Thanks for the interesting details on locusts Todd and Lily :) :) I've seen those little buggers...just didn't know what they were called.

Tara that is so sad! Many prayers for her family and everyone she knew.

Okay....PD fairy needs to make a double run around here...all these headaches are not good!

LOL Elaine..I like tall shoes too..but mainly my boots and clogs.

okay...off I go again...

I have a problem with shoes Kristy... I love really tall ones!!!! So I have a hard time finding ones I love that are at least 3-4" tall

My tall shoe days are far behind me. I prefer low to the ground, flat comfy shoes ;) .

I'm so ready to go home. Oh look, only 7 more minutes.

C Ya!

:wave2: Quick afternoon check.
My stomach hurts now too :( Rats....I don't want that bug.
Yacht open house is tomorrow and I want to go!

Elaine...what are the different ideas for the bonus?

DH stopped at the throat doc's on his way to work today.....NO CANCER cels :bounce: That's a HUGE load off!!
Wonder why doc didn't call? I hate that!
Still don't know what the heck is going on.....off to a specailist (more so than just throat) next.
He has a goiter, cyst and a strange nodule

Okay...Off to lay down. Hope everyone's headaches go away and everyone starts to feel better soon....family members included!

We try to spend the night in a different state each year, so by the time our 50th anniversary rolls around, we can say we stayed a night in every state....We already did Virginia...How close is Pennsylvania, New Jersey or North Carolina??:jester:

No prob!! Gettysburg--about 2 hours away! Philadelphia--about 3 1/2 hours. Amish country, antiques, outlet malls (Reading, PA), or Pennsylvania Renaissance Festival--2 hours away. New Jersey border is about 2 1/2 hours. There's a 6 Flags up north and a Medieval Times....Atlantic City? North Carolina--4-5 hours, maybe to Kristy's house!

::yes:: ::yes::

And we have beautiful beaches!! If you like golf..we have some of the best :) :)

Great news, Nancy! :bounce:
Hope they figure out what is wrong soon.

My tummy is still hurting. I threw the diet out the window and had some mashed potatoes and half a candy bar. They are my comfort foods. :teeth:

I wish I could wear high heels. :( I have an extremely high arch and high heels just KILL my feet.

Evening all!! After my fun day at work  I decided to go get something done... got a piercing I've wanted for a while. Once I could fit into Jrs clothing I figured I was good to do this :p

LOL, Tina!!! I am usually not that lucky with shoes!!! I will say that these are a 1/2 size too big, but since they are open toe and all that, I don't notice the difference :p

Kristy, being a hair over 5', I love tall shoes all around! I used to hate them and now I love them!

Rose Mary, how was your day at work? I hope it got better :)

Nancy, I hope you won't get sick either! What a terrible sounding bug that was. And yippee on the results!!!! :jumping1: I just hope they can find out what is wrong soon!!!

Bethie, planning a new trip???

Sherry, I hope your tummy feels much better too!! It's funny with the arch thing for me, the way mine are, the high heels feel better than flats... most arch supports in flat shoes just don't work for me. Mostly though it really helps with my posture :teeth:

Well I need to bug Luis to get dinner :)

okay I just made my last resort ressie for our trip and I'm very excited. Though it does seem to be a lot of moving.
May 29 Pop Century (disney visa discount)
May 30-June 4 BWV (dvc points)
June 4-7 Royal pacific resort (passholder discount)
June 7-12 Poly (disney visa discount)

David's brother and his family are going with us--their first time. So Im trying to get together some neat stuff. Oh and we got a grand gathering #. I will be happy when my 90 mark starts so I can start making some ps.

I know I have been on hiding...so nice of so many of you to notice!! Thanks for thinking of me. I am a bit bummed...OK really bummed that I am fairly certain that this surgery really did little to help my pain factor. Sorry to be a downer....I am jsut having trouble adjusting to the thought of being ECV bound for shopping trips, Disney and the like.....I on a brighter side.... I am still walking and that is a good thing. I have been lurking, so I do know what is going on with all of you...so for the record, here is my ketchup......

