Kristy....take it! I'll take your 68º and you can have our 25º instead! Brrr.....too cold for me!

Beth, we do have snow equipment.....but we are like last to get our road cleared off. The city is fine. The freeway is fine.....if you can get out of our driveway, down the hill, it is just peachy....but that hill is a disaster.....always some cars in the ditches on days like this. Yes....hill, in shade, that takes forever to thaw with ditches on both sides! Plus with it being the weekend, they aren't in any hurry to do anything. Come Monday and school starts up again, they will get cleaned off better.
We haven't had much winter for the last 3 years, so everyone is out of practice!

DS has Netflicks. Loves it. Very convenient.

Liz!! You don't want to come mow my lawn this spring? It only takes 5-6 hours.

It's "bug" day on Sci-Fi :hyper: Love it!! Off to watch another :teeth:

i'm already in my jammies and have room for all!!!!!! kristy, congrats on being so mouthy!!!!!

So who is coming over for the slumber party!!! You better hurry, we are gonna get some snow!!!!! 6 - 8 " Oh I hope so!!!!

Whoa, Nancy 5-6 hours to mow. How big is that yard? Or do you use dog clippers?

Hi everyone. Made chicken soup today, played jugsaw puzzle and did some work stuff.

Ready for pajama party, DQ anything, movies, and M&M peanuts. Mmmm

Liz, I'm on my way--this 60º weather in January is killing me! Got my boots, got my mittens, got a carrot for the snowman's nose....

And Lily's got the chicken soup to warm us all up after!!

Who's bringing the peppermint schnapps for the cocoa??

;) That's with the riding mower.

I have almond M&Ms....much better than peanut.

I'm not coming if it is going to be cold! Had enough of that. I want the 60º weather!
It's 21º here right now and we are forcast for cold through the middle of the week

:wave2: Hi honeys, I'm home!!!!!

now for the really really lame catch up....

Nothing beats a green peanut M&M :p

Elaine! Great kechup!!! How was bowling?

60º here too and it won't last but it was a great day to take down outside decorations
(DH did that not me)

Sounds like a great party forming up!

LOL, thanks Lily ;)

Bowling was great!! Great group of people and we had a good time at dinner too!

Party?? Boy I need to catch up. Right now it is hard because the boards are so slow :(

Okay....where is everyone???

Liz....I'm heading over for the pj party. Dinner guest has left and I've got a buzz already going. We had salad and chili for dinner. The butterscotch schnapps and Bailey's irish creme in cute little chocolate cups. YUMMY boy do those schnapps pack a mean punch though.

Elaine....you bummed that M&M's won't have color for six months???

Nancy....sending you the 60 degree weather.....I'll take the snow...for a week or two anyway ;)

Off to read for a bit before the party gets started. :love2: & 's

Evening ya yas...had a nice evening with the neighbors. Next month, they're hosting. Finally, after 5 years, we get kids on the block and all the senior citizens move out. Sorry, I always think townhouses are great starter homes and should have lots of kids...only happening now, when we're looking to move!

Emperor's New Groove...that one is so funny, and so many people never saw it. We loved it so much, we got a WDW cast litho when the movie came out. I got it mounted and framed real nice, too.

Bethie, no peppermint schnapps here, just the peach left over from making the belinis the other night. Probably will get used in the next peach upside down cake, since DH can't have fuzzy navels.

Nancy, your yard is gorgeous. I miss my mountain!!!

Liz and Kristy, congrats on 1000...just hit that mark in the last month myself, I think I'll hit 2K much quicker than the first thousand! Nothing like having the 'pute to keep you company while recuperating, right Liz?

I'm excited about no color m&m's because my oldest can have those. No dyes, yay!

Off to give little man his snuggle time. He's up way past his bedtime because of company.

Suzanne

Whoo-hoooo!! Jammie party!! I got my new Mickey jammies with the snowflakes on them today, so I can wear 'em to the party!

Kristy, pass me some of that Bailey's, would you, please?

Nancy, I'm with Kristy and will gladly trade weather with you for a week or two!

Suzanne's bringin the belinis OK then! I like those on an occasion.
I'm getting ready to go do something else too (book reading sounds good--maybe a trashy romance), just not sure what it is I want to do. Something relaxing. Tried to get DH to take me to the movie tonight. That didn't work.

Tossing the Bailey's your way Beth!!!

oooo...new jammies...kewl! I have some really cool jammies that are light blue and have snow flakes too. The pants section even has footsies.

Lily...a good trashy romance sounds great. I'm reading "The Bride" by Julie Garwood. Coworker gave it to me b/c she loves Julie Garwood and I had never heard of her. It's pretty good so far. I'm a Nora Roberts and Debbie Macomber addict.

Ok what is a belini?? I love peach schnaps.fuzzy navels used to be the only thing I would drink. That was alooooong time ago.

romance novels..I love Nora Roberts..

Congrats Liz and Kristy on 1000 posts:D

RoseMary - how's the family??

Elaine - so how many gutter balls did you roll??:rotfl: ;)

We went to Canfield, Ohio tonight to Yellow Duck Park's Winter Festival of Lights - supposedly the largest light display in the U.S. - we've gone to quite a few places over the year. This one was very nice! They had the Eiffel Tower, Leaning Tower of Pisa, zoo animals, circus, etc. It was really nice.

Pam, too many gutter balls to count ;)

Kristy, they still have some colored ones left on the shelves... that and I bet I could find a Chirstmas package or two... that has tons of greenies :p

Not sure, Tina... never heard what was in it

Pam, sounds like a wonderful way to spend the day :)

...*sniff*, *sniff* you forgot ME in your ketchup (remember: 'young'uns' ??)...BTW ~ If ya like Nora Roberts, you should read Sandra Brown; she's an AWESOME writer!

WTG Kristy and Liz on the 1K posts!!

MY "poison" of choice these days are CHOCOLATE MARTINIS!!! Soooo yummy and go down oh-so-smoothly!!

...*sniff*, *sniff* you forgot ME in your ketchup (remember: 'young'uns' ??)...

Yes - and Tina sneated in while I was posting!:( Sorry.

How is the puppy potty training going? We were gone for a while, got home, I took Gunny out in the rain (and he's not even my pet:rolleyes: ). He pees right off the bat - we walk a little more, come back in - he gets a treat for going potty...... I am talking to my DH and turn around and the dirty bird was pooped right beside my computer chair! Gag - gag -gag!! DH hid - and I got the express joy of cleaning it up since DS hod gone to bed.
