Hi all!

Just wanted to drop a quick note to let you know that the biopsy results are back and everything is once again perfect. So, I guess that's good that there is nothing seriously wrong with me, of course that doesn't explain stuff, but nothing bad is wrong with me :)

Elaine, when you finish cleaning your house, will you come take care of mine?

John, how did you get sucked into doing the buttons? LOL. Do you need some money towards the supplies?

That's all for now.

Back hurts

made list of all I need to do

will rest then get to it

including giving Cleo meds

John, not for one minute did I ever think you wouldn't go to WDW in Dec ;) So I guess you must be more shocked about all this than me :p

Sorry Karen, no cleaning there... I will be lucky to do mine
Glad that nothing is seriously worng with you. Just tell your body to behave now.

hi gang,

geez this has been a hectic day. No time to post and when I did have time the darn internet was down! ugh!

So this is a quick hi and bye. i'm headed to the scrapbooking store to scrap until midnight!! So you all take care of the boat, make sure the standard undergarments are being worn for tonight's show (see Pam I am worth something!! :teeth: ) I beleive Suzanne said that Alan was providing the refreshments and that Lily was going to be demonstrating the virtual exercise. Suzanne, as cruise director, also said something about the Cabana boys putting on some kind of show (the communication was a bit garbled here...but I believe she said made mention of the boys doing something with some strings :confused3 !! )

So have fun tonight!!! :earboy2:

Today must be my lucky day! When I added the first night of my trip in November, I was going to have to stay at Old Key West the first night. On a whim, I called up (since today is the 30 day mark) to see if they had anything available at the Boardwalk. Well, they had a standard view studio for me, which is what I already had booked for the rest of the week, so I was able to add that to my reservation! Now I only have to switch for my last night, which I have to do because I have some reservation points I have to use up :)

I volunteered, that's how. And besides, I just LOVE to make buttons.

It wouldn't feel right to NOT make some sort of button for my December WDW trip.

Tara, glad you gave out the orders... though I am looking forward to seeing the men use the strings right ;)

Karen, glad you got your room at BWV... I love OKW, but I would rather not switch much if I were you either.

John, you do make some good buttons! Whatcha got planned for the meet? :)

Cleo's drugged... in a while I will get to the rest of the house. Luis will be doing something in the bathroom for me since I can't reach

Jordan had his keyboard recital at school today. He did really well. :) :)

Wow, Nancy, what a cute BaB family you have. ::yes::

JRKaren...glad the biopsy went so well ::yes::
Good news about the room too. Sounds like it is a good day for you.

Me?? Still sewing....I take too many breaks  BUT I see the light at the end of the tunnel :)

Thanks, Sherry.....4 more will be coming  I need to stop looking.

Quick hi here... busy cleaning still. Took a break to eat some chili and mac & cheese then a hot fudge sundae ::yes:: At least Luis is here to help out. Between fixing the computers and cleaning I am beat so far.

Gonna be a long day tomorrow too......

Alan :rotfl:
You are too funny and too cute! I knew I liked ya for a reason!

Sherry, glad to hear that Jordan did well on his first recital!

Nancy, good luck with sewing! I know what you mean about too many breaks

Well speaking of which, my back is hurting again (happens when I sit too long) so I had better get back to cleaning. See ya :wave2:

I'm almost done!! :hyper:

Side seams of vest after Christin tries it on and the lacing in the front. Tomorrow it will be over!!

Take a break, Elaine ;)

Christin is due any minute and then I will lose the computer for the night, so see you all tomorrow

Woo hoo!!! Yay for you Nancy!!!

I'm done for the night... which means I will spend my time resting my back.

I won't be around much at all tomorrow given that people should be here between the wedding and the reception. Right from the reception we are going to Dawn's party! So I'll mostly be back on Sunday (if I am not dead)

In the mean time off to find a cabana boy that is free to get a full massage. Got my lower back feeling better at the expense of the upper... can't win here ;)

ALAN! What are we going to do with you??? :rotfl2:

To all who assured me that my son would not dare to incur the Wrath of Pam -- well, no pics. :guilty:

The other boy chickened out and didn't wear a costume - so DS was a solo Blues Brother. He didn't take any photos at school. But he did pose for a couple for me, when he got home from school, minus the fake sideburns, harmonica, and briefcase. He promises to get photos of him and another friend who are t-n-t'ing on Monday as the Brothers...... we shall see......

Quick hi here... the problem with singing at weddings is you have to get there early to rehearse... so, I'll be getting ready soon for that. I have to iron our costumes too (not for the wedding, but for after at another party).

Pam, that's too bad that his friend chickened out with the costume though! If you get any pics of your son, please share! I love that movie ::yes::

As for what to do with Alan... I have an idea (or two or three) but I don't think the powers that be would allow me to discuss them here :p

Tiara dear... how was the scrapping party?

Happy Saturday everyone - I've already worked 7am - 9am - DH at a doctors appt - just woke Chris - de-ticked the dog and gave her Heartguard and Frontline.....whew - tired already - haha

Now it's off to shower and cleaning.