Deena, I will check my schedule to make sure all of those dates work for me. What time do I need to meet you at your suitcase? Or better yet, could you be a love and pick me up on your way? I have ALWAYS wanted to stay at the Poly!!!!!!

Elaine, what did you get pierced?? nYou know we all want to know!! I have a feeling you are much braver than I! Good luck with those high heels, I am certain I would be falling off of them!!!

Sherry, Feel better!! Sorry you have a case of the ickies!!! How does the list o things to do look for Chicago?

Kristy, your beaches and golf courses must be the best....One of these days we will make it to your part of the country! Can't wait until we do!!! It sounds lovely!!

Beth, let us know when you are having the party at your place! I am sure we could all go and change the thinking of DC.....Now that would be a hoot!!! The YaYa's take DC by storm...be afraid...be very afraid!!!

Nancy, get to feeling better soon!! SOrry to hear you are not feeling well. I am so glad to hear that your hubby is in the clear...now to just figure out the problem!! Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers and sending lots of pixie dust your way!

Rose Mary, I am with you on the high heel days......LONG gone for me too!! So have you beeen DISing in your jammies lately? How is that Florida sunshine. Glad to hear you had a good time at AK. That is one park we have not really done, and I am looking forward to seeing some of it this time around!!

Hi Tina, how are things with you? What is going on in your side of the world?

Todd, what a great idea!! I love to hear about staying someplace new each year!! Let me know how it is spending a night in Hawaii!! How fun is that gonna be. I bet you might want to stay for more than just one night though!!! Glad to hear about all of your trips!! Good luck with getting a new TV!!!

Tara, what sad news. I am so sorry. How are things with you, Jar and Mantilda? I hope all is well!!

Amanda, I hope you get your you day!! Everybody needs one of those every now and again.....I would trade you a quiet day alone for a day out with people if that would help! Barkley is pretty good company, but he is not much of a conversationalist!!

Pammykins, where have you been hiding? Are you spying on us from the pantry again? How I miss you and hope that all is going well. Good thing Lily is feeding us lots of veggies!!! Just think, little road kill, should be making it's way back to the streets. The days of them big deer are gone. I hope you have some new tasty treats on the menu!! More importantly, stop in and yell at us every now and again. We all need to be kept in line!!! Some of us more than others!!!!

Lily, how are things? Sounds like you are busy with your trip planning as well. So sorry you will be misisng Chicago. I think it would be lots of fun to visit each yaya's home town!! Imagine the fun we could have!! I hope to make it to the Peddler meet too! Sounds like a good time. Can't wait to me all you knowledgeable locust experts!!

Suzanne, I guess I am gonna miss you at Disney again! Hope to meet up with you sometime while we are there! How much snow did ya get? I think I will take the Florida sunshine over the snow at this point!! Don't work yo hard and take care of you!

Well, I think I got everybody...and if I missed you ......love to all of you!! Off and running to cook some dinner and to figure a few more things out!! Thanks to all for your love, supprt and encouragement. I could not ask for a nice bunch of friends!!!!

:wave2: :wave2:

Hi all!

Great ketchup, Liz.  for you. Sorry to hear you are bummed. :(
The list for Chicago looks great! :bounce:

Elaine, what'd you get pierced? You know you have to tell us.

Junior is making dinner for us tonight. WOO HOO! :bounce:

 so I guess I can get that pretty leash I saw at the craft fair and hook it onto the new ring in your nose?! We'll have so much fun dragging you around WDW!!!!

{{{{{{{{{{{{{{LIZ}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}} Smart girl, come here when you are down and we will do our darndest to pick you up!! Really sucks when the surgery doesn't work the way it is supposed to, but think of all the fun we will have racing your ECV or pushing you around in a wheelchair! You can be the queen and make everybody wait on you!!

Nancy, sorry you are feeling icky. Sending out that PD fairy for you too!!!

I started the morning with a tickly in my throat--now it's swollen a bit and starting to feel sore. I DON'T WANNA BE SICK AGAIN!!!!!
PD fairy better drop a load of PD here too!!

