...we waited ONE HOUR in the freezing cold for the funeral of 19-y-o Travis Joseph Fragala, son of my DS's Lodi High School vice principal. He unexpectedly passed on January 17 when he froze to death after being exposed to extreme low temperatures all night. It seems that he went to a party with a few buddies and, as young adults do, had a drink too many. His friends dropped him off at home, but he never made it inside. Please warn your teens and young adult children about responsible drinking so another needless death does not have to occur!

I know its not that cold for you Miss Snowbunny but our extreme weather here is in the summer. We get 100+ PLUS about 100% humdity, lol. So even though I like the cooler weather 60 is is about just right. Im still used to the warmer weather. But no way would I move anywhere shoveling is involved I am just wearing a long sleeve shirt over a short sleeveshirt because I dont really have a jacket.

I've read everything let me see if I can sum it up in a nut shell....
drinking, bad tempers, sad young adult activites , tv's being watched by the opposite sex, senior discounts, boss w/o brains, keys...where are they...oh there they are, alone time with momma, bacon, kids off from school, bf's that can't come see their sweety, homework, computer labs, satan princess (nothing a 2 by 4 wouldn't cure), cooking lessons, and oh darn I know i've missed some things so please forgive me!!

The TA is for our trip to Alaska in 2005. We want to do the sea and land package so it will cost some major money, so not sure if it will happen between now and 2005, but we are going to try.

Well, Jarrod is sick again, apparently the strep didn't go away with the last antibiotic. I picked him up about 4 yesterday and when I got there he was sitting on the floor with his coat and hat on looking like he was ready to fall asleep at any point. The teachers said they took his temp about an hour earlier and he was fine. They said he told them he was cold so they told him to get his jacket (he insisted on wearing a short sleeve shirt yesterday). I called the ped but they said to take him to the urgent care because they were closed. So they examined him, another lovely strep test and then they gave him a shot of penicillian in his butt, he only cried for a minute and then he was fine. He is home with my mom today and i'm at school. Ugh! I hope we don't start having strep on a regular basis. I was so happy that we hadn't had an ear infection in over a year!!!

Okay, gotta run...kids are back from lunch. I'll try and check in tonight but it depends on his majesty and how he is feeling!!
