Morning, ya yas! DS is off on the bus and I'm catching up before some time with the little guy...uh oh, I hear him now. I have been at work a lot the past few days, so we're gonna have some quality time this morning. The store started a new sale this morning, so I'm taking him over to pick out a toy! He, of course, will pick one that is not on sale!
Liz, sounds like you've got your head on straight. I've got family members who get worked up, fortunately, not as bad as that! MMMn, Shula's, maybe I should rearrange my travel dates, LOL! Yeah, we like Emeril, but we like Alton even more...I always make my own essence because Emeril puts the recipe in every cookbook (we have 6 of his). I love the way you can tell the good cookbooks, btw, they're the ones that are filthy and open up to your favorite recipe!
I think I asked already, is anyone gonna be at WDW Feb 10-13?
Deena, thanks for the SW info. We have a wedding to go to in Cali in May, and I purposely hounded the groom for a date. As soon as the tax refund is in hand, I am buying tickets. Question is, how is it going to work...BIL offered to go with his family and take the boys for the day, or they will stay with Sis and BIL for a weekend. Off to call Uncle Big Joe as soon as I get off the laptop! Nice pic with Cameron, BTW!
Nancy, sounds like cruise surprises are in the air. I'm surprising DH w/a
Disney Cruise for his 40th this May. Now that I have to book the Cali trip, I think it will end up being the 4 day. I'll keep your secret, just keep mine...although I've been planning this for over a year and he's got no clue
Elaine, Happy 25,000! I will catch up, but you'll be at 250,000 before I hit 25,000!
Tara, sounds like you league friend is sweet on you! I didn't have to stay late, and my day people don't do the inventory...we have so few day people. During the second pregnancy, I was given a booklet on non drug remedies (all my chronic issues were really bad, I was high risk AND having lots of migraines). Caffeine has a big role...if you don't consume a lot of it, use it to get rid of the migraine...if you use a lot normally, cut it out. My biggest trigger? Nutrasweet. I used to get at least a migraine a week, and since August (when my wonderful sister told me) I've only had three migraines. Nuts can also trigger them for me, I just eat a few at a time now.
My boss said to me Monday "Why does Ed hate me?", my DH isn't the best at hiding his feelings and he was peeved at her Sunday night. Oh, because between you, your husband and son, you ate half the crab cakes that were meant to serve 20 people

! He told me this yesterday, LOL!
I gave Kevin the option of going to day care while I go to the dentist (an hour away in Baltimore) or come with me and sit in the little cubby with a toy or two. He chose the dentist, big surprise. I will spend the hour drive telling him all about the dental school and why he can't run around...what have I got myself into? In the long run, it will be worth it, though, we'll have the drive there and back to keep each other company. I'm gonna miss him while he and DH are in Florida next week. Ah, what to bring with us to keep him busy...I guess I'm bringing the LeapPad and all the accoutrements, but that won't do for the whole three hours.
He cracked me up last night. I decided to make a frozen coffee drink last night, at DH's suggestion (I now drink coffee due to the Barnie's Santa's White Christmas Freezer) and I made a pretty close version in my wonderful blender. I asked Kevin if he wanted a little ice cream, since I had it out. He says "No........I wan't a lot of ice cream!" Too funny, he decided that he'd rather have some of the coffee drink instead, because I was putting whipped cream on top.
Off to find the bottom of my sink, I think it is lost!
