This is what I came home to today...

Apparently today during school when they were cutting out a skelton he decided to cut off his "horns"! unfortunately his horns are on the back of his head and not in the front... dang fool!
So do I shave his head or do I leave him with these 3 divits in his head and let him explain to strangers why he has such a lousy haircut?? I'm thinking I'm going to let him suffer for a few days before I cut it!!

Oh and one other picture i thought i would share is his birthday cake from sunday...it was really pretty.

Tara I would say don't shave his head, but maybe buzz cut it a wee bit shorter. So it fades in a little more. OMG, that is too funny though. I remember my sister cut her eyelashes once. I don't remember why she did, but they sure looked funny for a while

The boys need their game boys for daycare tomorrow-I'm bringing them at 6am! Soooo, of course, Kevin had left his in the inlaw's minivan. What's the answer? Drive to lakeland? No, invite them over to dinner so they can bring the gameboy! Dinner was good-and we ended up cracking open two bottles of wine, which always makes a good evening better.

back in the afternoon tomorrow. Should probably hit the sack here soon.

He came down from Hilton Head, SC last weekend. He is very sweet, very much a gentleman BUT 2 1/2 hrs away! Figures! However, the most interesting message from the personals I received lately was from "bored mike" in Brunswick, LOL! No pic in his profile. But, he wanted me to be his "secret" special friend and wanted someone to spoil NOT! I'm sure we can all interrupt what HE was looking for: DELETE!

Luis and I have been up a while. We were both tired and went to bed early, so we were up rather early too. I think we are hitting a place called Gordon Food Services today to see if they will replace our need for Sam's Club

Oh and Tara, I forgot to say that happened to my brother when he got a buzz cut for a 3 week hiking trip. The guard on the clippers fell off. So they buzzed it shorter than they wanted to and it all grew back okay.

I'm off to bug Luis on his computer now

Nancy, GFS is a store that sells in bulk food items. I usually use Sam's for mostly meats and that's it, so this was a good place for us.

Sherry, I agree, some things GFS is more expensive on, other things, GFS beats Sam's by far. Chicken is one of them! I don't buy a lot of pre-made foods, and those I notice Sam's is a wee bit cheaper with. Meat quality is better at GFS from what I can see though. Sam's is pick and choose. So for $100 we walked out with about 5 months worth of meet that we consume. We just can't justify using Sam's Club anymore for what we did thanks to GFS.

LOL, Rose Mary, if I could really get you a clone of Luis, I would. Sadly his brother isn't even close to him. My dad is available, but a bit too old and too far Otherwise all the single guys I know are here as well and a couple aren't worth it

Kimmie, I do read fast, but I admit three of the books (Nora Roberts was it?) went quickly. The slowest for me was a toss between Mirror, Mirror and The time traveler one. Both didn't do very well with me. I just started the last one last night.

Sherry, sorry about the tummy... hope the ankle feels better so you won't have to keep upsetting the stomach.

Turns out we have plans for the night. So I need to make sure I am "swim suit worthy" At least when it comes to shaving and decide what I feel like wearing tonight.

The slowest for me was a toss between Mirror, Mirror and The time traveler one. Both didn't do very well with me

... Mirror Mirror was just... odd. Okay I will admit it was imaginative, clever, unusual etc... but maybe a bit too much so. Time Traveler's Wife was beautifully written and props to her for keeping what could have been a confusing story line, very clear and concise, but... I don't do sad very well. That one was just too sad for me.

Well I'm off to play with paint chips and carpet samples.

I think the author did an awesome job of keeping everything on track and all that. Part way through the book though, I knew it was going to be a sad ending and in a bad way. That made it slow going. I was pissed when I figured it out. The 2nd half (or whatever) of the book wasn't going well after that. It was her 13th birthday I think when she heard his voice calling her name and I knew what happened to him because of her dad and brother. That's when I figured it out. I dont' like sad either. I saw it all coming at the end and still bawled. Silly me

Off to put lotion on my poor dry skin and then we have to head to the store before going out. Should be a fun night with friends and swimming

evening gang,
too tired for a real ketchup. Helped my db clean the gutters tall ladders! And then had to clean up that mess. Then I planted all of our tomatoes, peppers, and cucumbers. Then i raked up 4 bags of leaves, and did some other odds and ends around the yard. man was I pooped.

After a rest on the couch I tried to cross stitch but ethan was up so that was out. So I ended up playing a couple of games of Sorry with jarrod. We had a nice time.

Tomorrow is the annual Mother's Walk for the March of Dimes. We have to be at the beach by 845 ack! I have to get two kids and myself up and ready by then. After the walk I get to come home and bake a cake and then deocrate it for my bowling banquet for tomorrow evening.

So i'm gonna hit the hay and i'll try and stop in tomorrow if I get the chance!
