:teeth: Can't wait.....i like him any ole way :teeth:

Love our memory foam pad.....my back hasn't hurt since we got it.

LOL...Kimmie and the dog and peanut brittle. You sure that cat didn't just add some to the dog's fur to transfer the blame....they are smart ya know ;)

Glad things are going well, Karen. Sorry about the crockpot though. I also have 2. DH keeps wanting to give one away  He doesn't know why we need 2.
New food processor now has a place :) Old one is in the garbage can along with old blender and small George Foreman. :teeth:

Tomorrow we get to play some...finally. Off to see Ocean's 12 and lunch out.

Off to bed with a book now. Nighty-night.

Morning!

Today is my SIL's sonogram at the Cleveland Clinic. She asked me and Junior to come with her and my BIL, so we'll be heading out as soon as the boy's are all off to school.

Will try to ketchup later today.

Morning all! Stayed up late watching football & playing with my toy :p Yes Kimmie, I did manage to get the latest Third Day CD on there! I only was able to do 7 CDs last night, so I suppose I'll start adding more and more as time goes on.

Karen, good luck getting the bed situation together. I hope the pad helps out just as much as the "real thing" would. I would miss not having a CD player in my car, but actually now, it would be easier to play this thing in mine if I didn't have one (or a tape player). Oh well... if I like it enough to play in my car, I can find ways around it (FM transmitters).

Um, Kimmie... *anything* is better than country ;) But no, we can't skip straight to Easter... I need my vacation first :teeth: I think I stopped to look at the player you have (you told me about it before)... I must be crazy, but I went with the one my SIL had and I was able to play with. As long as they work though, doesn't matter ;) I just wonder if I can fill up all 40 GB :smooth:

I can't wait to see that one either, Nancy. But given we are way behind in movies I wanted to see this fall/winter anyway, not sure I will get around to that one  We don't make very good movie goers :p Let me know what you think of Ocean's 12! I loved the first!

Sherry, I'll be thinking of y'all and will keep your SIL and the baby in my prayers

Good Morning to all! I didn't get around to ketch-ing up last night.
DS and I watched "Who Framed Roger Rabbit". I think tonight we
will watch "I-Robot".

Sherry-Prayers and PD for your SIL & BIL!

Later Gators....................

Just :moped: in for a moment to wish good luck to Sherry, Junior, her SIL and BIL. Im at work and we are busier than a one armed paper hanger LOL. Will ketchup laters.

Good morning Y'allY'alls....

Of course I can't offer Buck Lure; that is Pam's special treat for her hubby. Besides, it is far too dangerous for the average YaYa ;)

And for you country music haters :) I was actually singing along to the radio this morning as CDB sang "The Devil Went Down to Georgia" (I was actually on a classic rock station) I haven't heard it in years. :teeth:

As far as the pic goes, is Depp trying to look like Willy Wonka or Tom Petty??

Rose Mary, I do hope you are enjoying your time with your son :) Sounds like a nice evening.

Alan, you aren't dealing with normal people here... I think we can handle more than you think. As for your country selection... *sigh* there is very little country that I go for, and you happened to pick one I like. No many out there though :p

Don't feel like working. Nothing unusual about that :rolleyes1

Yes Elaine, DS and I are having a good time right now. I'm gonna enjoy
it while I can. He'll be a teenager next month and I'm sure then the fun
will really begin, LOL.

Alan-I wouldn't consider CDB "real" country but, more like Southern Rock.
Ya know Lynyrd Skynrd, 38 Special, etc..............Funny I just heard that
song that other day, love it!

Ok, back to pretending to work.

You wouldn't be partial to some Van Zant boys from Jacksonville would you Rose? :teeth:

My brother has the eagle from Freebird the Movie tattooed on one arm (filled in with a Confederate Flag and Ronnie's hat) and the baseball and skeleton hand from Best of the Rest on his other arm.

Actually, those tattoos, along with an earring and a Harley have all occured in the past year and a half or so.

I suspect having a 2 year old grandson has something to do with it. ;)

Just a quick fly by hi!!!

Hoping everybody is having a great 2005......how are all those diets going? Add me to the list of dieting YaYa's. One day down.....the rest of my life to go....although, yesterday went pretty well for me.

To those not feeling well, sending lots of Pixie Dust your way, for those that are REALLY busy, I wish I could send you a little time, for those feeling down.... :grouphug:

OK, off to find myself a job!!! Have a great day and I will check in later!!!!

Good morning.

Good luck with the sonogram, Sherry. Hope all looks good for your SIL.

Where's Lily?? Did you actually get sick? :( Hope not.

