Pink is not the color of this baby!!!! Better start coming up with something more manly!!
Yesterday we got snow and ice over night so my appt. was cancelled. I called back at 10 (when they said to call) and they felt sorry for me so they gave me a 1pm appt. But my dr. appt. was cancelled. AFter the US I went to reschedule the dr. appt and they gave me one for an hour later. So we waited and spetn 5 minutes with the dr. and then we went shopping. Then last night I had bowling. I was exhausted when I got home.
I went in for the US I told the tech I wanted to know the gender and just as soon as the tech started moving the wand around she said "Oh there is Mr. Pickle!!" So I knew then that it was a boy. I will admit that I was very dissappointed because I had my heart set on a girl. But I am past that now. I am excited to have another little man in my life and I figure I will have to work really hard at being more manly myself to ensure my guys learn to be good men!! (I'm going to practice standing up to "go" and digging in all the right places!!! hehehe j/k!)
I have to go back in 2 weeks for another us because he refused to turn over so they could see his front side. So they didn't get all the measurements they needed. But unless this is a malformed girl, we are pretty sure he is a boy! I will scan the pictures into my computer tonight and post them either tonight or tomorrow. We are expecting more snow and junk for tonight so maybe I can stay home tomorrow!
Gotta run and teach! April 4th sounds good for me. I'm waiting to find out when my comps are for my degree, but I think that will be in March.
I did read everything that I had missed, so I saw plenty of chicago talk, lots of valentine's day (V-day does sound like an illness!), discontent, and lots of fun gabbing. Sorry I don't have time to do a formal catchup!!
More later!
