Me, three! Me, three!! I HATE anything scary, gory, bloody! :guilty: (Well - except for Roadkill! )

Yeah, Nancy - can't wait to see pics!! I bet the costume turned out great!! :goodvibes

I don't like bloody, gory unless it is an important part of the story line. I find the unknown and imagination much more frightening::yes::
I like scary.....but I haven't found much scary anymore :(

We'll see on how great it is. I am NOT a seamstress.....and it sure tested my patience. Between an old, old machine and material that was being a PITA and the hard to find ingredient, I almost tossed it in the trash....but it cost over $100
NO more!!
Camera.....need to remember that ;)

I need to clean house and do laundry.,....but I don't wanna :(

BTW, of course I sparkled in chat Pam..I was the new guy so I was all new and sparkly.

     We Ya Yas just loooooove a sparkly man!!!

Pam, it was a pic of scenery showing you pretty mountains and such... I've seen the car one so much now it doesn't get to me though ;)

So even with your honey gone, you are able to make yourself look new and presntable? Now if you can cook, I will think you aren't a real man (ly/mi)

Nancy, I actually don't get bothered by gore if it is in an action movey. Just don't like scary. My imagination goes away from me. You can imagine how hard it was for me to shower after I read "Psycho" (no one was home either) I'm just pathetic like that :teeth:

Oh I am sure it came out great too... you really impressed me with that costume you were making. I'm not sure I would've had the guts to do it!

oh and Pam loves sparkly men so much, she offers to help bathe them regularly ;)

Been doing laundry and other such stuff I left yesterday. We didn't get any time at all to clean up after the people on Saturday. Wasn't too bad, but had some crystal I had to wash by hand. Going to run the vacuum downstairs since the kitties are upstairs sleeping :)

Hi everyone - Halloween hater here - sorry - no real reason - just never "got into it" - was actually happy when I got to tell my kids "this is the last year" - I think they were in 3rd and 5th grade. Maybe because we live in such a rural area - it w snot a "neighborhood activity" - had to be driven from house to house- never went to any parties - etc.

Anyway......

:rockband: :cake: :bday: :thewave:
Happy Happy Birthday to Jarred and Lela!!!!

Gotta tell you about last night supper.....Pam - you will love it.......grilled venison loin and homemade bread - made with grains from beer brewing!!!!
It was soooooooo good!!

Repeat after me folks..."I will not play hoookey tomorrow, I will not play hookey tomorrow...I will...." :teeth:

Woohoo!! LeCellier is no longer a 2 table dining credit restuarant!!!! It is only a one now!! Woohoo!! That means I can plan another chracter meal for this trip!! woohoo!!!

Hi all - just wanted to tell you that I got a BAB flyer in the mail today - really really cute outfits for Christmas......

House is clean.
Laundry is done.
Headed out soon with a load of costumes.
I am headed to the mall.....gotta leave here early to miss the traffic :teeth:
BaB is one of my regular stops when I get to the mall. I hope they have the Christmas things in or it will be a couple weeks before I get back.

Just so you don't think I'm a total Halloween Grinch....

Awwww Paula, how cute!!!
And I never thought you were a Halloween Grinch... then again I don't have that much room to talk ;)

Tara, take the day off! Go on do it!!! You only live once :)
Just out of curiosity, when are you eating at Le Cellier?

Nancy, hope y'all had fun tonight!!!!!

Btw, Kimmie, guess what I got in the mail today... a day early!!!!! :hyper:

LOL, Alan... if Luis didn't love it so much....

though btw, Star Wars fans.. get the Glow in the Dark Milkyway! They are really cool :teeth:

I'm off to meet a group... kind of not wanting to talk about it too much in case I jinx it, so just wish me luck ;)

Happy Birthday Jared!!

Happy Birthday Lela!!

Happy day parents!

Elaine, meant to say that those wedding pics were looking like it was a fantastic event. I'm glad you managed to get into one of them.

Tara, go to work! No hookey for you!

I like Halloween, not the blood and gore, just the fun parts. The changing of the season and all. Still adjusting to the time change. I don't mind that either. I like it when it is lighter in the evenings so I can go out an do my walking thing. More fun when I can see where I walk!

Paula, love your pic!

Elaine...God Luck!

I'm off to hunt around now...

Hi all... lots of candy left... looks like Luis didn't hand out enough ;)

I went and joined a knitting group... I knew a few from church and they out of the blue invited me. Considering how rough I had it before, I couldn't say no. so... my first few rows have issues ;) but it'll get there. And they were very patient with me at least :) It would be nice if I could knit a scarf by the end of the winter :teeth:

Anywho, me tired... so I'll catch y'all in the morning :)

Quiet evening in here.

We had so much fun!!

Hope pictures came out. Dave and I were so funny. We had to put our costumes on once we stopped in the neighborhood, because they were too big to sit in. Hard to try to put them on, keep them clean (wet and dirty street).

Christin and Desia got loads of compliments and filled their goodie bags.
We got lots of comments too. One lady wanted her camera to take our picture

For anyone interested about Yankee candles. Heard all the rumors floating around about big changes, so I stopped at the store to ask them.
New head guy is changing lots.
No more scent of the month, no more deals on tarts and votives.
He will have a special of the week.....guess you have to just go in to find out what it is :confused3
And all the prices are going up :(

I stayed up late just to get these done.

THE costume....lots of frustration, time and money, but it did come out nice. She looked great!

Dave and me....not so great. Only one shot. It was dark. Dave hadn't been straightened out yet  Collar in, shoe not covered. We fixed that later.
I think we will have to put them on again at home and get a better picture.

Hello and goodbye.

JellyrollsKaren

P.S. Scotty is back to work.

Nancy - ya done good, girl!!! :cool1: :Pinkbounc :cheer2: The costume turned out great and Christin is so very beautiful!

You and Dave just "quack" me up!! :teeth: You both look terrific!!

Well - we had 8 trick-or-treaters. 5 middle school age ones and 3 elementary --- no tiny tots. :guilty:

DS went with a couple of friends to the parade - at the last minute the other boys chickened out of dressing, but DS and he was a finalist for Best Costume! He didn't win, but still was pretty happy! I got a couple of snapshots before he left, but it was dark. Don't know how well they turned out.

JRKaren - yay! Scotty's back!!

Morning, all.

Thanks for all the well wishes. Wake is today, funeral tomorrow. One of my sisters flew in Saturday night and got to see mom before she passed. She'd been comatose for over a day, but my sister insists she woke up when she was talking to mom.

Give me strength for dealing with some of the relatives. My godmother lives about an hour away (a snowbird), she just got down here last week. Now that she knows I'm down here, she'll probably expect me to do what she expected mom to-drop everything and take her on her errands. Her last words to mom were 'f off', when she asked my mom to take her shopping last year and mom told her she couldn't. This was when my mom fractured her ankle.

We did have a little bit of fun-went with the boys trick or treating, while my sister handed out candy. Around 9, a few teens knocked on the door and Ed gave them each a handful of snickers and reese's peanut butter cups. It was funny, they said "Wow dude, THANKS!" I think Ed was remembering his days of doing the same thing.

I'll check in as I can...

Suzanne
