Elaine, I think the BIG no no shirt was "who needs brains when you have these"....at least that was what all of the radio stations around here were talking about. There have also been many girlcots in the city. It is quite the big deal here. Go figure!

Okay, kid isn't ready for bed yet, so he's haning with grandma!!

Elaine...silent dinner is where all the deafies get together for conversation. Its a chance for the deaf community to get together and hang out and not feel like the one who is different. There were probably close to 100 ppl there tonight. It was fun!

Gold Lessons sound like more fun than golf!!

Liz...what book ya reading??

I saw those shirts on cnn...I thought they were pretty funny. I don't think they are any worse than some of the others I've seen (like "I was with what's his name last night" or something like that!).

Now I have to see who has sneated since I started this.

DD actually likes their jeans, hoodies, sleep pants, and the t-shirts that just have their logo. She's not a huge fan of sayings shirts.

DS has a lot worse from A&E and Fossil. I always cringe and wait for a phone call from school when he pops out the door in the morning.... but so ar he hasn't gotten in trouble. Shirts really aren't that bad - just a lot of innuendo.... I laugh at them, but I'm a bad girl, huh???

Tiara - hurry up and get in here because I am ready to crash!

The YaYa Novella......and Three to Get Deadly......the third of the Stephanie Plum series!! Very good book....maybe Lily will send you One and Two when she gets done with them.......And I will be geting 4, 5 and 6 tomorrow.....Oh how I love number and alphabet books.....Now if only Sue Grafton would hurry up and get hers out.....I think she is up to S now.

Pam - Alyssa is not big on the saying shirts either - or mostly just not big on wearing what everyone else has on - haha.

Chris has a variety if tee shirts - most aren't too bad - actually lately he's been wearing polo's and oxford type shirts from A&E - which is a nice change.

Don't get me started on the ripped Jeans though......

Liz...I read the first yaya book and loved it!! I've never seen the movie though. I was told the second book was not nearly as good and to not waste my time. So i didn't.

I read some of Sue Grafton's books a loooooooong time ago. I think that was A, B, and C!!

I'm actually reading Jane Eyre right now.

I have both of the Ya Ya books. They're good - but the first one is better. I liked the movie - that's me and my DD slamming the phone when the mom and daughter fight! :rotfl:

Just got off the phone with Michelle....I lent my iPod to the girls and it seems my iPod Shuffle has disappeared......Oh the sorrow...they said they are going to buy me a Nano instead of the Shuffle I had.....imagine my sorrow when they tell me they are going to get me a 4Gig one in place of my 1 gig shuffle......off to cry myself to sleep......and to think happy thoughts and HOPE they never find my old Shuffle...... :banana:

DD has an iPod Mini - DS just got the Nano. The Nano's screen scratches very easily. :guilty:

DS heard a rumor that they are recalling them because of the complaints -- but I don't know if it's true or not...
