Went shopping for a TV today and told DW about the 36" TV's that aren't 'projection' TV's and she said WE ARE GETTING THE 51"...We're getting what we want... ...Thats what I like to hear...

Did our christmas exchange today and my SIL's DH had my name(so does that make him a Brother-out-law?) and well she did the shopping but got me all the Indiana Jones(3 dvd's and a bonus dvd with extra footage) & a Lord of the Rings(Two towers) DVD... ..might have to have a Indiana Jones DIS meet marathon once we get the big screen...

MIL got me $15 in gift certificates to Skyline Chili & a new pair of Dockers...

It was a series about World War II on HBO - but we don't get HBO and DH (and DS) wanted to watch it - as soon as DS saw the DVD set in the stores in Oct. he convinced me to buy it for DH!!

Jarrod's BD is April 23, he will be 4...ugh!

Dr. told me to cut out the sugar and carbs and load up on protein foods. So i will work on it after Christmas! hehe I have cakes and cookies and all this other good stuff so I have to wait until it is gone!! The other thing is to make sure if I do eat something carb heavy or sugary that I follow it pretty quickly!

We did hear the heart beat!!! That is always so cool the first time you hear that! He is promising me that there is only one in there, despite what those around me keep telling me. He will schedule my ultrasound on my next appt. Jan 21. So I should have pix within a few weeks of that! I tried to get him to do it sooner, but he is a by the book kinda doc, if you don't need it, he ain't doin it!!

Jarrod and I made cookies this afternoon and between that and his hollering about Santa coming soon I'm about to lose my mind. hehe..not that there was much to lose to begin with. So i'm off, santa's got a lot to do when he goes to bed so i may not be back tonight!

April is a very busy month..
2nd is my nephews birthday..he'll be 11 next year
10th is a nephews birthday(amandas nephew)..he'll be 11
21st is my oldest brother(i think) Anniversary(15 years next year)
22nd is our anniversary(9 years next year)
23rd is our anniversary of our first date(11 years)
24th is her brothers birthday(he'll be 35 too)
25th of course is mine
27th is Mom & Dad's & Hers sisters anniversary(47 years & 16? years)
28th is my other brothers anniversary(14 years?)
My MIL's birthday is the end of the month and there are 2 other nieces/nephews with birthdays in April...

Very Busy Month...

tara--We are in the 'we're getting what we want' mode...
Last year we had our patio poured and our attitude is that is we are going to get something...we're getting what we want....
