that would complement the couch. And I picked out this chair.

You can't really tell from the picture, but there is some blue in the chair. It looked really nice with the fabric I picked out for the couch.

The sales clerk is going to call to see if she can either get me some throw pillows, or some fabric to make throw pillows to put on the couch. Anyone want to make me some pillows

California was a blast! I really liked San Francisco...it's such a beautiful place!

Don't know why everyone knocks DL! I thought it was equally as wonderful as MK!! Saw Jack Sparrow walking around New Orleans Square and had to do a double take!! It looked soooo much like Johnny Depp! When I tried to take a picture, he gave an aloof look and wondered off! Took a picture later on during the week, but that Jack Sparrow wasn't quite as good! I'll try to post a pic when I go to Kimmar's. Oh yeah, WHERE'S MY TP???

DL is cool. I went there for the first time last October. I was surprised by just how small the buildings on Main Street were. I really liked the rides they have there that they do not have at Disney World. I am hoping to go back next spring.

I did really appreciate the picture of Orlando above though. That's the type of look I like best on him. While I love his leather coat in PotC2, I really do like him best in Kingdom of Heaven.

Karen, woo hoo for the shopping and finding furniture! That was always a really hard thing for me to do. Hope you can get throw pillows to match or at least make some (it's not all that hard to do)

Welcome back Judie!!!! I personally like DL but I can see how some can say it doesn't do as favorably compared to the WDW as a whole. I do think the DtD area at DL is far superior and of course PotC and IASW there are just awesome! I just don't like how cramped DL is, though they did a great job with DCA (width of paths that's all). I also don't feel quite so secluded at DL as I do at WDW. I can see why Walt was disappointed in the area. BUT I'd love to go back there and maybe some day I will. I'm just waiting for more DVC options to open up there

Sherry, I just saw a thread out on the CB about being sad to watch your kids grow up. Is it a sad thing or are you just shocked? I swear though, you do not look old enough to be the mom of a 16 year old!!!! Wow! What are the plans for his b-day?

I should start getting ready. I am going to see PotC2 with my dad at 10:30 and then I get to relax and find all my beads before I head out tonight. The group I knit with is doing some beading thing tonight and I haven't touched that kind of stuff in years!

Hi all....

The heat wave has finally passed!! It realy got the best of me yesterday - it was close to 90 degrees in the house all day (for those of you that are wondering - no I do not have A/C - have never lad it in fact). I may have gotten a bit of heat stroke because by last night I was really feeling poorly and having difficulty concentrating. I was able to sleep pretty well last night and ready to "regroup" today.
*** and the morning picture postings certainly didn't hurt!!! THANK YOU!!!!

Morning gang,

bowling was crappy last night! I got a 127 (4 below my average...not bad), a 146 (15 above my average...not bad), and a ...... 100 (31 below my average....really bad!). My team lost all the points and now we are in 2nd place. That i don't really care about but i was miffed that I couldn't get my average in at least 2 games! oh well!! i did have a giant Hersheys' Ice cream sandwhich! yumm!!

Elaine...yes I am bad and I know it!! I've got my handbasket all picked out too!!

Sherry...wow on the 16 year old learning to drive. Tho I do have to say my oldest is a very good driver...he drives me up the wall, crazy, to drink, and a few other places

Karen...great deal on the chair and couch. Have fun decorating your new place. That is something i would love to be able to do someday...right now I'm living on the things we've had forever!

Kimmar...the dirty naked guy doesn't do much for me, nor does the dude with the funky thing on his head!!

Judi...welcome back! Glad you enjoyed DL. The last time i was at DL was for the 30th anniversary and it was July...i guess we were there for the actual bd and they were open for two days straight and you got to stay the whole time once you were in! It was pretty cool...we didn't stay tho!!