Beth - I'm with you - I think it's only fair to give laundry a chance to do itself ....if it's so good at multiplying it should have no problem vaulting into the machine.... :rotfl:
Tara....hope the scrapping went well - I think that will be my winter project. Sadly I had to work last night and missed the Cabana boy performance.....I hope there will be reviews.....
JRKaren - so very happy to hear the biopsy was negative...and a big woohoo for Boadwalk!!
John....henceforth to be known as "button boy" :earboy2:
Alan - hope you and the girls are faring ok......looking forwrd to updates on Rebecca and Pilot :sunny:
Sherry - Bravo to Jordan!!!!! :cool1:
Nancy - still sewing??? Can't wait to see the finished project. :earsboy:
Elaine - weddings - singing - costumes- you are one busy lady....hope the back is better today. :)
Pam...so I guess your son was the "surviving" Blues Brother?? :sunny:

I have the rest of the day off - nothing planned - Jeffrey says he's going to make soup....so no cooking either. Talked to Alyssa last night - her and her suite mates volunteered to give out candy to Trick or Treaters from the Boys and Girls Club - in her words "they were pretty ghetto mom" - haha - Ryan is there for the weekend - last might a bunch of them were watching Saw - in preperation to see Saw2 today.....they are all going to Fright Fest at Six Flags tomorrow.

Phantom phone still ringing at 11:35pm....
Had a bit of a scare yesterday - or more like a panic moment....I have what used to be called a "Christmas Club" account - (probably dating myself here) - used to be a coupon book that you deposited into every year and before christmas got the check - well in recent years Fleet changed it so that they were deducting the $$ from my checkbook every week then just redepositing it in October.....I was ok with that - I got into the habit of not adding it in so I would not spend it....but still knew it was there - so I go to the ATM yesterday - knowing in the back of my mind that $$ will be in checking...well - it's not - I panic - where did it go???? Call the bank (now Bank of America) - they don't redeposit it into checking any more - they just leave it in the seperate savings account - which is probably better. Now the reason I am most upset is that I remember getting paperwork when the Bank of America change took place and had it in the back of my mind that 'something " with Christmas Club would be different this year - I asked at the bank 3 weeks ago and they said "oh no -no changes it will be re-deposited"......so much for that.

And last but not least - had 6 wild turkeys (the flying gobble-gobble kind) in my back yard this morning - wish I would hve seen then before putting Casy out - she spooked them......

More later......

Good morning.

Yep...only 2 seams to go ;) (double stitiching...that material is a PITA!) and the ribbon lacing to do.

Planning Disney dining today....just read where you can book 180 days out now (of course I will still be 90 by the time I get to it).

Have fun at the wedding and party Elaine.

I think scrapping will be one of my winter projects too. I have to schedule it in or it will never happen.....haven't even used that room yet :(

Paula....have you tried unplugging that phone .....if it still rings, that is scary

Ugh...grumpy old lady today. Worked the crop at the store last night and didn't head home till 1AM. We have a visit from corporate coming up next week, so we are frantically trying to get all the projects done for the Holiday feature set, get 11 endcaps changed out to brand new merchandise and make a new display sample for each one, wade through 25 pages of a markdown list and get all the product re-ticketed and get the store looking "Grand Opening Ready". Ahh, the joys of retail!! On top of that, our former District Mgr. wanted us to get every bit of product out on the floor, even if it meant we had 8 hooks full of the same thing in any one section. Our new DM wants us to keep stuff in backstock and replenish as needed--MUCH more pleasing to the eye and it will mean customers won't be knocking other stuff to the floor reaching for a single item. So now we are reworking the entire store. I KNEW this job was going to be a real learning experience and would bring all new stresses to my life, but I never expected it would happen all in one month! Despite my whining, I AM still enjoying it, don't get me wrong. So much so, that when the boss asked me to come in Sunday night after closing to set up the new Holiday stuff, I agreed with no hesitation--even though this is my weekend off! I still have today and most of tomorrow to run errands and work on Mt. Laundry.

three cheers for negative biopsy results!! Boo-hiss for still not knowing what the problem is.
Yay for BWV!!
Yay for Jordan's recital!!
Yay for costume almost done!!
Boo on the bank mis-information!!
Yay for wedding and Halloween party!!
Yay for cabana boys and dancing with strings!! :earseek:
Yay for "button boy"!! :love2: Your efforts are MUCH appreciated!
Boo for phantom phone!!
Yay for scrapping and getting a break from being "Mom"!!
Boo for no pix of the Blues Brother!!

:moped: I'm outta here!! :grouphug:

howdy gang!! So where are the reviews for the boys from last night...wow! Yo all must have skipped the show last nigh!!

Scrapping was fun. My former ASM from tDS went with us. I got 3 pages done. I have to take pictures because I think some of you might recognize a few people!!

Was going to take the brats..uh, I meant the darling children of mine, to the zoo this morning. But they both woke up on the wrong side of the friggin planet. After jarrod argued about breakfast, refused to eat, and then whined about everything else. We finally said to heck with it, we weren't taking him if he was going to act like that (this is the point he usually straightens up and becomes loveable....) so he said "fine, I want to stay home anyway! grrr! then Ethan grumped all the way through breakfast, knocked his tray off the high chair and screamed when we tried to feed him (then screamed when we took it away). We tried letting him feed himself...he finally ate....about 30 minutes later. So I screw it, I wasn't taking this bunch of animals to the zoo...I would have ended up leaving them there. So it has been a pleasant day around my house.

Anyway, gotta go check on lunch for the crew!!!!

Back later!

I promise to be in a better mood when I return!!
