That great rateis not available during our trip time, its the last 2 weeks of Jan and first 2 of Feb but whenever I see a great deal always want to book a mini trip. No deals for our May/june dates to be found, yet :(
Todd--nice to see you pop in. We thought you were still under the Direct tv spell :D
Elaine no snow or cold here. Although we would like to have some snow.

 Morning to all!

Who asked about a Sauna? Kristy? Gotta go back and look at that listing again. No, no sauna! Has a large whirlpool garden tub in the master bath. Boy do I miss that :( .

CS-Hope all goes well for your plans for the weekend. Stinks being far apart sometimes, doesn't it?

Ya'll make me even colder just talking about SNOW! So glad I don't have to deal with that. We only worry about wet, windy Nor'easters, Hurricanes and the like
 !

Ok, off to earn my paycheck.

Stay warm gang!

Nancy--Tv viewing is great..watching lots of movies..:D

Elaine--been fine..trying to get the basment complete...Must be nice to at least be able to look out a window...them were the good ole days...*sigh*

deena--Took a dis break & under Direct TV spell...

How is everyone else??
:wave2:

Morning yayas. My teeth look purty today. My student dentist repaired on of the bondings on a front tooth that had cracked and discolored a long time ago, along with getting some silver out of my mouth! And Kevin was an absolute angel. I bought him a toy at the Disney store to occupy him, and that toy was played with for the entire time (he ignored his leap pad). Once in a while, he'd watch what was going on and ask a few questions, but boy, he was great. Every once in a while, he'd pipe up with "I love you, Mommy" and all the student dentists would go "awww". That's my boy!

I just have two more surfaces to be repaired and a cap to go on my root canal and I'm done! Yeah. Best thing is that my insurance will probably cover 100% of the last few things. That's probably the best part of having the work done at a dental school, it's so much cheaper!

Ok, not too mothy yesterday, I should be able to ketchup quickly...

Deena, Kevin is 4 1/2. He's a very easy kid and is the family comedian!

Liz, going with a coworker for the February trip, but I might be down in March job hunting...we'll see how it goes with the February trip! :) Fortunately, DH has a job that moves anywhere. Then, anytime after I move, you can come visit me, too! Okay, so right now, I am wearing jammies, but if I wear a bra they become the loungewear. What about DH, who about lives in the same type of jammies/loungewear now? Hope you enjoyed Hairspray!

Rosemary, I'd buy the house, but it's not in Clermont, Florida, LOL!

Nancy, sounds like you're doing what I'm doing. DH will be told that my mom is out of town (we stop at her place on the gulf coast before WDW), so we head down 95 instead. Then I'll say that we should go to the Kennedy Space Center before going to Orlando. Once we're in the area, I'll say "hey, the ships are departing today, do you want to take a look?"....then once there, I'll hand him the boarding documents!

Pam- No, he didn't get a toy that was on sale, but it sure was worth the 10 bucks. It was three characters, skateboards and a skatepark, and it also got played with all night at home, too. Older son was playing with it when I got up this morning! Then he got mad that I was making him get ready for school...seems the school bus aide told the kids there would be a two hour delay this morning , due to the snow  I sent a note in that you don't tell autistic kids something that you're not sure about!

Jeannie, how bout "ya yas roadkill cafe and bed and breakfast?" Pammy's stew could be the breakfast :earseek:

Kristy, ya can't shut the clock off! Poor DH went crazy to buy this house because I said no more kids til we buy a house...yes, his clock was ticking louder...bought the house and 10 months later, Kevin arrived! :) We can't have more and STILL his clock is ticking!

Bethie, you called it...a big fat 1/2 inch of snow on the ground, and I'm 40 miles north of ya, so I have a feeling you got the 'dandruff snow' that I got last week....ahhh, Florida, here I come!

CS, that BF sounds like one busy fella. Hope you get your weekend date!

Bella, How's school going?

Deena, send that warm weather up year, willya?

Todd :wave2: That Direct TV spell can be really bad...causes DH to leave Speedchannel on during dinner. I finally had to shut off the tv and turn on the stereo (Illuminations disc from WDW) He didn't mind too much, but I feel like I live in the cult of Direct TV 'must watch tv all hours'...give me a good book anyday!

Well, the new blender is doing so well that I RIP'ed the first bottle of rum that my DH willingly helped me drink. That and the first bottle of Strawberry daquiri mix. Then I made him a hurricane, at least we still have a bit of that mix...I've had more booze since Christmas than I have had in the past year! DH will leave it alone, says I do a better job of it--I think he knows I like playing with the thing!

Of to rustle up some breakfast!

Suzanne

Wow - PoohSue is a tough act to follow................:( ;)

We had a 2 hour delay this morning - and it's still snowing.... time to break out the longjohns!!:D

Satine- nerts on the BF having to work. I sure hope you get your date soon - you have been very patient! :)

Elaine - aha! So little evil Boo is teasing you about Craigy-Poo, too!!:rotfl: Did he take your hair and run his fingers through it as he talked about "framing your face to bring out those amazing eyes of yours????":duck:

Bella - sorry about thinking about you being named Bella and having classes in a windowless basement makes me think that you're a vampire!
:earseek: Bwaaaahaaaa!! (You're not, are you?? :teeth: )

Nancy - wow - your DD goes to 2 colleges?? That's kind of unusual, isn't it??