I cannot believe I forgot to write what it was that I got done!!! Sorry about that! Nancy got it though, just my navel. It's cute and it sure as heck didn't hurt at all!!!! He put the clamp down and made sure I wasn't in pain, and I hardly felt a thing. Very nice and very quick about it too! Now the healing part with be fun ;)

So Bethie, go put that leash back, there is nothing here to hook onto ;)

Deena, congrats on all your ressies!!! That sounds like it will be a great trip!! Aren't those rates wonderful for Visa card holders!!!

Liz  Sorry you've been bummed lately. Great ketchup though!!!

So Sherry, what did Junior make for dinner??

Nancy, I hope you feel better soon  ANd I hope you aren't as bad off as Dave was!

And  and PD to you Bethie... I do hope you are not getting sick!

Well my headache is still sort of here but not awful... I can tell it is just the change of weather causing trouble.

Oh no...not Beth too :(

I'm not as bad as Dave....just hurts when I stand up ;) So I stay down.

Okay...Elaine....what's next? Tongue? ;) :rotfl: I know you said "no way!" on that one :teeth:

Well keep sitting Nancy ;)

And NO TONGUE!!!!! NO WAY!!!!! No more piercings honestly. My ears are full at 10 and I have no desire to get another part of my body pierced. Maybe another tattoo but that's it... not too exciting am I? :p

Having trouble with teh DIS again... I guess they are prepping for the move this weekend. I'll try to get to all PMs but it's nto going to well :(

Hi All! Triple doses of PD and get well quick wishes all the way around.
What is it with all these germies going around??????????? I think
it is time to think Spring and :sunny: so we can all get out of the house more and start feeling better.

:wave2: Liz! Great ketch-up and unfortunately Florida is not very :sunny: right now. Heard on a news clip that most of Fl. is under a flood watch  . Need to check out the 10 o'clock news for more on that. And yes I have been Dis'*** in my jammies, alot. Lovin' every minute of it!!!

Deena-Sounds like your trip is gonna be a blast!;)

Elaine- It really didn't hurt? The piercing, that it! Just seems like
that would be a tender spot. :earseek: Work kinda really flew by this afternoon, after the long boring training. :(

On the sickie front: I get home from work today and DS is telling me he is itchy all over. A little later he comes in saying he is burning up and he doesn't have a fever and feels clammy. Check the cough medicine they gave him and it has codeine in it. Think he is allergic to it. My DH had those same symptons and he is allergic to it. Guess there will be another call to the doc tomorrow  Geesh!! AND we are suppose to be going to Melbourne this weekend. Two of my aunts are in town visiting and we were hoping to take them to Disney on Fri. Keeping the fingers crossed that DS gets over his ickies.

Off to see what trouble is going on out there.

Evenin' all!

Rose Mary, I hope your DS is feeling better soon and that if it is an allergy they will be able to find something good for him to take.

Honest it did not hurt at all!!! It barely hurts now and then as it is!!! I'm not being overly cautious with my movements (they said just be careful of rubbing with clothing and to NOT play with it!) and only now and then do I feel it. I guess it isn't so sensitive there. I have an itty bitt bruise from the clamp and I swear I didn't feel much of anything at all with that! I am not a whimp with pain but I wouldn't try to underplay it either. Much easier on me than a tattoo and I'd do that again in a heart beat ;)

Anywho, got distracted so now I am going to bed. Good night y'all and I hope all who aren't feeling well will feel much better soon! :)

Just got in from ortho doc apt and DH and I went to get something to eat we were hungry, but I was not happy.
My DH needs surgery...hip replacement. I never saw this one coming. I just don't know how much more there is left to buck up for here. This will be his third in as many years each for a different major reason. I don't know how to console him and I guess it's because I can't face much more just yet.

To top it off, my brother was in the exam room next door and he needs back surgery as well. He will be going for mri and all next.

My knee problem is nothing compared to this news. I am just a baby here.
:(

 Lily.
Boy, the Yayas and families are going through some rough times :(
I hope everyone gets better, stays better, goes through surgeries well......and live happily and healthily ever after!

Morning!

 Lily.

I'm feeling a bit better this morning. I went into carb overload yesterday, though.

Elaine, Junior made fried chicken and fresh cut fries. :teeth:
