Been busy this weekend. Steam cleaned all the rugs. Did week's wash for all 5 of us. Went shopping for electronics. Had roast beast dinner. Took a relaxing bath. Getting ready to relax and watch Oscars...haven't seen most of the movies; just going to watch the show. E has been on and off most of day here. Been enjoying the program. I couldn't for the life of me figure out what they would be having to put on for that many hours, so I kept checking in. The show wasn't bad, actually kind of fun to watch. I'm thinking tree frogs, might be some sort of "fancy drink" I should inquire to see if I would like.

Was such a beautiful day. DSs washed my car. Oils changed in the cars. DH cleaned up the garage from the winter..toss it all on Dad's work bench til the thaw. He was happy to see it neatened up.

Suzanne, hope ya got all you wanted with your shopping experience.

Actually the phone in the bathroom may occur. We tease that it is DH's room and he can decorate as he pleases. (He has a Mickey room all his own. ) He says he may get the phone to "finish" off his room.

Tara, Kristy, good luck with the homework.

Elaine, some times you just gotta have time to do for you, even if it is to do nothing.

Beth, hope you have fun with those tees. Hope to be seeing many pics of the finished product.

Some of those dresses...... I wonder how much double stick tape they go through on a night like this?!!! Didn't even recognize Johnny Depp without his eyeliner and ratty hair!

Well, it was an expensive day! We went to our favorite small time furniture place and found a living room set we loved. Hemmed and hawed all the way to Ikea, then went back and put a deposit on it. The thought was we'd have new for Florida and load onto the moving truck, but then we realized if we buy now, it'll make the house look nicer than the decrepid furniture that's here now!

Got my bookshelves at IKEA and Ed's putting them together now.

Hi all... watching a bit of the Oscars and then I'll go to bed. I realize I think I am fighting off a cold, so that might be why I am a tad bit blah today.

I am thrilled so far with the wins!!!! So far what I wanted to win has won!!!

I gotta say, Johnny Depp looked so HOT tonight!!!!! That hair cut on him was very flattering. He is so charming.

Another busy weekend here! I have been busy secrect shopping Subway, and as always, it is interesting. Nothing really too mind boggling yet. I even gave my first perfect for the first time!! That is very exciting. Speaking of Subway, quite often the place I love to hate...someone just put their 2 week notice in. Greg may have a "little" exta work to do this month, which means....no Disney trip could be the reality we are facing. This actually happend to us in January 2 years ago.....had to cancel our trip in just about the same amount of time. Greg will give me a call a little bit later to let me know what is going on with his schedule. But it is not looking real good!! Keep your fingers crossed that this all works out. He told me I am still going to Florida....I told him I wasn't, but at this point I guess I am going. My family has a bunch of things planned and it is too late to cancel my air fare. It will be good to see my family. I do hope hope that Disney is an option though, as Greg desperately NEEDS a vacation!!! The joys of haiving a job!! LOL!!!! I guess while in Florida, I could break out the Power Ranger costume and make a little extra $$$ for future trips. Pammy, will you be my booking agent? Now don't laugh.....but I have professionally, yes professionally (meaning I got paid for this) have been the Easter Bunny, Subman, Barney, Cookie Monster, a Subway drink and a bag of chips.....that is quite a list.... But one question...have you ever seen a plump Power Ranger? By the way, I am partial to the pink one!!!!! Anyway, that is the news here today! I guess I had better get my secret shop forms typed up so Greg can take them to work. Off and running......have a great day!!!!

Oh, before I forget.....Nancy, we want details on that ring!!!! Do tell!!!

Good morning everyone... tired and not feeling all that great today. I can't tell if it is a cold or a sinus thing yet. I almost decided to stay home and sleep today

I only watched some of the Oscars but was so happy when ROTK went 11 for 11 last nigth! I guess I wish that Johnny Depp (who I know for sure is in Nancy's care ) had won as well. He truly made that movie.

Oh and Nancy, would you agree that Johnny sure as heck did NOT look at all 40ish last night? When he drops the blondish hair and the glasses he looks really good

Liz, good luck with all the secret shopping you are doing! I do hope that Greg gets to go to Florida! I will admit though, I would probably wind up quitting if my job forced me to go back on a vacation that was already planned. But I hope for the best!

What a magnificent outcome at the Oscars last night! Went to bed saying "Wouldn't it be great if ROTK took everything it's up for?" So happy to see it actually happen! Peter Jackson deserves nothing but the best for the amazing feat he has accomplished, not to mention all the acting and behind the scenes talent!!

Sherry, is that 2yo going thru the "Terrible Twos"?! Enjoy the respite and the lovely warmer weather!!

Laine, I swear, I did NOT send you any germs! My cold/sinus thing is definitely better--I hope you feel better really soon. PD fairy is headed in your direction with explicity instructions to pour it on liberally!!

Liz, I'm so sorry to hear Greg may have to give up his vacation. And this is NOT the first time??!!! Not fair at all!!! Will keep that situation in my prayers and keep everything crossed that your trip goes as planned.

Nancy, I have to admit, JD certainly cleans up well!! He looked wonderful last night and I was amazed to hear how old he actually is! Looked at least 10 years younger to me! And I second the motion on the ring!! Please show us sooooooooon!!!

The Oscars were over at 9:10
I was happy with all the awards.....as much as I knew about them.
Saw most of the movies......not Lost in Translation or 21 Grams though.
As much as I LOVE Johnny in Pirates.....Sean Penn was amazing in Mystic river!! I would have been happy with it either way.....knew Johnny was a dark horse. His time will come

The ring....it is nice. Shiny and sparkly. It will take getting used to wearing it....it has a wide band.
Pictures.....nope. Can't get them to come out. Too blurry.
You have to wait until Chicago.

Liz..I hope the trip works out the way you want it to.....(I would go to Disney without him ....I'm bad). I did go without DH when he had to cancel.
