I bought my mom the movie, Love Actually without checking the rating. I got a phone call chastising me for all of the "naked ****ies". Ooops, that was an R rated movie. DS and his friends graciously offered to watch the movie to see if it really was that distasteful.....
:rotfl:

Hi Tara and RM! The tattoo design sounds beautiful, Rose Mary!

SSB! Prayers and good thoughts coming your way!!!

 Kimmie. 15 Ack!!!!! Don't know that I'm gonna survive the teens.
:earseek:

Back to whatever I'm suppose to be doing :badpc:

Speaking of cursing in movies, a long time ago we got around to renting Pulp Fiction. Holy cats. I've never heard "that" word so many times in a row. I don't consider myself a prude by any stretch of the imagination, but that movie took the cake with regards to language. Believe it or not, that's the only part of that entire film that I recall.

Regarding the teenage issue, I have two of them to deal with. :earseek:

Good luck!!! :D

Accck I dont feel like being at work today. I wanna be at home on the couch taking a nappy.

Pam, that is too funny about your mom there!!! That really cracks me up :teeth:

Howdy Tara!!! Don't work so hard!

Rose Mary, that tattoo sounds wonderful! Did you see a pic of it somewhere (if so post ;)) I am below my goal weight so I really ought to give more thought to getting my 2nd tattoo... I kind of put it off for a while. I definitely am going to wait until after the crusie though no matter what.
Where do you think you'll put yours? I keep thinking lower stomach for me, but can't imagine what it would be like to heal there... just so much would be rubbing it clothes wise.

Kimmie, you are just too hooked on Third Day (says the chick with the Josh Groban fettish)! Live Wire... that is cute :teeth: Funny though, just as I was typing this, Third Day popped on my player. (Wired) Southern Rock... hmm... errr... well, honestly I never was really familiar with that term until lately. I am more generic with how I really classify music than that. If it isn't country, it falls into Pop/Rock for the most part :p

John, that was one of two movies I almost walked out on. I remember the needle in the heart scene, the guy getting shot up in the car & small room and something about a bar. The rest... not sure about at all. Totally didn't care of it... but oddly didn't hate it. Kind of strange... oh well.

Hi Karen... pretend to work with the rest of us ;)

Hi all!

Thanks for all the prayers for my SIL.

Well, they did the sonogram, and since it showed high levels of Down and Neurological Disorders, they did an amnio. :( My SIL is cramping and in alot of pain from it and is on total bedrest the rest of today and also tomorrow. It will take about 10 days to get the results, although he did say if they came early, he would call.

Gotta run to the store....will ketchup later!

Alan-Is your brother married? just wondering
No, I'm not partial to those boys  :teeth:

Yep, it'll be 25 years this May; I'd say she's a keeper!

Got to admit to never seeing .38 Special in concert, but I have seen Skynyrd twice and Molly Hatchet once.

Actually, I hear some "southern rock" influence in Third Day at times. Sometimes. Okay, maybe that's a bit of a stretch....

Actually, the first time I heard of Third Day was when I read a Christian album review for them which clearly called them Southern Rock. When I heard the first song, I said that Hootie and the Blowfish is NOT Southern Rock.

But I do like Third Day. ::yes::

Oh, well that's completely different. It's only language that I have a problem with. :teeth:

Elaine, I found the pic on a web site. I'll send you the link when I get home. I'm not sure where yet. I want something on the other ankle. Thinking this one might be better on the shoulder but, I'm afraid of the pain thing :earseek: .

Sherry, sorry to hear your SIL is having a tough time after the amnio. Continued prayers & PD heading her way and to all of you.

Any other brothers Alan? :D Can't count how many times I saw Lynyrd Skynrd, Molly Hatchett, 38 Special, CDB..........boy was that back in the day! a local radio station is trying to get Skynyrd inducted into to Music Hall of Fame or something like that.

Yeah Karen, pretend to work. Want Elaine and I to come show you how?
Better go practice some more. :teeth:

Sherry  's for your SIL. I'm keeping my fingers and toes crossed for her.

