I'm pooped. Just finished taking down all the Christmas stuff. Whew! Dusting is done, another load is in the washing machine, one in the dryer and I needed a break. Still have lots of cleaning to do, but I'll get back to it in a bit.

Talked to my friend Tonya today. Her, her DH & Hunter are coming over on Monday for me to "meet" Hunter. I'll have him 2 days the week after for a few hours, then on the 19th she goes back to work and I start babysitting Hunter. She said he is fine, and already weighs 11 pounds. I'll be busy, busy, busy once he starts coming.

Hope DH can come home, Rose Mary.

Kristy, hope you feel better soon. Forget the housework...it can be done later....lay down and relax.

Been watching some of the I Love The 70's marathon on VH1. I love those shows. I remember some of the stuff, but not all.

Oh my, oh my.....nothing like a crisis at 9AM to wake you up in the morning! Especially when it is followed by a 2nd and then a 3rd crisis!!! Whoops!! Sherry sneated--and you've already got all the decorations down? Awww geez......but you're putting up the streamers and things for New Year's, right? And the cutouts of Father Time and Baby New Year? Polishing the crystal champagne glasses and making sure the bubbly is chilled just right??!!! So exciting that baby Hunter is coming to visit!! and 11 lbs!! Holy cow, that boy is humongous!! It is sooooo gratifying to know how hard we were praying for him when he first arrived and now look at him. How is Tonya doing? Her tailbone healing well and everything? I just LOVE the teeny ones--give Hunter a hug for me.

DS's little fireball of black, tan, & white has been banished to the basement for a time out for pooping under the Christmas tree! And I had been bragging all day about how well behaved he was - not even 5 minutes after he came back in from a potty break did he do the deed and then hide under the dining room table..... I knew something was up and "just followed my nose"...... Aaarrggghhhh......

Yep - it's Gunny the wonder beagle - who jsut turned 10 weeks old and whom I secretly call "The Dictator". He thiks he runs the house - and he's about 85% right - but Precious Zimmerman the cat has had enough and is proving that once and for all she is the Supreme Being of the house!

Pics? You know I am challenged about uploading pics...... but he is a cute little pistol......

Elaine - isn't celebrating Christmas until the 6th called the Ephinany or something like that? Isn't that an Orthodox tradition? We usually leave our tree up until the 7th of Jan. - one year it was until Jan. 15th so I could use it as a backdrop for pics of DD's HS Snow Ball dance.

Sherry & Nancy - for the first couple of years that we were married - I literally did put up cutouts of the New Year's Baby, Father Time, etc..... but no alcohol - we don't drink!! (But there was always Pepsi in the champagne glasses......)
