I just had to share this... I found my Christmas spirit. I gave Cleo and Gwenie their presents for Christmas. While they may not understand what goes behind it, the joy they have with playing with their new toys just warms my heart. THey are adorable adn so very happy right now. Feels good to see my little fuzzies so happy. Not the same as kids, I know, but it made me smile all the same!

Tara, hope you can keep that blood sugar level up where it belongs--I know it's hard at the holidays with all the goodies screaming "Eat Me!!" Neat that you heard the heartbeat already, too! Doesn't it just give ya goosebumps the first time ya hear it!!! I've got 'em just thinkin' about it!!

Shep, you are getting quite mothy there!!! Congrats on the big TV! I'm giving Dave the same IJ DVD set for Christmas--James Bond set too.

Going to see ROTK again tomorrow, we liked it so much and just KNOW we've missed some stuff!! Hope the day is great for all. I want to thank all The Ya Yas for their gift of friendship. Ya'll are like a little family to me and I love all my Ya Ya sisters and bothers! God bless!!

Santa has been here and he was way to good to me!!! I got a lovely bracelet from Tiffany's.....the silver rolo bracelet with the heart charm....I have been eyeing that for years. I must tell you it looks simply stunning, especially with my jammies. Speaking of which, I also got some new jammies too!!! But most importantly it has been wonderful just spending time with the people I love the most. Greg and I had all day together yesterday and it was so nice. I did spend a great deal of time on the phone with my family, they are all oin Florida. That was quite nice too. My step dad and sister, BIL and nephew came up here to visit my step brother and got to see soem snow. Dad is really cranky about how cold it is here. That is kind of funny to see. On Friday I will be taking my step dad all over creation to see old friends and soem family that is still here. I am really lloking forward to spending time with him, as I don't get to see him very often and know he really appreciates my taking him to see his friends. This is the man who lit up like a Christmas tree last year when my whole family went to Disney. We all had I great time, but I think he had the best time of all of us. My sister and I were almost in tears to see him so happy. So, that being said, I really can't wait to hang out with him Friday. Today is going to be another quiet one here. A few oof our neighbors will be over for drinks and gift exchanging later in the day. Not sure what we are going to eat yet as we have many choices I have a turkey that I could put in the over, or a big pot of Italian Beef that I made yesterday. It is good to have choices!!! Not much else going on here. I hope that all of you have a very Merry and Wonderful Christmas. Thank you all for the wonderful gift of friendship!!!

Merry Christmas, Ya Yas!

I got some great gifts this year...the best was the kitchenaid blender that made some rumrunners last night. I've fried 5 blenders in ten years, and had given up on ever being able to make a daquiri at home. Mom came through, although DH was planning on getting the same gift!

He got me a modem, among other things, so that we can stop using my laptop to get on the internet...it sure is poky! The old modem in the pc fried when he got the new hard drive .

Hope all you ya ya's have a great day...mine is going to be spent in the jammies with the family. We deserve a nice quiet day, although the kids are probably going to get a little noisy with the games, LOL!

Merry Christmas YaYa sistas and bothers!
Had to work 1/2 day yesterday, then started making dinner right away. We have ritual Christmas eve dinner and I have taken the job over of making it. Yes domestically challenged as I am...it came out good too! DB #2 came over and brought his 2 dogs to visit with our 2 dogs. We had a great evening together.

Starting the ritual for today. DB #1 and SIL coming for dinner.
