Virtual shopping - how fun...I have a goal to be credit card free by beginning of next year - so I"m just "looking" - having fun nonetheless.

Chris just called - sleeping at a friends house- will be home by 8am tomorrow. Funny thing is the friends dad graduated from high school with and was friends with my husband - the boys are both Chris - they just ordered Saw2 from Pay per View.

I heard my husband say tonite that he wants to buy Chris waders for Christmas - he's planning on taking him salmon fishing in NY in the spring...

For Alyssa the only things I can think of so far are earrings and a Vera Bradely tote bag....she never asks for anything - will probably get her gift certs for stores, restaurants and movies.

I have an order coming from Bits & Pieces....and Disney, so far that's it.
But most of my shopping is done.
Dave wants gold lessons......seem a bad time of year for that, so may wait for his BD in spring.
Thinking of GC for Christin too, Paula. She's poor and I got her big thing (and some small ones already).
I need ideas for the rest. Having just gotten a million things for the wedding, don't know about G&M. I did get her earrings and a necklace already.

Chris only wears clothes from American Eagle these days...needs sneakers (only wears skateboard ones) but I don't dare pick those out.
I would really like to get Chris an ipod but out dinosaur computer won't support the software and I don't want him downloading on this one (my work computer)...

DD loves their clothes - but we do our shopping on the clearance section!

DS only wears American Eagle clothes as well. I got him the Peacoat for Christmas and some pickle and gnome underwear!

Nancy - I've always looked at the Bits and Pieces and catalogs with great interest -- but never ordered from there. Have you bought from them in the past?

Around here some of the girls were upset with the sayings on the A&F shirts - like Blondes being more fun than brunettes, etc. I just got the A&F catalog in the mail 2 days ago. The models are now clothed! The Post Office Clerk and I know that for a fact - because we devoured the entire catalog right then and there, much to the amusement of the elderly gentlemen in line behind me! Hey - I showed him the centerfold spread of the girl model!!

I have bought from them before....getting Dave the glass and bottle puzzles. Did you see them? Hope they are as nice as they look.....wood and puzzles, he will love it.

Gold?? Guess I was still thinking about the jewelry I was looking at Actually Golf.

Christin likes all those stores But I think Hollister is now on top of her list.

I did some christmas shopping tonight too...got a Martini shaker set for Astrid and got some cider for Colleen. I'm still looking for flavors of hot chocolate. I may have to hit the expensive mall and go to Harry and David's or the other cooking store around here (another expensive place!)

I then took Jarrod to the mall for Silent Dinner. I saw a lot of my former students and people that I've worked with in the past. It was fun. But I realized how out of shape I am with my signing. I really need to practice more...maybe I can get a job interpreting and get out of teaching!!! (like that will happen!!)

Gonna go put E to bed and then i'll be back to play!!

I forgot to say earlier that I know exactly where you are coming from with your students! Both my BIL and SIL are teachers for a boys correctional facility. Last year 2 of the boys jumped their "Group House Dad", killed him and stole his car. They were arrested 50 miles from the school, in their hometown. They now have to go for periodic training in how to protect themselves in the event of an attack.

Pam, I've tried Hollister as well. The sizes do run small. Seems to cater to the teeny girls. Dont' like the way most of it fits... has no room for curves. Though I like what they have for guys!
