Evening, all!
Boy, I had to scramble down the road to get to daycare before it closed! I usually drop off and Ed picks up, so doing both can get a little crazy...45 minutes each way. It didn't help matters that I left my store keys in the house and thought I didn't have a house key (I took the jeep today, and Ed's got the only key)...found out after I drove home and thought I couldn't get it and went down to work that I DID have a house key on Ed's ring!
Doing the peroxide thing to the ear, hoping that helps me out!
It's been soo quiet with just me and Neil. He's enjoying not having to share, and we've been going with his choice for dinner (but I'm going to steer him towards Chinese tomorrow!) and it is really nice to not have any tantrums and drama that are a daily part of life around here. His little brother looks up to him, and doesn't quite get that Neil isn't like other kids. I think we'll do more of these down the road!
Nancy, you need to get business cards from a vision center. Next time someone offers you the senior discount, hand them a card and say "I think ya need to give them a call", LOL...sometimes I just crack myself up!
Liz, go make those cookies and grilled cheese. Your SIL doesn't want to know the first time I made grilled cheese, lets just say it was before I started school! Buy your SIL those uncrustable grilled cheese that just came out. One of my friends says they're really good (although I tend to think
Sherry, kids here are off Monday thru Wednesday, for MLK and teacher development. Too bad I can't use the opportunity to sleep in, as I'm opening at work tomorrow and he has an early Dr's appt on Wednesday.
Ya know, I've never had to clean out the PM box! It's still got messages in there from when I first joined the DIS...I did delete all those messages from Pete, cuz he seems to tell me stuff I already knew about, LOL!
Lainey, better watch out what you say you're out off, someone might include it in your next gift, LOL! One case of mater soup in that Valentine's gift, hee hee!
Pammy, hope your evening is nice and relaxing after dealing with those tu tus. Guess I should be glad that it's all boys around here (and they've been trained to put the toilet seat down, too)
Lily, yum Steak and Shake. Never was in one until last year on a business trip, and it was great!
Boo, that's some costume!
Wow, I got caught up before someone's bedtime!
See ya all tomorrow!
