It's so nice to be home, sleeping in my own bed. But, I'm sure gonna be spoiled. Got home Tues off W,Th & Fri. Work 3 days next week and 3 days the following week. Gonna be hard to work a full week

Ok, don't want to hear how ya'll have gotten all this Christmas shopping done already I'm still working on Nov. B'day presents.

I cancelled a party for the Iron Bowl watching tomorrow (Alabama/Auburn football game) to go to Mobile to attend the funeral of a great-aunt.

However, my van is acting posessed (lights flashing and door locks resetting themselves) so I may have to take it to the dealership instead.

Three Thanksgivings ago? My therapist says I really shouldn't delve into those memories yet. I told him I was ready, but he says no, he's worked too hard to get me this far... that the damage could be irreversible and that possibly by NEXT Thanksgiving with much love and support, I may be ready to try another pumpkin pie. He's so good to me. Sigh.

Whoops..y'all have been asking about Pilot

Pilot is doing well. I walked a route with them on Tuesday but then Mrs. AA went to the doctor that afternoon and was told that walking is a no-no.

However, she is sooooo puppyish.

She remains on tie down most of the time, so we cleaned up (we thought) our den, kitchen, and living room to let them have some play area.

She ate 2 crayons that I missed.

One part really has broken our heart though; we did not realize how old Winston had gotten. We let them play outside, and Pilot runs circles around the yard. Winston's hips hurt him so badly that he can not run after her. He just howls as she runs by.

But she still can't take a tug rope away from him

We are giving him ascription by recommendation of the vet.

Today Mrs. AA and Pilot are at the girls' school. It is Plimoth Plantation day and the kids all dress as Pilgrims or Native Americans (See, I'm Politically Correct!) Lela has a part in the program, and then they all have a feast afterwards.

I just roll my eyes at PC-ness anyway. I do make a distinction with Indians and Native Americans though... only because my SIL is Indian.. from India

Speaking of which.... my brother is comign for a visit today with my SIL!!! We have a bunch planned so far... I am so excited to see him again!

Off to work on the house a little more... want to get a load of laundry in and clean the kitchen. But being slow about it since I'm trying to be nice to the ankle. Big big bump on it today!!! If I hadn't gone to the doc yesterday, that bump on the bone would've done me in today!

I am being good to the ankle, and Luis isn't expecting much of me. Just keeping me off my feet as much as possible. And Mrs. AA and I were teasing each other about how we could have wheel chair races at WDW if we were still hurting. Though she does have the edge with Pilot being there to help pull

just had tomato soup and threw clothes in the dryer... up here until Luis comes home and wants his dinner

Thanks for the warm welcome homes . I'm so happy to be in my OWN space I got all dressed to go out, run errands and stuff and wound up dropping off my mail, picking up some lunch and coming straight back. Very dreary yucky day here! Who sent their cold weather on down here to Fl? Oh well, gives me an excuse to nap and be lazy. I think all my get up and go got up and went without me.
