Feeling stressed today - work stuff mostly...husband trying to talk me into changing careers.....

Karen, I'm glad the drama/musical went so well, and Tara I do hope Ethan feels better soon.

My little princesses started school today, but Mrs. AA has been sick all weekend herself.

And CDB is not redneck! They're just "folk". I've never had the pleasure of seeing him in concert; I'll bet it was great.

Thanks for the well wishes and the cheetoh patrol! I think I saw her with some stuck to her forehead!!!

Well, we got a little sleep last night. He woke up 4 times but only once did I get in there while he was still fussing. The rest of them I got to his door and he got quiet. Then as soon as I got back in bed he started again!!

He woke up around 730 with a 103.8 temp so I gave him his meds and we had some snuggle time.

We got into the docs office at 11 and after they had a chance to hear me and look at his reports from the hospital they decided to give him another shot of the antibiotic as a precaution until all of the cultures came back. We have to go back again tomorrow to be rechecked and if the cultures are all still "no growth" then we are in the clear and we just assume that it is a virus. I'm glad I went ahead and took him yesterday! hopefully he will be much better tomorrow (not laying money on it, but at least hoping!!!)

Thank you for all the good thoughts for Ethan and for me. Now I think I will go take a little nap before I go to the gym!!

You mean we have to request permission to reboard....shux.....guess I broke the rules Friday evening. I went to see Gretchen Wilson and Kenny Chesney for a bit...you know...they're good ole country folks too.

A girlfriend and I decided spur of the moment we needed to get out of town. Went down to Disney, checked into CBR walked around checked things out then went over to Boardwalk and Jellyrolls. We had a great time.

Ok, will have to do all the kethchupping later. DS is calling for me.

I got four viruses on my computer the other day from of all places my eldest sons school website. I had to call them today to warn them that someone had hacked it and installed these viruses. It was awful trying to get them off and I have Norton.

Karen have you heard about how Scotty is doing? He is still in my prayers.

Yep, computer was fixed last night... some of it was actually just internet issues not related to the computer.

Not an exciting night here at all... but sometime this week I get to close on a home equity loan. Taking some loans and consolidating them into one bill with a lower interest rate... not a huge thing, but I always hate doing the bank stuff. And I hate having to go all the way up to Delaware Co. to do this

I haven't heard anything more on Scotty. I know he's out pretty much the rest of this month. When I was down there, he had hinted that he could still be out when I head down there in November/December. I'll probably e-mail him again in a week or two to see how he is doing.

quick update before I head out....Ethan woke up without a fever! It was 104 again last night and then he woke up around 4 this morning so I gave him some more meds and as of now (6 hours since the meds) he is not sporting a temp. But i won't believe it until we go about 12 hours with out one!

I'm off for my 6 month post baby birth appt!! (I think I'm a wee bit late!! hehehe ) Then we go back to the doc with E.

If he is feeling up to it, then we will go out to Max and Ermas for dinner. I have been trying to go since last Friday So maybe today is the day. I'm craving their tortilla soup. Ymm!!

Glad Mrs. AA is feeling better. And loved the zippo!!

Paula and Kristy been doing the country thing!! Good for you! I want to see WhiteSnake when they come here! Probably won't, but i want to!!

Jon...i'm looking forward to meeting you in Sept. I use imagestation for my pics.

Did you all see our plane that did the absolutely perfect belly landing here?? That wasn't too far from where I live (about 20 minutes) That pilot did an absolutely brilliant job!!

Tara That is great news about Ethan. Hope that fever stays away and he is up feeling better. It's summer better to be outside running and playing.

Sad to say too soon we will all be back in school. So not looking forward to it. At least I have good news about my job at our local high school.For those of you who are unaware or didn't read my other post.

I had recieved a very bad review filled with lies from a teacher. I even had proof she lied but it was pushed aside. Well to make a long story short. I got a phone call from the new head of our department. The old head of the dept was asked to leave. The new head of our dept informed me that she wasn't putting me into the BD room afterall. I GET TO STAY WITH MY MULTI NEEDS SUDENTS!!! I AM SO HAPPY! I really enjoy working with those kids. I have been for the past 6 years. I've developed a friendship with them and really was scared about what I would encounter in the BD room.

Now I don't dread going back to work as much. Still hate to see summer end though.
