About to finish baking chocolate chip cookies for tomorrow. We'll have friends over for lunch and until we need to leave for the other house.

HI everyone - I just lost a long post....

Been in my office yesterday and today - interviewing potential candidates for 2 available positions on my staff - long days!!
Had last night off - watched O.C.
Chris's counselor appt went well yesterday - he again said he likes talking to him - and I personally feel it's good to get a different perspective. I am going to try to get him a night appt so that my husband can bring him 1 week.
Jeffrey and I are going to see Alyssa tomorrow - coming home Sunday - Christopher has to wrk so he won't be able to come - I'm a little nervous - my husband told Chris he could stay home alone (I read the rrules - no going out - no having friends over - etc) - have already made arrangements for my dad to bring him to and from work....

Alan - loved the pics of REbecca and Pilot - and the Chik-fil-A saga.

Tara - hope you are feeling better and good luck on the surgery...

Evening, all.

Thank you so much. We had a special delivery from Harry and David...and it had something for everyone in the family. Kevin's going to enjoy the pears, I'll have the apples and moose munch, Neil the preserves and nuts and Ed the cheese and summer sausage, lol.

It was good to be back at work. My boss wrote me a lovely card-completely unexpected.

Got a couple of bug bites last night while sleeping. They woke me up several times because they were so gosh darn itchy. Didn't look too bad this morning, but now I've got two HUGE red areas on my leg and they're making Ed very nervous. He got cellulitis several years back from a spider bite. I've gotta keep my eye on it.

My brother left youngest sister a voice mail this morning, wanting to talk about the events with me. She's calling him and telling him "What happened in Florida, STAYS in Florida". If he persists, he will be sorry-she'll make my two blow ups look like small potatos, since she's got a lot more ammunition than I have!

Sorry it was a boring day around here.

Nancy, those cookies sound really yummy and I've got pears...hmmmm. Actually, once Kevin realizes we have pears, we'll be without them in a half day.

Lily, I'm so sorry your Teddy bear is away. He's doing a good thing by helping all those people.

Rosemary, so does this mean you're back home? I've decided I'm not thinking of long weekend vacation locations anymore, because if they're not WDW, they've been hit by a hurricane this year.

Karen, hope everything gets back to normal soon. I've got some baked ziti my best friend brought, some spaghetti sauce I made and some pork chops. Come get 'em!

Liz, you have to post again soon so that you can rid yourself of that curse.

Bethie, busy is best, IMO. You're doing great with that new job, girlfriend!
