Hope you are feeling better soon Elaine. Looks like I'll be in your neck of the woods on Saturday. The OMEA marching band competion is Saturday and I guess that Sue and I are officially chaparones. Ick. I already rode all the way to WDW and back on buses with these kids. Now it looks like an EARLY morning trip is in my immediate future. After the competition, I think we are stopping off at Polaris for a late lunch. My advice to you. Avoid Polaris on Saturday afternoon.

Maybe we can make plans next year for lunch. I always enjoy meeting you and Luis (and the rest of the Columbus area DISers). I guess I'll just have to wait until December to see you.

Moved my keyboard & mouse to my bed so I can stretch out the back. I'm sure if I take it easy tonight and actually do all the things I should do to keep it stretched, I'll be good in the morning..

Or I had better be, I'll hate it if Luis has to do too much due to me not moving much.

John, good luck on Saturday!!! That almost sounds like a nice trip I'm all for meeting next year (or any time you are in the area). Fortunately for us this year, we have a wedding to go to at 12:30 so we are booked solid on Sat.

Disneyland. Hmmm. I love DL, it'll always have a special place in my heart since it was the fist taste of Disney for me, buuut... the one thing I could do without is that rather... "compact" feel it has. When comparing the two (FL & CA) it is sometimes difficult to get passed that "scrunched up" feeling when in the CA park. Other than that though, it's wonderful.. and has many features that rank a bit higher than MK.

More bear babies Nancy? Where did you get them? I love the names!

I too, Love Disneyland.......we have gone off season and I didn't feel crowded at all.
I think summer at both is crowded....but the humidity isn't at DL.
One year ago on Halloween night we were dining at Club 33....I want to go back!!

After Monday.....I have my time back....well, almost. Still a couple little things to do with wedding pictures. But I have frames.....and a photo album...now to organize.

Grrr... trying to get my Sony Clie to hot sync with my computer and it won't right now. It was halfway done when the power cable was yanked so it didn't finish. Now it can't "talk" to my computer. Stupid

Working on taking it easy on the back... but I know because I wasn't sitting at my computer as much I am behind on PMs. Sorry

Back to this POS stuff I am trying to work with. I hate technology sometimes. I just am wanting to have this when I travel. 1st cuz it has a few books on it so I could read while flying, 2 I can listen to music on this one as well as my iPod (though I only have about 6 songs on this) and 3 it has all my WDW stuff (menus, and other such stuff) here!

Then Liz calls me to say that she is eating virtual chocolate cake (Suzanne is eating Chocolate Cake for her) she needed to do a virtual walk then so she could enjoy the virtual cake--would I walk it off for her? So since I was on TM already, I walked 2 more miles as we chatted.


I spend most of my time reading ketchup, but I'm kinda tired and won't respond more til later. I've got class tomorrow again. Probably not much 'puter Internet time.

DS is heading off to school this morning as one of the Blues Brothers. Instead of driving an old police car, he will be behind the wheel of his 'Stang.

DD is coming home from college tonight for the weekend. We plan to head back to the Pittsburgh way tomorrow to one of the bigger malls. I hope to finish up a lot of my Christmas shopping.

We got to MNSSHP last night-Ed's mom's treat. New fireworks were great, music was so-so. New parade is longer and better than last years. It was good to spend time with them.

Morning all... kind of cranky due to things that just didn't work last night. I went to bed after pitching a fit

So whomever is doing virtual stuff today. Please get a walk in for me as well as a grocery store run. vacuuming would be nice too!

I think I need to try one more thing... otherwise I might lose a lot of info on my laptop. It needs to be redone completely but I can't do anything until I get the last of the info on this desktop.

Which of course on the network is about a reliable as my cats are with being sweet and gentle with me

The little (big) booger was running late (he's trying to impress a girl and that has tripled his bathroom time in the mornings! ) - and he couldn't get his contacts in, and then he was fussing about the length of his suit's pants... and I left the room to search for something and yelled, "Bye, love ya, gotta go" and went out the door, so I NEVER got to see what he actually looked like!

He took my small digital camera and was supposedly getting photos of him and the other Blue Brother...... if he's smart, he will.....

Good morning, Ya Ya Family!! Got caught up answering PMs yesterday and ran out of time to ketchup. Laundry and errands day here, so need to keep this short.

Ummmmm.....Max & Erma's!! Tara, did you leave the hot fudge pump intact?! LOL!! I think I could make a meal out of the chocolate chip cookies and the ice cream sundaes--unfortunately, then I'd need a lot more than a virtual walk.

Nancy is creating an entire Spice family!! So good of you to give those poor BAB's a home, though. I have managed to resist the temptation thus far.

Paula, I am sooooooo happy to hear Chris liked the new counselor!! Prayers and PD headed your way that things will continue to improve. That "phantom phone" would have me a little nervous.

I decided I wanted to do MVMCP for my birthday, so we'll be doing it Tuesday, rather than on the 1st. We have that evening open, so if ya'll want to get together for dinner or anything, we're up for that!

Kim, my history with the Mouse is the same as yours! DL was my first experience (5 times, the summer of '78!!) and I absolutely LOVED it!! Quite a few years went by and the memory faded, then we did WDW and I loved that. It wasn't until last summer when I took Dave to DL for his b'day that I finally saw the difference. "Scrunched" is exactly how I felt!!! So, while DL was Walt's original dream, I will probably always prefer the new, improved version.

Poor Lily! Those darn classes keeping you away from the computer! Are you at least able to stay awake? I always have trouble not dozing off if it's just a lecture. So good of you to do the virtual walking for Liz!

Hope your back is doing better today, Elaine. I think I toted a few too many boxes yesterday, myself. Didja get your computer stuff all worked out? So frustrating, I know.

Well, I best get to it. Laundry isn't going to wash itself until I load it and turn the washer ON! Workin' the late, late shift tonight, so I'll try to drop in again before heading off to work. Ya'll have a wonderful Friday!!

Hi y'all! I am busy scrubbing bathroom floors this morning! Then soon I'll head to the store.

Oh yeah, clean the kitchen too! I haven't done this deep of a cleaning in both rooms in a few weeks.

Nancy, I am getting lucky, I am able to save quite a bit more with the stuff than I normally would've thought. I will be taking time soon to go through it all and organize it later. Find a few WDW trips (and no I haven't forgotten Chicago & DL for you either)

Two days ago I had no plans at all to be at WDW in December. Now, I have a MVMCP ticket for 12/1 (sorry Beth), Candlelight Processional plans for 12/4, and have volunteered to takeover making buttons for Karen's Jellyrolls meet. How did this happen???

Tonight is Senior Night at the high school football game where they honor the parents of seniors who are in football and/or marching band. So Sue and I will be there with our sweet baby James (who turns 18yo in just 2 weeks). My how time has flown. It's supposed to be 42 degrees at game time. Brrrrr. At least it's not raining much anymore.
