Elaine, ouch! You must be made of rubber cuz ya bounced back. Now, I guess I would have broke! Nomorestairsforyou.
Tara, hope you get some sleep tonight. Seems always the time we need it the most is when we are disrupted by those young 'uns. Enjoy the trip to the field.
I decided to do nothing instead tonight. Watching House now too.

Evening, all! Offically on a day off, after seven in a row!!

Congrats, Caroline! Yalie girl, alright!

Brain fry here, forgetting all the ketchup I wanted to do.

Nancy, LOVE the Melting Pot. My two close friends took my family there the last night we were in Maryland. That said, my family and Heather and Jill probably ran about 200 bucks...but it was worth every penny. Delicious! You're not kidding that it's gonna be good preparation for Christin's wedding. Hmmm, that reminds me that we've got entertainment book privledges there, lol!

Susie, I say the dance counts...Karen's a tricky one there, she shouldn't be the only yaya deciding on this! (Love ya Karen!)

Elaine, I have the official title of 8th dwarf, Clumsy. Please leave all falling, tripping and general clumsiness to me!

The boys are ill. I'm hoping the fevers are gone in the morning. Neil's class is supposed to go to the Strawberry Festival, and he'll be disappointed if he doesn't go. My mom will also be bummed if we don't head over to her tomorrow.

Okay, I really can't remember anything anymore and I can blame the painkillers cuz I haven't had any yet!

Suzanne

Glad you finally get a day off, Suzanne....but sorry the boys are sick :( Hopefully whatever they have won't last long.

I am happy with the restaurant we ended up with.....guess it costs more, but I think it will be fun and everyone will have a good time. We're looking at $40 pp......but oh, well

:rotfl:
Trust me, I am not made of rubber... I just have a tendency to ignore pain and other such stuff after I do thinks like that ;) I'll be careful from now on :teeth:

Awww Suzanne, dang it, I thought I was the 8th dwarf with the dame of Klutzy! I do hope your boys are feeling better soon :)

Nancy, I am sure you will have tons of fun! I might have to go to Melting Pot here and see what it's like :) I'm just sorry I won't get to see Pam & Alan in action :p

I should go get dressed for work... I hope y'all have a great day :)

Bethie, I'm mad at you again! We got more snow last night, and a lot of it. It's weird, but the way the drifting went, we got like 8-14 inches of the junk, and our neighbor got next to nothing. It's all your fault, Bethie. Thanks a lot.

Hello to everyone else! No time to catch up because I had to shovel this morning, but a quick congrats to our new Yalie nerd!

JellyrollsKaren

Good Morning!
Julian just barely made it on the bus this morning. :rolleyes1
Been one of those mornings.

Elaine, sorry to hear about your tumble. Glad your OK.

Nancy, yay, glad you found a restaurant. I've never heard of the Melting Pot.

JRKaren, ick on the snow! We only got a dusting.

Morning Ya Yas!
Morning Klutzy and Clumsy!
JRKaren, I was feeling bad as we have more snow too--not that much. I'm happy about that I guess.
Sherry, I hope your day improves. I don't like mornings that start out like that.
Suzanne, hope you can enjoy your day off and that those guys feel better.
Everyone, have a healthy happy day.
Later...

Good morning....have training shortly for 3.5hrs

Sherry....I don't miss those mornings. Now that Mandy sleeps till 7:30 Todd gets to deal with the mornings :cool1: Although she does have picture day tomorrow, so she will get up at 5:30 for me to get her hair done...her request.

Nancy...$20pp :earseek: It better be terrific. For some reason I always think the more food cost the less you get.... :rotfl: As work we went to an upscale restaurant that had all that decorative drizzle stuff on the plate and hardly any food. :confused3

Karen...snow was here yesterday also. For some reason I knew you would blame Beth, I was even considering it. :rolleyes1

Elaine...glad the stair thing is behind you and you survived.

Tara...hope your field trip goes well.

Caroline..congratulations.

Bonnie...nice to see you stop by. You need to stay longer:)

We have Girl Scouts tonight. Every other week is packed...with Gymnastics (every week), Girl Scouts (every other week) and visit to my Dad. I miss my home at times.

Have a terrific day everyone! I'm off to my meeting.

:wave2:

Darn DIS ate my post of 2 hours earlier!

Nancy - glad you got a restaurant booked - but $$$$$$$ :faint:

The 8th dwarf is actually names "Hungry". I know that for a fact. Haven't you ever heard that it wasn't until their numbers dwindled from 50 to 8 that the other dwarfs started to suspect Hungry.

Mebbe ya better get yer cabana boy to kiss da boo-boo and make it feel aww-bedda!! :teeth:

Yeah, Kimmie, Constantine is starting to get on my nerves, too! (although he's from the town right next door to where my DSis, AspiringCindy, lives!)

Didja catch the 'ladies nite'?? Someone, PLEEEEEZE get rid of Jessica!!! :guilty: (I thought Vonell sang pretty well, considering she sang an Aretha song!)

Morning all! Feels like a lazy day here.
Elaine sorry to hear about your little tumble. Sounds like something that would happen to me. Well actually I did fall on our stairs before butt (pun intended) I landed on my back side with plenty of padding! Although it was still sore the next day :)

Morning yayas!

I officially earned the title of Clumsy during a glorious three month time where I 1. fell down my ice slicked back steps and fractured my tailbone, 2. slashed my palm with the dull end of a brand new knife at work and 3. I fractured my radius ulna and made such a mess of my wrist that I required later surgery!

But I'm glad to keep company with other dwarves, Klutzy and Hungry. However, Hungry, you at too many of them dwarves-you're now too tall to be classified as a dwarf!

