Good Morning! Sure didn't want to get up this a.m.

Beth-sure hope you made it to work safe and sound.
Sherry-Fingers crossed that the flu is not making a visit at your house.

ELAINE: Hope you are having a wonderful trip and your birthday is extra special.

Liz- I'm looking for one of these :dancer: to keep around for a while. Met any available ones lately. :teeth:

Hope everyone has an extra wonderful, extra special, extra lovely day!

 puckerup: :rose:

Good morning.

Beth.....stay safe.

Hope Todd gets that shift, Amanda.

A-cleaning I go :wave2:

I'm glad everyone enjoyed my visit with Murphy!! I made sure to leave him at home this morning!! Didn't want a repeat of yesterday.

Kristy....i saw on that site with the wdw scrapper info they have a virginia beach one!! It is sold out on saturday but I will have to keep my eyes on that site for any other sites after I get going on my books!! Congrats on getting to wdw!!!

Liz...ugh weight isn't going. I fell of hte wagon and hit hard. But I started this morning with lots of water and my oatmeal. I have my salad already for lunch so hopefully I can get back on track. I've kept off what I already lost but I haven't been able to get any more off!!

Well, I gotta work. More later!
tara

Morning Yayas!

I've been away too long so I'm going to go back to yesterday to ketchup:

Tara - a belated Happy B-day to you! Sorry I missed it.

Belated birthday wished to anyone else I missed.

Rose Mary - PD & prayers for you, SIL and family.

All you snowbound people - I hope it warms up soon! They are predicting light snow here in Dallas tomorrow evening.

Are there any brownies left or am I too late?

Suzanne - when Lauren was 1 1/2 - 2 her favorite movie was Cinderella. As soon as her eyes opened she would look at me and say "rella?" She could watch it over and over. Also, hope that sundae was as good as it sounds!!

Karen, sorry to hear you weren't feeling well yesterday. Hope you are better today.

Will have to do more later.

Paula - love your doggie!

I thinks thats all the ketchingup I can do for now.

I also want to say that since JRKaren is coming to town, and it looks like we are going to a piano bar (I vote Addison) that I can finally do my Ya-ya initiation dance.!!

Hi Ya Yas!
Sorry about being so mia. I have been extremely busy at work and haven't had any break time for DISing really.

I won't try that ketchup as so recently well performed by Liz. Thank you Liz.

Suzanne, I have been thinking of you and sending PD, prayers and positive energy that all went well. Glad to hear from Liz's ketchup that all is progressing.

Elaine is on her way to I hope a wonderful week.

Beth, hope the trip in wasn't too bad for you. Ice skating tips given by Ono. Maybe one of our Ya Yas would let him show you how it's done.

Amanda, PD, prayers and positive energy that Todd gets that shift.

We made our annual trip to Middletown, OH this weekend to visit with my friend and her family. It was a bit icy in and 'round Dayton/Cincinnati. We made it in Friday just before the ice hit and had a lovely visit. It was a nice drive back home.

More later...

Hello ALL my Ya Ya friends!!! Ok so this is TOTALLY 100% about Me today!!
and a HUGE TOTAL VENTING!!!!!!!!!! Readers Be Ware !!!!!! :guilty:

:worship: PleaseeeeeeI am begging!!
My In Laws soooooooooooo NEED to GO !!!!!!

My MIL & SIL are such PIGS it is unbelievable :earseek:

Today my husband's niece's (who is almost 2 ) oatmeal bowl is on the kitchen table with oatmeal still it, napkins stuck to the 2 spoons with crusted oatmeal on them. Her half glass of backwashed applejuice and a snotty tissue are also on the Kitchen Table. The opened package to the instant oatmeal and some cheerioes are on the counter.
The bottle of earring cleanser ( she just got her ears pierced on Friday) opened with the drenched cotton balls are on the Kitchen counter.
The 1/4 eaten cupcake on the kitchen table and the half of icing with the dirty knife on a plate on the counter (too much icing for niece)
THEN my living room has books and toys all over the place. Used clothes and the pillows and blankets (at least they folded the couch/bed up) are all sprawled on the couch soooooooo I can't even sit on MY OWN Couch in MY OWN livingroom :crowded: because I REFUSE!!!!! to clean up after them AGAIN!!!