Shep - have your OD'ed on TV???? ::yes:: :hyper:

Pam sneated ;)

She just has one class at the second college.....required, but not offered  They are so close, they do some cooperative things like that for the classes that aren't as big.

Hi YaYas! I decided I deserve a bit of a break here. I had a bit of exercise this morning while I shoveled my way out. Boys didn’t do much as it was still coming down when they were coming in for the night/morning. I was shoveling and it was still snowing those big beautiful fluffy flakes. I just shoveled a bit for some exercise, not to do much else. Then off to work I zoomed. (Yeah, traffic going about 20mph whoo hoo!)

Don’t feel bad about the basement. DS loves that. It’s always sunny and mild where he is. Now, that’s my boy--he took my line. He’s tired of his semester and that is before he even gets to start. I told him that he really needs an attitude adjustment or he’ll never survive the semester. (He’s taking 18 hours and as it’s his second semester in life, I think he’s concerned—first semester was only 12 hours.)

CS wishing you a good visit this weekend.

Suzanne and Nancy, that sounds like such fun making a surprise trip. Hope it all goes as planned.

Jeannie, don’t worry about being embarrassed. You can come here for sympathy any time.
(We’ll take care of ya. Trust us.)

Liz, glad you’re ressies are made. It is such fun as things get closer.

We have to figure out flights for our trips, let alone how we are going to gather the harvest of $$$ from the tree out back to pay for it.

We’ll probably look ahead a bit more after this weekend. We decided to stay over an extra night as we go to Middletown for the butchering Saturday. We usually stay over one night and drive back, but since weather is an issue and we are starting so early with the work DH and I decided we needed another night. So we will be driving down Friday evening.

Enough of the break, back to the mines.

My goodness, you leave for a coupe of hours and man!!! Are you all trying to catch up with Elaine's posts????? No way to kechup with all of that!!!

I must tell you, Hairsray was great!! We had great seats and the show was wonderful!! It was VERY differant than the movie, but still very good. I am glad we will be seeing it again on the 31rst...I got that for Greg for a birthday present...he is quite happy I was thinking ahead!! We are going with a bunch of people, so it should be a lot of fun.

Off to make some ps's!!! Oh the joy of planning!!!!! Greg is thinking I am getting a bit too excited about all f this (go figure, me excited) and wishes I would take it easy. To that I say, easy smeazy....WDW is my motivation....and I am NOT going through 2 cancelled trips!!! So on that note...off to do a few exercises on the old ankle!!!

Can't wait to meet the new stylist...and I am all about the Roadkill Cafe and B&B, if Pammy doesn't mind. That sounds like an awful lot of work for one of our own!!! Pammy dear, I will be happy to help ya, as this sounds like a most wonderful place to stay!!!

Off and running......

More later!!

Yep, like dandruff on the car! Didn't even bother with the brush! And what's with this 40 miles north?! You live in MD??!! and where the heck is this dental school you go to? I need a cheap dentist cuz our plan doesn't cover much of anything!

Todd really likes his satellite, doesn't he??!! :teeth: I don't have a window to look out, either and I'm on the 3rd floor! Interior offices suck :p

Nancy, the cruise surprise sounds wonderful!! You'll have a ball, for sure! Tell me about weird weather.... We have the arctic freeze, now!!

Kristy, don't give in to that clock ticking!! I did and ended up with an ADHD, Bipolar offspring. Give yourself some time.

Poor Satine!! I'm so sorry your date had to be put off yet again! At this rate, he may as well bring your Valentine too! Hope he makes it this weekend.

Rose Mary!! I looked at that listing and wondered about the sauna too!! Good grief--if the agent made that many mistakes just LISTING your house, are you sure that's who you want writing a sales contract??!! :earseek:

Deena, I know what you mean about good deals! DH and I were "suckered in" on a good deal just the other night! Star Trek Convention in Chicago in April!! I can't believe we're going!!

Laine, glad to hear you didn't get much snow! That weather map looked awful last night! We got the cold now too.

Bella is stuck in the basement?! Crummy place to be holding classes, if you ask me! Besides, don't you need to learn about lighting and all that?! I think you need to be out in the sun!!

So who else has sneated while I've been working on this?

   To all!!

Nancy, now you know how I found that Roadkill Bingo game I sent Pam in her stocking!!!

I think the Roadkill Cafe and B&B sounds great!!! The decor in the bedrooms will be fantastic--and VERY furry!!!!!

Hmmm... looks like we've picked our new home :rotfl:

Boards are slow  Makes it hard to read and catch up  Don't wanna be here either

There, done whining ;)

Elaine - aha! So little evil Boo is teasing you about Craigy-Poo, too!! Did he take your hair and run his fingers through it as he talked about "framing your face to bring out those amazing eyes of yours????"
Why as a matter of fact he did ;) :p

Nancy that is a bit odd that they require a course that they don't offer... some people at OSU did that just because Columbus State was an easier college to go to (grade wise). I Hope she has good weather :)

Lily, if you get lonely on your trip, let us know, I think a few of us would be in your area ;)

Liz, have fun making all those PS's!!!!!

Nancy, I LOVE the RKC stuff!!!

Bethie, it sounds like we got even less than you did. Hardly anything stuck at all.
