Yeah, I was listening to that song a lot yesterday. I needed it, and somehow it's exactly what made things a bit better. I found their lyrics for it online too n their website. Half the time, that song puts me to tears.

As for kitties, Kimmie do you reward her wiht treats and brushings just after you giv her the medicine? That seems to have helped us here a lot! Cleo was mighty ticked at me on Friday & Sat (I think that was it). We changed it up a bit and she does much better when she's reminded of her treat and brushing!

It's a beautiful song isn't it? Yesterday was the first chance I'd had to really focus on the lyrics, then I came home and saw your tag! Very cool moment actually. It's a very heartfelt song. Who wrote it? I need to go check on that. I have a guess.


I've been doing the combing with Purrs whenever I medicate her. She tolerates it for a bit, but... frankly she's just a crab and honestly... I think she just hates everyone except Cameron. LOL!! She's old (16) and just plain cranky.

Good morning, all! Gorgeous day, here, today--broke out a sweater to wear since the weather is a bit cooler. Loving it!!

Lily, You amaze me with your ability to ketchup with such a minimal number of words! Good job, girlfriend!! Sounds like you had a very active weekend, with all that training and exercise. I feel like such a slug in comparison......give me a red sweater, cat-eyeglasses on a chain and call me Roz. Glad you had some good ketchup time with your GF, too. Bet it felt really good!

Sorry about the trouble giving the kitties their meds. And I thought it was bad trying to get the little kids to swallow theirs!! I don't suppose you could just mix it with a can of tuna?

Poor Kimmie--must be feeling like a taxi driver lately with having to schlepp Cam back and forth to classes and all. Someday he will tell you how much he appreciates it--he probably doesn't realize it yet, though. I can certainly sympathize with the lack of sleep. Hope that improves for you soon, no fun being a walking zombie!

Nancy, hope your furbabies are OK, despite not liking "their place" anymore. Hope your trip is ON for the weekend, too! Sending good weather and no work for Dave vibes in your directions!! How's it going for Christin, with her enforced job search?

Hoping those aching muscles don't hold up your work plans for today, Laine. Maybe those outside chores are just what is needed to warm them up and stretch out all the kinks.