LOL Pam, Alan, Elaine and TC at the movie comments.

For all those not into country music, ya better hope you don't get stuck with me in a storm :p I love country as well as all other music.

Nancy I hope you enjoy Ocean's 12! I liked it..just wasn't as good as 11 was..imho.

Best Wishes to SSB today and hope that Lily is enjoying WDW instead of being sick in bed.

Rose Mary that tattoo sounds beautiful!!

Okay..back to really working again

Wow - Sherry, that was a pretty hard blow delivered to your BIL and SIL. :guilty: I'll keep everyone in my prayers.

Gee.... Alan..... I guess you want me to ship that movie down so you can review it, too, huh??

Hi there Ya Yas,

We're racing through pages the last few days! No time for real ketchup now .. will take a swing at it later.

Have a good afternoon, everyone!

Im home. YEA!!!! Today was tough. Im wired from the Prednisone so much so that my boss suggested a tranquilizer because Im not sleeping and I cannot sit still or function well right now. Went to my doctor this morning and he has me on a regime of stomach meds till the Prednisone gets under a level that wont cause the gastritis Im getting now from it. So far today no problems with my stomach. I'm just glad to be home and relaxing now. Tomorrow hopefully will be a better day at work.

Just dropping in....getting a jump start on the weight loss, but not the way I wanted. I have been sick since Friday. Went to the Dr. yesterday I have a bacterial infection. Wants me to stay home atleast today and tomorrow. Still not feeling that great, even after the shock and pills.

Amanda I am so sorry to hear you are sick. Poor kiddo. Please take good care of yourself and do what the doctor wants you to do. HUGS!!!! I will be saying prayers that this is short lived.

Sorry to hear you are sick, Amanda. :( Take it easy and I hope you feel better soon.

Kept peeking in, but not posting while I was doing some work today.

Sherry, I'll keep them all in my prayers. I hope your SIL is feeling better soon

:rotfl:
I thought that they sounded like Hootie the first time I heard them as well!!! However, knowing what y'all call "Southern Rock" (remember, I don't make that much of a distinction myself) I will agree with Kimmie... some of it does sound a bit like that style.

Oh Kimmie... in love with "Wired" (the song itself) now :)

LOL Rose Mary... I think we are pros at this whole "pretend work" now! And I'd love to see the link whenever you can :)

Kristy, that's okay, you play your country and I'll take my new toy and blast the living daylights out of all my other music to drown it out ;) Sorry, nothing really against country... just not much really going for it :p (j/k of course... my dad just played it way too much as a kid)

Pam... so many thoughts about sending movies to Alan... so little time ;)

Howdy Caroline :wave2:

Karen, glad you made it home and glad the stomach is doing okay.

Amanda, so sorry you've been sick :( I do hope you feel better soon

Hiya Caroline

Karen get some rest tonight

Amanda same goes for you. I hope you feel better soon!!! Hey...did you ever receive that tape via UPS?

LOL Elaine, I know that feeling. My dads favorite saying is "If it's not country, it's not music". He stills listens to all the old country tunes. I like the more modern ones. :cool1: I love the new song with Nelly and Tim McGraw...what a combo Country and Hip Hop

ARGH!!
Junior just called and he is being sent home from work. :( They have no job for him because of his restriction. :( He'll be off another 2 weeks now. This is sooo stressful.

Kristy, I like that song, too! :)

Sherry, I'm so sorry to hear your SIL is having such a rough time. She will be in my prayers.

Amanda, I hope you begin to feel better soon!

Pulp Fiction... ack! Saw that one back when I'd seen so many like movies (language, etc) that I was a bit more tolerant of it all. Interesting movie in some ways, but the language and violence... oh my... don't think I could take it now days. I must be getting old. LOL!

Wire... good song! ;) Hey!! I have a Hootie/Third Day story too, but mine was the other way around. First time I heard Hootie, I thought: "Hey! They sound like Third Day!" Snerk! :p Ran out and bought a couple of their CDs after that.
