Nancy,

I knew you'd say that-that's why I picked up five of them :teeth: ! I'll probably put some boxes together tomorrow and send out care packages to a couple of yayas, lol

I had a nice chat with a fellow topper addict today. Gave her some suggestions on displaying, other than her use of the thread spool holders she's currently using. It always makes my coworkers laugh when I start talking toppers. I'll tell people I have an obsession!

Oh? Had Cleo been sick? I didn't realize ;)
Twit :p

back from church (again). Allergies aren't all that great so I will be sure to tak emy meds before I go to sleep.

And I will be good and not go shopping on Disney's site :teeth:

Suzanne....at least it is easier for you to be a topper addict....the store and the parks are so close for you ;)

I see they are selling several by the pack now?? :( I have 2 of the ones in the holiday pack already.
I appreciate you helping us with the topper addiction :p

Tornados and snow... that's what they have in store for us this week

yuck

hate Ohio ;)

Nancy, how many toppers do you have now?

I'm off to knit. See ya!

Suzanne,
Thanks for the heads up -- I caught that sale earlier and my ornaments have already been shipped!!

Elaine - great weather forecast.... -- guess I should go find out what's in store for us. :guilty:

Nancy - I'm headed to Cabelas tomorrow -- need any hunting supplies?? :confused3 :rotfl: ;) Maybe some Roadkill Seasoning..... :teeth:

Waiting for the Steelers game to be over so DD will come home and load up her hamster and 6 suitcases into MY car for her return to college. She better write about me doing this act of kindness in her next Psychology paper -- heaven knows I've given her enough Bad Mommy moments to write about....

Night all...

Good morning, everyone! Happy Monday!

My office has our annual Thanksgiving luncheon. I'm not a big fan of the Thanksgiving meal, but the company that caters this is very good.

Have a good day, everyone!

Good morning, Ya Yas! Up and about early this morning as I have packages to mail and errands to run before work.

WhooHoo on the free lunch, Karen!

Peppermint Mickey toppers!!!!

Ornament toppers on the glitter heads--bet they charge an extra dollar or two for that!!

Tornadoes and snow?!

Pam, saw that beagle and the hunting coat at BaB yesterday. Too cute!! Glad to hear you finally got the pony, too.

Big YaY on Mrs. AA and Pilot coming home today!!!

Off and running!! Hope ya'll have a great day!

Quick hi... vet appt today in about 30 minutes, so I need to get ready (and Cleo too)

Fortunately no apparent bad weather that happened last night. The cold front was the one spawning tornados in Idaho (I think) and we were getting that same front. But the snow is still there. Heck it was below freezing last night so we're in for it. Just about the right time too

Pam, you are a sweet mom there... if anything staying up so late for your DD :)

Karen, enjoy the luncheon!

Bethie, enjoy the day!

Now I am off to get ready... and I will be busy in the next couple of days, so if I am sparse, you know why. Depending on my mood, I am not entirely sure what I am going to do today. But I do have a knitting group tonight to go to at the very least. I'd love to head to the zoo for daylight shots, but if I have errands I would rather do thta while the sun is shinning ;)

See y'all later!

S....l....o....w.... D....I....S....

back from the vet and Cleo is doing great! We can begin to wean her off of the prednisone so she'll only have it every other day for a while. Then every two days. I can't believe how well she has recovered :)

Good news on Cleo, Elaine.

Pam..I thought you had the roadkill seasoning ;)

:cold: here too :cold:

Posting this again for those that might have missed it. I will post a couple more times before it closes.

Okay....the time has come.
Holiday Exchange time!!

This year we will be having a Christmas present exchange.
This can be one larger present or multiple smaller ones.
They are to be wrapped....but they can be opened when they are received. :teeth: We don't have to wait until Christmas.
And of course, you can always put in some extra things that aren't really presents.
MINIMUM is $20.

I will be taking names until 11-23.
Mail by date will be 12-5 (to accommodate those going to WDW).
Send me a PM if you want to play this year. I will then send you back a survey that will help your sistah or bother shop for you.
Names will go out the 23 ......or when all the surveys get back to me ;)

If I get the server busy message one more time, I am going to scream!!!!!!!!!!