Add me to the no country in my house (or car) list ;)

Good luck job hunting Liz. Christin is starting back at that this week too.

Hello and have a great day to everyone else. :wave2:

I've been away from the PC for a while, but I thought I'd drop by to say "hi" and "Happy New Year".

Looks like everyone has been very busy. I'm still not certain that I've caught up on all the news.

I don't know if I have ever mentioned it here or not, but Monday night is our traditional "movie night". DW Sue cooks dinner for my bachelor friend Dan. He brings over a stack of DVDs and we decide which one to watch. Last night we watched "Dodgeball" with Ben Stiller. It was one of the funniest films that I have seen in a long time. My wife had issues with the PG-13 rating as they did use the "F" word at least once during the film. I guess we should have checked out why the movie got the PG-13 rating. If you do rent or borrow the DVD, make sure to check out the alternate ending. And make sure that you watch the credits. All of the credits. They are hilarious.

Best wishes for a healthy, happy, and safe 2005.

Thanks TC, I thought it looked like a funny movie and I suspect I would love it.

Unfortunately, one "F-word" can ruin an entire movie for me, and I agree that it does not belong in a PG-13 film.

Oh my... I know that phrase so well ;) Anyway, good luck with your son as he gets older. I do hope you have many years of good nights like that together though.

Alan, every time you mention your brother, I wonder what I'll go through when I hit his age and have a 2 year old grandchild... scary thought ;)
(not your brother, me going "crazy" that is)

Liz, good luck with the job search!!!

Howdy John! Glad you enjoyed the movie. I usually love Ben Stiller, but something in that movie kind of turned me off from it... and now I can't remember what. Kind of like Alan, I agree some language doesn't belong in movies and some languages can ruin a movie for me... too bad my own mouth isn't so clean at times :rolleyes1
Anywho, I'll suggest it to Luis and see how he reacts to it. I love stupid humor a lot of the time though :)

Oh and I saw a post that the marathon is this wekeend... hopefully Lily is okay and enjoying her time at WDW right now!

....:rotfl:!

:boat:
Come sail away, come sail away, come sail away with me on the creeks that are ready to burst yet again.....

Now this crap is supposed to turn to FREEZING rain tonight.

Is this the day SSB was supposed to have the unmentionable surgery?? :guilty:

Nancy - We just got our memory foam topper on New Year's Eve - DH loves it! :)

TC - I bought my mom the movie, Love Actually without checking the rating. I got a phone call chastising me for all of the "naked ****ies". :earseek: Ooops, that was an R rated movie. DS and his friends graciously offered to watch the movie to see if it really was that distasteful.....

good god people slow down!! I can't ketchup!

So fogetaboutit! hi to all!!

gotta get back to work!

Hi Tah-rah!!!! :Pinkbounc

Alan-Is your brother married? just wondering
No, I'm not partial to those boys  :teeth:

Pam-You having bad weather or something? It's a lovely 70somethin' hear. I'm lovin' it!

Elaine-I think I found the next tattoo I'm getting it. It's a butterfly with a fairy in it, a celtic pattern. Really neat............

Hi Liz! Good luck job hunting.

Ok, back to looking professional :D .
puckerup:

Happy Tuesday! I think it's Tuesday. Is it Tuesday? Vacation still has me messed up. Okay... Happy January! There, I'm pretty sure it's January.

Sherry... how is your SIL doing? My thoughts are with her. I hope all went well with the ultrasound.

Snerk snerk! Actually Nancy, I wouldn't put it past the cat to try to frame the dog. They barely tolerate one another.

Tom Petty... Snork and stuff! :p Can't think of Tom Petty without remembering David Spade calling him the "butt ugliest man in rock n' roll". Bwahahahaha!

Elaine! There's a new Wire CD out! It's Live. Called Live Wire. Heh heh... clever eh? :p It's very good. He sings a few of the songs so completely different from the studio version. Took me awhile to get used to a couple of them, but now I think I actually prefer the live version.

Sigh. Another lousy movie goer here. I love seeing them, but have a difficult time going since I have a kid that hates going.

How was Ocean's 12 Nancy? I loved the remake of Eleven!

Now I like Devil Went Down to Georgia! Gotta agree, that they're more like Southern rock. Actually, I hear some "southern rock" influence in Third Day at times. Sometimes. Okay, maybe that's a bit of a stretch....

An early happy birthday to Rose Mary's son! Mine just turned FIFTEEN! Ack!!

Cursing in movies is a HUGE turn off for me too. Every word makes me cringe. I'll sit through one or two words, but if they go much farther, I turn it off. I find it incredibly insulting. :(