Kevin climbed into bed with me at 5am and he was on fire...102. He stayed home today. Neil's fever broke and when Ed asked him if he wanted to go to school, he was so fast to say "yes!" that I started laughing. The idea of going to the Strawberry Festival was a good one on the teachers part.

JRKaren, you're just getting four years quota of snow in one winter-just like I got three hurricanes this year and we're predicted to get two or three more this year. I'm not blaming anyone for my hurricanes, I just need to check the names of this year's storms-if they're named after relatives, I am sooo in trouble.

Elaine, If you like any fondue, you'll love Melting Pot. We make it here regularly, so it was nice to go there and not have to do all the prep. We did the court boullion and another one--thanks to having salmon there and a friend making crab stuffed salmon a few nights before, I now eat it. If you have an entertainment book, check their website-sometimes MP isn't in the book, but on there. Depends on the location.

Only saw the first night of AI in my hotel room. Liked Constantine then, guess he's getting on people's nerver.

Gotta get some grub, yack at you later!

Suzanne

You do have a sweet boy... I cannot wait to see him again
:Pinkbounc

My turn/check the mail. Check. :rolleyes1

Yay for the Melting Pot, Nancy! Hey it's only money, right? :p

Snork!! Jessica/AI. Actually, I like her voice, but she keeps forgetting to put her clothes on before she comes out to sing. What's up with that? Constantine. Oye. He kind've creeps me out. Vonzell was adorable! I also like Nadia. Janay and Mikayla are painful to watch. :scared:

http://www.meltingpot.com/

Here you go for anyone that wants to check it.
Geoff and M'Cori love it and were so happy to hear that is the place.
It is also only about 3 miles from the pier.

Yes, Pam.....$$$ At least it isn't the 150 people for the wedding....I only get the drink bill for that one  :faint:

Elaine, are you still sore today?
Suzanne....glad one of the boys is feeling better.
Sherry....can't remember how many times I had to drive a kid to school because they missed the bus
Amanda.....awww, that is nice that Mandy will get up so early so you can fix her hair.
Sorry for all of you that are getting more snow.

Hope everyone had a nice day. I am planning on playing online a lot today until time to leave for the airport.....helps pass the time ;)

I still think we could have done a Roadkill Brown Paper Bag Lunch for a lot less $$$$$, Nancy!!

Oh well - at least I have a shot of designing and sewing your dress!! :rotfl:

I am taking notes on all of this - I hope my kids elope..... :faint:

Morning everyone,

Snow (again) - Cold ( again) - it will never end!!
My flip-flop girl came home in the freezing rain yesterday - feet were a little chilly. Christopher's TV got fixed $75 - man I wish that kid had a job - lol.

Deena - :wave2: glad to hear the cough is better.

John - have fun on the band trip - I did that (as a band member back in ..dare I say......1974......!!!!! I will keep you in my prayers for your ENT consult.

Nancy - Lily's rainwear is quite spiffy!!! Gotta love those "aunties" to send good gifts.

Elaine - were you thinking about the laptop as you were falling?? Hope you are not stil hurting today.

Tara - :wave2: hope you were able to get a good nights sleep.

Suzanne - glad to hear one of the boys is feeling better - field trips are great healers!!

JRKaren - hating this snow right along with you.

Going to try and get some reading done today before work - I'll pop in again later.

:grouphug: to everyone I missed!!

:flower:

Encourage them to elope....I am going to offer Christin $$$ to do so, it will still be cheaper.
I used to do that with birthday parties.....Geoff always took the $, Christin the party, so I think I am doomed.

You can still do the after-wedding reception party....yes, there is one

I see no Lily in that last post

Hi all... got super busy this morning, and I do think I am behind definitely now... oh well.

Anywho... I'll do a quick ketchup now ;)

JRKaren sorry about the snow and drifts! We had a lot of wind which is why my driveway was clear this morning :teeth:

Sherry, hope the day gets better :)

LOL, Lily! I hope you are having a good day!

Wow, have fun getting up so early tomorrow Amanda! Hope the training wasn't too bad.

Pammy, do we need to hurt the DIS for eating yoru post?

John :rotfl: pity there were so many dwarfs lost :p

Haven't watched much of AI... refuse to get into it. I will say I saw Mikalah (sp?) last night and she was absolutely paintful to hear!!!!!

Deena, I am a klutz, and have had bad falling spells... just in that I seem to trip and fall easily and often during some times. Last time I did it badly, I wrenched my shoulder pretty bad. This time I think my back took the hit.

Suzanne, you sound like you are in good company with me ;) SOrry that Kevin was so bad off last night.
Honestly I have never tried fondue before, but I have heard many like it there and I am willing to try new things once in a while.

Just less than 2 months now Kimmie :teeth:

Nancy, very sore and stiff today... I could go on with what hurts, but I'll just move on. I'm just glad I can sit down most of the day!

Paula, feel better soon! And yep, honestly that was about my first thought. I was at the bottom of the stairs crying and the first thing I said to Luis when he made it to me was "check the laptop please" He was worried about me, and I was worried about my toy :teeth:

Oh and Nancy, we'll all be glad to do the after reception party! I know my dad had one, but I kind of didn't go :p

Well, Miss Elaine, my day has gotten lots better. I received my package today! :bounce: :bounce:
Thank you so much for all the wonderful stuff. I love it all....and so does Sissy. ::yes::
I got the cutest flip flops, lots of yummy smelling YC tarts, the cutest pom pom head bunny socks, a wind-up rooster that lays "eggs", :teeth:, Moonlight Path B&BW lotion and spray (which I had never smelled and love it!), a cute bunny basket, egg coloring kit (the boys will love it!), and lots of eggs filled with candy and Cadbury Creme Eggs! Yummy! Sissy also got a cute bunny t-shirt and the cutest pink sandals. :bounce:
Thank you so much!