PLEASE remind me why I said it was OK for my mil & sil to stay the week!!!
I am sooooooo counting down til they leave on Wednesday!! :hourglass

I understand she is 2 but between my MIL & SIL you would Think  that 1 of them would be so nice as to CLEAN up their mess!!!!! BEFORE both of them went out... (at least the house is quiet right now)

DH, DS & I are Overly Clean People compared to mil & sil... :guilty:

I can't even go into my kitchen because If I do I know I will clean up after the piggies and i am NOT going to do it this time!!! Enough is enough...

THANK YOU for listening...I feel alittle better right now!! But Not enough..

OH and IF my DH WAS home and Not at work...I Know for a 100% Fact that the mess would of been cleaned up FAST because he already yelled at his sister for leaving wet diapers in the garbage cans in the house, on the floor, etc and said take those things OUTSIDE!!!!

:faint:
hope you are all having a better day then me!!!

Wow, Stacey, sounds like you have a handful there! I say leave it until your DH gets home so he can see what a mess they are making. In the meantime, just think of your laughing place!! :flower:

Afternoon all!

Ok Celebrity sitings are in abundance. So far, I know people who know people ;) who have seen: Billy Joel :faint: , Tom Cruise w/8 body guards, Robin Williams & Janet Jackson  . Thought I was staying in this weekend but, I might have to go sight seeing :teeth: . However, I would probably walk right by any famous person that was around, LOL.

Hang in there Stacey only a few more days to go. Yucky! How can people be like that in another person's house? I don't care if they are relatives.

:wave2: Lily! Long time no see. Glad you had a nice weekend.

Tara-I'm with you. Fell off the bandwagon due to this bronchitis stuff I've had but, trying to jump back on today. It's still moving a little fast for met tho' ;)

Ok, back to work for a living.

 puckerup: :rose:

...to Tara and Elaine!! [have a great time, E!]

Good morning, yo-yo's!!!

Yes, I stayed safe this morning! Didn't slip or slide a single time! Only ice was in our parking lot at home and our street. Took it slow and careful then breezed on into work on the nice clear main roads.

Rose Mary!!! Good grief, girl!!! Get your Ray Bans and take a walk! Sounds like the "Beautiful People" are arriving!! I'm with you, though, I'd probably walk right on by and not recognize anybody :rolleyes2

Oh, Stacy!! What a PITA!!! I agree, you must stay OUT of the kitchen and let DH do the clean up if they aren't going to clean up after themselves. Wonder if they live like that at home?! YUCK!!!

Hi ya, Lily!! I know just what you mean about being so busy at work. Hope things ease up on you and you can come visit a bit more this week. After all, with Elaine gone, it's up to the rest of us to keep the Ya Ya thread from getting buried! Glad to hear you had a good visit with your friend and her family. My sister lives in Middletown, too! You did give Peggy a shout-out while you were there, didn't you?!

Tara, I confess--the wagon moved on without me, too. I was so proud last Monday when I was down 11 lbs!! I think it was probably better for me that I didn't remember to step on the scale this morning. :guilty: I was checking out that scrapping weekend in VB, too, but having Sat. sold out kinda screws it up. We might have been able to hook up for a bit!

Amanda! I didn't realize that Todd had put in for the first shift! That would be soooo great for you! I'll be keeping my fingers crossed and saying prayers for that one!!

Gotta look busy, again--boss is back from lunch. Dang, why does he have to make it so quick sometimes?!

Headed out of work to take Jarrod to the dr. this afternoon. He has had bad breath for a few weeks, even after we brush his teeth, I just figured he some sinus issues and wasn't too concerned. He also eats too fast (or so I thought) and he would choke on food. Well, Saturday we were wrestling and he had his head thrown back with his mouth open and I saw his throat. UGH! It was not a pretty sight. He has told me before that his throat hurt but I chalked it up to sleeping with his mouth open or general sinus crud. I have a feeling it will be his tonsils. I wish they had taken them out when they did his adenoids and tubes!!

Gotta run!
bye
tara

Stacy, so sorry you are putting up with the invasion. Hope the time passes quickly and that things can get set to right before you must bear another ordeal.

Tara, hope all goes well at the doc. Our DSs both had tonsils out as they were young for same reasons as you are facing. Glad they had it done young. I had to have mine out at 32 and that was quite difficult. Ouch!

RM, I am thinking that I would be out there somewhere, but as you I absolutely most definitely would even walk shoulder to shoulder and not even know. So, in my state of "bliss" I guess I can put on my Ray Bans :smooth: and walk around just "thinking" I'm sighting! (Tee hee)

I'll pass on the brownies. We celebrated DH's bday this weekend. Had cake and ice cream! Mmmm yummy!

Liz, good girl on your commitment to exercising. Keep up the good work!

Later...

Okay is it Happy Birthday Elaine or Happy Belated birthday. Im not sure which day it is on. Anyway hope you have/had a great one.
We are on a roll here with 4 our of 7 of us sick. Thats the one thing I really hate about winter time, all the crud that goes around.

Jonathan has slept all day long. :earseek: I suppose it is good for him, but sheesh.

Deena, hope all your sickies feel better soon.

Eww, Stacy. I would be ticked, too. Only a couple more days.

Beth, glad you made it to work safely. Hate that ice.

Hi Lily! :wave2:

Sending PD your way to all the sickies in need. (Those to get well and those to stay well)

 OMG! DS #2 has his car in the garage today as it was making "funny sounds" and DH just called me to say the sounds it was making will take $2,500 to cure. The car is a necessity and a compromise to DS for going to school locally. It is not car abuse, but rather old car syndrome.
Well, there goes our vacation. :sad2:

Afternoon, all!

We did a quick jaunt over to MGM for topper shopping. Ed's gonna sell some on ebay, and did some research on which ones to sell. Alas, they had no bellhops-have a feeling those are only available at DL. Okay, that's on the list for April. Got some Indy fedoras, soccer balls, more of the be mine hearts and Mouseketeers. Pictures going out in a few.

On the way back, we stopped for a buffet lunch at a place we'd never been before-Buddy Freddy's. Glad we did, it was sooo yummy-they had red velvet cake, ooooh!

Doctor's follow up is Friday, so I'm off until then.

Stacey, sorry for the slobby relations. We're not the neatest people, but gosh, when I'm in someone else's house, I make sure we pick up everything!

LIz, the leg is coming along okay-the steri strips are leaviing some nasty marks, I'm allergic to the adhesive in them. I'm half tempted to peel them off.

Beth, be careful out there...7 can be a zoo, girlie.

Kristy, have fun with the scrapping event. Let me know when it is, I'll come by and say Hi!

Ran into a DISer when we were in Mickey's of Hollywood "1st Mickey". She's an Angel...funny how I keep running into the other CB'ers!

Doing my part to save us from page 2. Now we just need older son to make it home so we can head over to Target for his meds. Maybe I have enough energy to get to compusa for a pcmcia card.

Suzanne

Yikes Lily! Find out what they say needs to be done and try some other garages/mechanics on the phone to see what they say.

I heard from Lainey this morning. She and Luis arrived in Mobile safely. They were amused to see the young lady who was driving the tram outside the airport since she was shivering and wearing a parka and gloves.

Lainey said they were happy not even wearing coats. She also said, and I believe this is a quote, "There's no snow here..neener, neener"

There are several other cruisers staying in the same hotel so they were all going to arrange rides to the ship this morning.

She sends her love, and I'll make sure she hugs me for each of you :teeth:

Oh yes, with that neener, neener comment I soooo felt the looooove oozing out of Lainey!! :rolleyes2

;)

I have to go back and do a better ketchup, cause I missed the post about Lily's car. :guilty:

Thanks for the update. Alan. We don't have snow either :p

Elaine's birthday is Friday.

Deena.....too many sickies at your house. Good luck for fast recoveries and that the rest don't come down with something.

Tara...good luck with Jarrod. Hope whatever it is it has a fast fix.

Stacy......I'd be yelling at those ILs. My MIL can be pretty bad, but at least I don't have to deal with diapers and the like

Lily... car. That's a lot of repairs. How old is it? I would go for a newer one (or at least one that runs without putting that much $$ into it.....done that a few times  REeminds me I still need to get tires.....hate spending the $$ on those.

Suzanne...I did read that the bellhop was only at DL.
Ohhh....red velvet cake. Love it. My aunt used to make it all the time. I finally got the recipe from her :)

Anyone seen the movie, "Tower of Terror"?