Stupid lost posts!

Woohoo for the exchange!!!!!

Went to zoo, ran errands... now I need to clean :)

oppss.....sorry, I missed that. Oh about 80 or 90...not sure. Haven't counted or updated my list lately

Quiet day here in Yaya land....everyone having service busy problems. I haven't gotten that since last week....opps, did I just jinx it.

Slow exchange this time, by the looks so far. But we will have fun anyway ::yes::

Back to cleaning and laundry here

Hi everyone.....

I was wondering why it was so quiet today....

I've done alot of online browsing and got alot of great ideas for Christmas presents for the kids....

Pam - going to Cabelas would be my husbands dream vaca - for sure!!
Elaine - so glad to hear that Cleo's visit went well - weaning off the meds - excellent!!

Had a wierd thing happen with my car today - got home - turned the car off and because it made what I thought was a funny noise when I turned it on I decided to try it again - well - turned the key - nothing.....and key woudl not even come out of the ignition - Chris tried the shift (automatic) - it moves - Chris says "for some reason the car thinks it's still running" - I put my foot on the break - take it off - try again and it's fine.....how wierd is that????
First phanton phones and now phanton cars?????

What's next???

Wow, I can finally get through... I honestly gave up for a long time after getting server busy error after another.

I have knitting group tonight. I'm not sure if I should be proud of my work or if they will laugh at what I am doing, but I guess it doesn't matter. I can actually do it on my own now :teeth:

Nancy, hope your day went well for you! I did laundry and cleaning myself. Did both on self timers though since I wanted to get a shower in. Bad thing when I do that is that I sometimes forget to throw things in the dryer :p

Wow, Paula that is funky! I know a friend of mine had that issue... old deisel Mercedes. Hope it doesn't happen to you again!

Nothing too exciting going on. I am about to look at my zoo pics I took though :)

Hey honeys, I'm home...... :teeth:

Cabelas trip = $400.00.

I can personally attest to the fact that men can be worse than ladies when on a shopping trip to Cabelas. My feet hurt. :guilty:

Nancy - I Pm'ed you. Yeah - I do have some Roadkill Seasoning.... :rotfl: The men like it!

Beth - yep, finally got my little Princess her very own Pinto Pony! :rotfl2:

Paula - don't go to the Opera! :faint: You've been having too much trouble with Phantoms lately! ;)

JRKaren - how was your gobble gobble lunch??

Lainey - knit one pearl two! ::yes::

Howdy, Heather!

I think the count is around 120 now. I need to photograph and catalog them.

Busy day here. Took Neil to the new psychiatrist-we like her a lot. She liked the fact that we'd typed out a medical history. I didn't have time to print it out, so I brought the laptop and she ended up saving it to a smart drive. Gotta love technology.

Went and picked up Kevin and then Bloodbath and Beyond and dinner. Found a chocolate fondue crockpot, got some stuff for the bathroom and some kitchen stuff. One room in our house is now complete-the surf/stitch bathroom. :cool1: Next is probably Kevin's room!

Gotta get dessert for the kids that I promised.

We got an email about our company's Thanksgiving luncheon along with the price. Yep. We get to pay for our Thanksgiving lunch. In the past I would have sworn that the company provided that meal to us. Oh yeah. They had the Honeybaked Ham company in the cafeteria today. To sell us a Thanksgiving ham. Didn't companies used to hand out these sorts of things to employees? Or am I dreaming.

I think I'll skip the Thanksgiving luncheon and have Skyline chili for lunch instead.

What's Cabelas?? Is that that religion Madonna's all into? :confused3

Hammmm...reminds me of a certain ham-loving dorkaskaterlover around here...Lainey, I'm sorry I haven't been around as much to keep that joke alive. ::yes::

Whoa, people-that's a LOT of toppers! :earboy2:

Thinking about test-driving a Prius....the old boomobile can't last forever.:( :moped:
